Too Much, Too Little, Too Late? Pastor Mase & Wife Secretly In Nasty Divorce
Behind closed doors, there has been a battle brewing between rapper turned pastor Mase (real name Mason Durell Betha) and his wife Twyla. There have been recent reports that after 12 years of marriage, the couple were headed towards divorce.
Rapper Mase responded to reports saying that they were false, but it appears that’s not the case. According to TMZ, not only are they divorcing, it appears to be a bit messy. Reportedly, Mase initially filed for divorce, asking for the couple’s two children. A few weeks later, he dropped the divorce case.
Allegedly, the day after Mase filed in Atlanta, Twyla filed for legal separation in San Diego. In return, Mase filed asking for a full-blown divorce. Reportedly, in the legal documents filed by Mase, it indicated that they had been separated since 2012. So what’s the big deal? Apparently, the couple who were pastoring a church in Atlanta (El Elyon International Church) had been selling books about having a healthy marriage. The congregation and public may have been a bit mislead, thinking that they were happily married.
Meanwhile, both Mase and Twyla want full physical custody of their children. She also wants spousal and child support. Well don't let her find out about him down on Cypress by the Marta Station trying to pick up the 'gurls' LOL!
