Beyonce, Jay Z, Rihanna & Kanye: Honored With Ebony Covers For Black Music Month
Making for a sizzling summer, Ebony magazine released a series of collectors edition covers for its June 2014 issue.
Featuring A-listers like Beyonce Knowles, Jay Z, Rihanna and Kanye West, the series is sure to sell like hotcakes.
The special covers were released in celebration of Black Music Month, to which the magazine pays tribute to the stars for their “unprecedented impact on black music.”
In addition to the bevy of famous faces on the cover, the publication’s inside features specials on Usher, Mary J. Blige, Lauryn Hill and Prince, along with icons of years past including Tina Turner, Tupac, and Donna Summer.

Amid all the rumors of the two being a couple Khloe Kardashian & French Montana contend they are not… But, whatev! On Saturday Khloe showed what a sport she is by attending the Floyd Mayweather-Marcos Maidana boxing match in Las Vegas on Saturday with her latest squeeze. The 26-year-old reality star showed up at the event arm-in-arm with the 29-year-old Moroccan rapper, and she held on to him as he weaved a path through the star-packed venue that also attracted Khloe’s little sister Kyle Jenner, Justin Bieber and a slew of others.

Together the pair watched as Mayweather beat Maidana in a close and tough win which earned the victor a cut over his right eye and a swollen mark over his left.
Earlier that evening, Khloe and French posed separately on the arrivals line ahead of the match. Khloe showed off her curvaceous yet svelte figure in a buff-coloured, thigh-trailing bandage dress that had a golden zipper running up the entire front. Khloe teamed her dress with a cream blazer and posed proudly with one manicured and jewelled hand on hip while her blonde-tipped, brown locks fell across her shoulders.

As they gear up for their wedding spin-off show which is scheduled to air on June 1st, we finally get to see the beautiful wedding photos of “RHOA” star Kandi Burruss saying “I Do” to her husband Todd Tucker last month.
Decked out in a $20,000 Reco Chappele custom wedding gown with a 12-foot train, Kandi and Todd celebrated their love with a lavish “Coming to America” themed wedding held at Atlanta’s Le Fais Do-Do event facility in front of 300 guests.
Kandi glowed in her pics as she posed with husband alongside her mother Mama Joyce, her daughter Riley, her father, Todd’s 17-year-old daughter and his mother. SIDEBAR: Could Mama Joyce at least crack a fake smile?
Kandi also posed it up with her bridesmaids, “RHOA” cast mate Phaedra Parks, former Xscape band mate Tiny, singer Fantasia, "LAHH ATL" star Rasheeda, her best friend Carmon, her matron of honor Tan and her “man of honor” Kwame Waters.
The blushing bride was ushered in by her father, who also officiated the wedding.

