Beyonce lands Time magazine's '100 Most Influential People' cover
Beyonce is one of Time magazine's cover gals for its annual '100 Most Influential People' issue.
The 32-year-old singer received the high honor from the mag along with some complimentary words from Sheryl Sandberg, the COO of Facebook.
"Beyoncé doesn't just sit at the table. She builds a better one," Sandberg wrote of the powerful songstress, who stunned on the black and white cover in a white two-piece ensemble.
"She raises her voice both on- and offstage to urge women to be independent and lead."
Others who graced the cover include actor Robert Redford, General Motors CEO Mary Barra and Brooklyn Nets center Jason Collins.speaking of..."He’s also a leader and an inspiration"
Out NBA basketball player, Jason Collins, joins the list of Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People. In a profile by Chelsea Clinton, who first met him when they were both college freshmen, describes Collins as "a leader and an inspiration." But her admiration doesn't stop there.
"Jason’s kindness and fierceness alike derive from that word too often bandied about and too rarely true: integrity. Jason has always maintained he’s first a basketball player. He is. But he’s also a leader and an inspiration. For Michael Sam, Derrick Gordon and others whose names we may never know. And also for those of us lucky enough to be fans — or to call him our friend."

Letoya Luckett COVERS Rolling Out Magazine
Letoya Luckett is one of the more underrated hard working talents out there. This houston Bred, southern bell took the time out to give advice to young starlets and share her own insecurities. Letoya Luckett first emerged from the famous group Destiny’s child in the early 90′s; and since then has taken off working on her own solo career and acting career. It took a while for Letoya to be comfortable in her own skin. She points out that being in the spotlight only makes your insecurities and imperfections more visible.
Letoya says, “I love Instagram and Twitter and I think it’s awesome that fans can connect with their favorite artists, but it also gives them a chance in that comment box to say what they really feel about them. Be confident in who you are and who God made you to be. I can’t pay attention to it. I’d go crazy out here.”
Ms. Luckett also expresses her concern about how young women are influenced these days, thinking that they have to show certain things to be appreciated or liked by men. Luckett has generated quite the buzz with her appearances on “Single Ladies,” ;HBO’s “Treme,” and a host of other TV shows and films. She’s set to release her new film, From the Rough(alongside Taraji P. Henson) and is working hard on her upcoming third solo album, Until Then

Newlywed Kandi Burruss appeared on V103 this morning on the Ryan Cameron Morning Show with Mama Joyce where they addressed a series of hot topics. First, both Kandi and Mama Joyce reiterated they WERE NOT offended by Fantasia's drunken reception speech at the wedding.
Then, Kandi defended Porsha against reports that she was drunk and had take prescriptions meds before the reunion. Lastly, Mama Joyce said the Kenya/Porsha fight was due to Kenya's jealously. At the 3:32 mark Joyce says,
"I think that was all jealousy. I think Kenya is just jealous that Porsha is so beautiful. Porsha outweighs Kenya 2:1." She added, Porsha is who Kenya wishes she was 10 years ago.....Porsha is a BRICKHOUSE!”

Seahawks Quarterback Russell Wilson Files For Divorce
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has decided to file for a divorce from his wife, Ashton Wilson, whom he married in 2012.
The statement reads:
“I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce. Clearly, decisions like these don’t come easy. Ashton and I respectfully ask for prayers, understanding and privacy during this difficult time. Moving forward, I will have no further comment on this personal matter.”
The couple met in high school, then had a long-distance relationship while Wilson was at North Carolina State and Ashton was at the University of Georgia. They were engaged in August 2010, just five months before Wilson transferred to Wisconsin.

Singer Jhene Aiko has landed on pages in GQ Magazine for a sexy photo shoot displaying her toned, slim bod and flawless skin.
After hitting the stage at Coachella on both weekends, “The Worst” singer dished on they type of guys she prefers and how a guy can scoop up a chick like her, according to The Smoking Section.
“I’m pretty open-minded and so I like to give different types of guys chances. My ideal date would be driving with no destination and just talk, get to know each other, get lost. Models Sue 50 Cent For $11M Over Instagram Defamation
Be weary of who you defame on the Internets, because it could possibly end up costing you millions. Case in point, a model is suing 50 Cent for a cool $11 million because allegedly got her blacklballed in the industry via an Instagram post.

