The Daily Buzz For May 27

The John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt Feud and The Post-WrestleMania Lull in WWE
John Cena and Bray Wyatt are set to have their third match in as many months at WWE's Payback pay-per-view on June 1. Reports indicate the feud could continue through the summer, possibly until SummerSlam in August.
But many fans have already soured on this angle. Some of it is the typical LOLCENASUX hatred that permeates the Internet, but some of it is legitimate criticism of a story that, while still great, has underwhelmed at times in the past few months.

The story has not had much forward momentum since Extreme Rules. Bray Wyatt comes out and cuts an amazing promo, Cena responds that he will never give up, rinse and repeat. It's horizontal movement, not forward progress. The story still has plenty of juice, and a couple of tweaks would solve a lot of problems. And no, Cena does not have to turn heel, nor does Bray have to win cleanly. He's the heel. Heels aren't supposed to win cleanly, no matter how much we cheer for them.
Evolution and The Shield are still embroiled in their post-Mania feud (and will have an elimination tag team match at Payback), and Daniel Bryan would have faced the demonic incarnation of Kane yet again at Payback if the WWE World Heavyweight Champion had not undergone neck surgery.

The post-WrestleMania period in 2014 is seemingly a callback to an era when feuds would last for months and months, when storylines would burn slowly before a final blaze. But in today's age, that doesn't always fly.

But for those of you bored with the Cena-Wyatt feud or any of the others at the top of the card, consider what WWE offered as its main attractions in the period between WrestleMania and Money in the Bank (when the build to SummerSlam truly starts) in the past few years:

2013: Cena vs. Ryback for the WWE Championship

2012: Cena vs. John Laurinaitis

2011: Cena vs. The Miz for the WWE Championship

It's usually a boring time for wrestling after the glow of WrestleMania as we wait for the secondary pay-per-view, SummerSlam. There are certainly wonderful moments, matches and feuds in the other calendar months, but the fervor that accompanies the months of January to March and July to August just isn't there.
No matter how many stellar promos Bray Wyatt cuts, a portion of the fan base is still going to roll their eyes when Cena emerges from the curtain and swears to vanquish him once and for all because we know the next pay-per-view will just extend the feud.
The Shield vs. Evolution feud still gets the fans to go wild, especially when The Shield doesn't give their foes a moment to breathe and assaults them as soon as they get into the building. But how long will it take for fans to want a change here, too?

If Daniel Bryan had not gotten hurt and moved on from his feud with Kane, it's likely his next program would also just stall until the big money fight at SummerSlam.
But even though we're in a dry period, let's try to enjoy the product each week. It's harder on some weeks, but there are reasons to tune in each time. Paige, Cesaro and others in the mid-card are enough, and that's before we even get to the main event scene.
So while WWE's current storylines aren't perfect, we'll hit pay dirt eventually. We'll have dream matches at SummerSlam, but we'll have to fight to get there.

What do you think, WWE fans? Are we just in a rough patch, or is there a larger problem under the surface

Emma Watson Earns English Lit Degree From Brown University
With enough money in the bank to literally never have to work again, Emma Watson wasn’t content to just sit idle and watch her life go by.
The “Perks of Being a Wallflower” hottie posted a photo to her Twitter account over the weekend to celebrate her graduation from the prestigious Brown University, and she looked darling in her cap and gown.
Watson earned a bachelor’s degree in English Literature after initially enrolling in 2009 towards the end of her run with the “Harry Potter” film franchise.
Back in April, Emma told Elle magazine, “People told me it wasn’t possible. I kept saying, ‘I don’t care.’ This is what I want. And graduating will, for me, be really symbolic of all of that. I will be there and I will be throwing a huge party. And getting very drunk.”

George Zimmerman's Parents Sue Roseanne For $750K
George Zimmerman's murder of Trayvon Martin has caused great distress to the people closet to him and his parents are legally stating they felt the burdened aftermath of his deeds.
They are suing comedian/actress Roseanne Barr for sharing their address on Twitter while the entire world was calling for their son to be arrested in March of 2012.
Reports NYDailyNews:
Robert and Gladys Zimmerman say the tweet by Barr on March 29, 2012, caused $600,000 in emotional distress, according to federal court documents, after they were forced to "flee their house in the middle of the night."
Of that amount, about $37,400 will cover additional expenses such as hotel rooms, travel, meals out and laundry, since they couldn't live at their Lake Mary, Fla., property after Barr shared their address.
Roseanne Barr is being sued by the parents of George Zimmerman, who say they endured emotional distresss after she shared their address on Twitter.
View the screenshots of the incriminating tweet below
The comedian later deleted the tweet shared with more than 100,000 people, which also included their telephone number and names, court documents show, but journalists had already descended upon their home.
Barr engaged her Twitter followers after deleting the message, justifying her decision by saying she was simply combating Zimmerman's vigilantism with a taste of his own medicine.
Spike Lee got caught up in the same legal turmoil for tweeting the wrong address to the Zimmerman resident and settled out of court. It's likely that Roseanne is headed down the same path.

Oh? Toni Braxton Charges Her Kids Rent
You gon’ learn today! It’s hard out here in the streets when you’re all grown up and have stacks on stacks of bills to pay, but Toni Braxton is making sure her 11-year-old and 12-year-old sons Diezel and Denim learn the value of a dollar before they even hit those rebellious teenage years.  This week, during a visit to The Queen Latifah Show, Toni revealed that she makes her boys pay rent and utilities to teach them that when you get out into the real world, bills need to be paid.

They get ten and twelve dollars a week, and one pays me two dollars, the other pays me three dollars. Seventy-five cents for gas and electric and fifty cents for cable and things like that.
Just so they can understand the value of a dollar and they can understand that when you get older and have to leave, you have to pay bills. It was a shock to me when I found out I had to pay bills, like, ‘What do you mean rent?!’ So I thought I should instill that into my little boys.
Considering some of the financial issues Toni’s had to go through with bankruptcy and whatnot, it’s understandable that she wants to teach her sons money-management early on instead of having them find out the hard way.
And she’s not the only one that’s giving her kids a lesson in financial management. In 2012, Taraji P. Henson revealed that she made her 18-year-old son sit out his first semester of college so that he could get a job:

I don’t want to raise this privileged kid, who’s out of touch, so I made him sit out the first semester and he has to get a job. He called his grandmother, he was like, ‘It’s hard out here, it’s hard to find a job.’ So I was like, ‘Yeah, I need you to know that.
I need him to see how real it is out here. It builds character. I told him, ‘College is like an investment. I’m investing my money in your future, and if I feel like you’re a bad investment, I’m taking my money bac

Again…Oh?