Rihanna Leaves Def Jam, Signs To Roc Nation
Rihanna has reportedly jumped the Def Jam ship and officially signed to Jay Z's record label, Roc Nation.
Shawn "Jay Z" Carter, former Def Jam president, signed Rihanna back in 2005. Even after the Hip-Hop mogul left his role and started Roc Nation, the Barbadian princess remained at Def Jam and released seven albums under the label.
A lot has changed at Def Jam, since. Former CEO Barry Weiss stepped down earlier this year, which led to corporate parent Universal Music Group dissolving the company into three separate record labels: Def Jam, Island, and Motown. The latter has ultimately resulted in Rihanna leaving to join Roc Nation, whose team has been managing her since October 2010.
Riri's updated profile on RocNation.com indicates she's not only being managed by them, but fully housed. Though her publicist have yet to speak out, sources close to the singer confirmed that Rihanna is now a Roc Nation artist, signed to both the label and its management company.
It's safe to say the Unapologetic songstress is a major asset as the label's new biggest star. Why the news is being kept under wraps? We have no idea. The only thing left to do is wait for Rihanna's inaugural Roc nation release.
Gabrielle Union Says Dwyane Wade Is A “Groomzilla”
HMMMMM “Groomzilla,”? Well move over bridezillas!
Well according to actress Gabrielle Union, her fiance Dwyane Wade is a wedding diva, which I think is kinda cute for a man to be like that.
In an interview with Vegas Magazine the star opened up about her new family and wedding dresses deatils.
”Well, it will be smaller than the one in the movie, but it’s definitely not toned down, per the wishes of my groomzilla. D’s very involved in every detail. My dude is having a princess moment. Me? I did the wine tasting, and I’ve said yes to the dress. In fact, I’ve said yes to a few of them. That’s the joy of getting married to a man who loves clothes and wardrobe changes: You can have more than one dress.”
In December 2013, the pair were engaged and thrown into a whirlwind of scandals after Wade’s lovechild with another woman was revealed as a “break baby” during a brief split with Union. Now, Union says that she never planned on an unplanned family with Wade’s other children, but loves them as her own.
I went from no kids to D getting full custody, and the next day we had a full house. So it was instant. Our lives never skipped a beat. When you’re someone who goes from never having thought about birthing her own babies to a ready-made family that has immediate needs and wants and desires, your life takes a back burner. If I were lucky enough to have one come out of my body, then great, I’d be totally open to that. But D’s kids are more than just part of the wedding. They are part of my life. They’re a package deal.
FUNNY OR OFFENSIVE? SNL Writer Leslie Jones' SLAVERY Skit Sparks OUTRAGE
Outside of the brilliant "The Beygency" skit, SNL other "most talked about moment" came via SNL writer Leslie Jones who appeared during the Weekend Update segment. Leslie's cringe-worthy segment was peppered with "jokes" about slavery, breeding and a pseudo-takedown of Lupita Nyong'o.
On social media, many people voiced their outrage (and that made Leslie defensive):
Ebony's Senior Editor Jamilah Lemieux said,
"I don’t know if she’s just doubling down and committing to defending a completely indefensible (IT WASN’T REALLY WASN'T FUNNY, MA) skit, or if she really just doesn’t grasp what was wrong with it. But it's depressing that Jones would play out her own issues with feeling undesirable in a way that not only made her, in that moment, perhaps as unattractive as humanly possible, but also mocked other Black women who may be taller, larger or outside the ‘norm’ in the process. Comedy can be cathartic, dark, subversive...but that takes skill that wasn't displayed here. She didn't call to question why women like her are, by her accounts, less wanted than the Lupitas and Beyonces of the world; she talked about fighting Crips for a White dude and popping out NBA-worthy babies on demand."
Is this much ado about nothing....or was this skit offensive? So far....no one from the SNL camp has addressed the controversy. Should they?

Tony Parker and Fiance Welcome a Baby Boy
NBA player Tony Parker is officially a first-time dad. A spokesman for the San Antonio Spurs confirmed that the NBA player’s fiancee Axelle Francine gave birth to their first child, a baby boy named Josh, on Wednesday, April 30.
“This is certainly a beautiful day,” wrote Parker on his website. “It’s
nice to be a dad and start with a win, it’s great.” Several of Tony’s
colleagues commented on his excitement about fatherhood, telling media
that the San Antonio ‘Spurs’ player was overjoyed that his son was born
just in time for Wednesday night’s game. “He was really excited before
the game,” said ‘Spurs’ forward Tim Duncan.
Iggy Azalea Snaps Scantily Clad Flick With Rita Ora
Though Rita Ora will have a hard time following last week's racy photo shoot with Terry Richardson, she does show a little more skin in a photo that surfaced today. Credit the harmless flick to fellow foreign artist Iggy Azalea, who posted an image of the Roc Nation artist in her underwear.
It sounds a lot worst than it is (it's definitely milder than what she and Richardson produced), but the thirst mongers are sure to react at the sight of the beauty exposed. The image came in context of a flurry of pics posted by Azalea. Needless to say that she didn't look bad herself.

Well, tat’s true love… I say! Marco Perego took the opportunity to demonstrate his love for his wife Zoe Saldana in a different way on Saturday as he showed off the large tattoo he has of the raven-haired beauty’s face on his arm.

Vans Vault x Star Wars Summer 2014 Collection
Expect more from the Star Wars franchise, as the cast for Star Wars: Episode VII has been revealed. Before anything materializes on screen, Vault by Vans cooked up a collection that pays homage to the legendary film series.
A range of the skate brand's popular silhouettes, including the Era, Sk8-Hi, and Slip Ons, received modifications to fit characters and scenario's from the Star Wars storyline. For example, an OG Era LX and OG Sk8-Hi LX both don an all-over Darth Vader and Storm Trooper print.