A Yonkers actress and model slapped 50 cent with a $11 million defamation suit Thursday, claiming the rap star tried to “blacklist” her from future employment by allegedly lying that she leaked photos of a video shoot they did together to the media — photos that led to rumors they were dating.
The Manhattan federal court suit says a fuming 50 Cent on March 27 – days after the photos of the “Big Rich Town” video were shot by a “third party” – took to his Instragram account and posted a photo of Sally Ferreira with the text: “WARNING: Do not attempt to work with this thirsty Video bitch [Her name is Sally Ferreira and she's a model...] she sent photos Of the video shoot to Media takeout Saying I'm in a relationship With her Can anyone say RESHOOT.”
Below the picture, 50 Cent – who's real name is Curtis Jackson III — captioned the post with: “Big FAIL, super thirsty, new shoot this week coming. Unbelievable #smsaudio #Animal Ambition.
Fif deleted the Instagram post in question a few hours later, but the damage had been done. Nothing on the Internets is every truly deleted and sites like Mediatakeout and hot97.com posted the story.
According to Ferreira, three projects she had in the works were put on hold after 50's post got around. While the Post says her lawsuit is for$11 million, the New York Daily News reports it's for $5 million.
We're guessing this will be settled swiftly out of court.
Statute Of Limitations: Kevin Clash, Voice Of Elmo Cleared Of Child Sex Charges
Kevin Clash, the 28-year voice of popular Sesame Street puppet Elmo has just been cleared of all his sex charges involving three men who alleged he preyed on them when they were minors.
The reason being is a New York judge says the claims exceed the timeline provided by the state's statute of limitations.

Clash, 53, was accused by multiple men of sexually abusing them over 10 years ago when they were minors. Multiple lawsuits were filed, but in July 2013, a New York judge said that the claims were made too late, as they were outside the state's statute of limitations, which provides that a lawsuit has to be filed within six years of the event or three years after a plaintiff turns 21.
Clash's three accusers brought their cases to the U.S. Court of Appeals, alleging the psychological effects of the abuse weren't fully realized until 2012. But this month, the cases were again dismissed.
Clash resigned from his job as the voice of Elmo in 2012 after the allegations of improper sexual relations with minors became public. He has denied any wrongdoing from the beginning, saying that any relationships he engaged in occurred between consenting adults.
The openly gay puppeteer also released a statement through his lawyer regarding the verdict of the case.
"Kevin is pleased by the judge's decision," says Michael G. Berger. "As we have maintained all along, our goal has been to put these spurious claims behind him so that Kevin can go about the business of re-claiming his personal life and his professional standing, which was recently recognized once again by the three Emmys he won last month. "The judge's decision to dismiss and close the three lawsuits is an important step in that direction. Kevin is looking forward to a time in the near future when he can tell his story free of innuendo and false claims."
No report as of yet if any of the accusers are planning an appeal.

Jay-Z and Beyoncé have reportedly bought a £5.5 million mansion in West London.

“Both Jay and Beyoncé are Anglophiles and have been toying with the idea of getting a pad for a couple of years now,” a source told British newspaper The Mirror.
“They are coming to England this year and touring before the year is out.”
Apparently Jay-Z and Beyoncé visit London so often, they believed it would be a good idea to have a property there.
Although their prior stays in England’s capital city have been excellent, the couple, who are parents to two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, supposedly wanted a residence of their own to call home.
“On previous trips, they have stayed in five star hotels and, on one occasion, a rented mansion,” the insider explained.
They are understood to have exchanged on the pad around four weeks ago.
And billionaires Queen B, 32, and Jay, 44, will quickly recoup the cost of their plush new crib as they’re set to gross over £2million per show for their 20-date US tour.
“While money isn’t an issue, it makes sense for them to have a more permanent base and get to know one particular area.”
Cuba Gooding Jr.’s Wife Files for Divorce After 20 Years!
Actor Cuba Gooding Jr.’s wife Sara Kapfer filed for legal separation on Tuesday after 20 years of marriage.
Kapfer filed for divorce in LA County Superior Court on Tuesday citing “irreconcilable differences” according to the divorce papers obtained by TMZ. The high school sweethearts have been married since 1994 and have 3 children together. According to the documents, Kapfner wants joint legal custody of kids and will work out child support sometime later on in proceedings.
Just last year, the The Butler star gushed about being married to Sara on The View, but he admitted he was struggling to find time to be with his family while performing in The Trip to Bountiful on Broadway.
He said: ‘When you do films, you’re away from the family, but I can still fly them in or fly home to see them, so… my wife and I… have this rule – never go more than three or four weeks without seeing each other.
