Details Emerge About New Rihanna Movie ‘Home’
Superstar Rihanna is gearing up for the big screen in new movie ‘Home’.
As reported, the DreamWorks production will see the diva release a themed soundtrack in support of the film -which she also stars in- later this year.
Ahead of the new music, DreamWorks have released a fresh synopsis and “prequel video” for the post-apocalyptic-alien-invasion-buddy-comedy.

“When Earth is taken over by the overly-confident Boov, an alien race in search of a new place to call home, all humans are promptly relocated, while the Boov get busy efficiently reorganizing the planet. But when one resourceful girl, Tip, (Rihanna) manages to avoid capture, she finds herself the accidental accomplice of a banished Boov by the name of Oh (Jim Parsons). Equally stubborn and set in their ways, these two fugitives realize there’s a lot more at stake than intergalactic relations as they embark on the road trip of a lifetime. Good thing they have a flying car.

Former NFL Quarterback McNabb arrested
Former NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb has been released from an Arizona jail after serving a one-day sentence for a DUI arrest late last year.
Records released by West Mesa Justice Court show the 37-year-old McNabb served his time Wednesday and was released Thursday morning. He was at the Lower Buckeye Jail in Phoenix.
McNabb was arrested Dec. 15 on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. He was pulled over after going 81 mph in a 65-mph zone on the Loop 101 near McDowell Road, according to court records.
He pleaded guilty to misdemeanor DUI on March 27, and nine days of his sentence were suspended in exchange for his participation in a treatment program. He paid nearly $1,500 in fines.
"I have had other high-profile athletes who have been incarcerated with no problems and this latest athlete follows that same pattern," Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said.
McNabb's lawyer Stephen Benedetto didn't immediately return a call Thursday seeking comment.
McNabb did not discuss the matter on his live NBC Sports radio show Thursday and the organization declined to comment. He left the Tempe station an hour early and drove past the 3TV camera without commenting.

Janelle Monae HONORED At Harvard College Women’s Center
After headlining at Harvard’s Yardfest 2014 last weekend, Janelle Monae was awarded with the inaugural 2014 Award for Achievement in Arts and Media by the Harvard College Women’s Center on yesterday. This award seeks to acknowledge a prominent performer who tackles questions of identity including sex, gender, and sexuality, in their performances.
The “Electric Lady” shared personal stories about her past, including how her mother and grandmother are credited for her success and revealed the significance behind her signature black and white tuxedo look she dons for her performances.
“Embrace the things that make you unique, even if it makes people uncomfortable,” she said.
She revealed that her signature black-and-white tuxedo stage outfit is her paying homage to when she was a maid before she propelled in the music industry.
And she was also recognized as the 2014 Woman of the Year by the Black Men’s Forum at their 20th annual Celebration of Black Women Gala. Nice!

Pharrell's Hat Is Now Pop Art On Display At Alexandria Gallery
"Happy" by Diane Blackwell is on display now at The Art League Gallery.Almost as ubiquitous as Pharrell's anthem to merriment is his now-iconic oversized hat, which looks like a cross between a Park Ranger's hat and that of Curious George's handler.
And now Pharrell's hat has reached its pop culture zenith as it's now the subject of an Andy Warhol-like painting that's part of a pop art exhibit at The Art League Gallery in Alexandria. According to a release, the exhibit is part of a celebration of The Art League's 60th anniversary, in which they asked artists to "channel Pop Artists of the 1960s" for an exhibition.
The Pharrell piece, entitled "Happy," by Diane Blackwell "[celebrates] the iconic movement with a modern twist." "Happy," along with the rest of the pieces in the exhibition, "[explores] the methods and themes of the pop artists from the 1960s inside the cultural and artistic world of 2014." No word if there's any painting of Lady Gaga being puked on at SXSW, but it seems like the exhibition would be incomplete without one.
Anyway, the Pop Art exhibition is on display at The Art League (105 North Union Street, Alexandria, Va.) now through May 5.

It’s no secret that companies doctor up their photos before launching an ad campaign, but the un-Photoshopped pics from Lady Gaga's Versace shoot are a bit surprising.
While the finished products all show the “Just Dance” diva with a glowing complexion and sultry eyes, it turns out the raw images were pretty heavily processed.
Gaga’s natural skin appeared to be washed out and she had some dramatic dark circles under her eyes that made her look drastically different than the edited pics.
Adding to insult to injury, Lady Gaga has been accused of wasting 365,000 gallons of water by filling the huge Neptune swimming pool at the historic Hearst Castle for her “GUY” video during a California drought. However, her rep dismissed the claim as “a made up story.”

SHOCKER: X-Men director Bryan Singer accused of sexually abusing underage male child actor and giving him alcohol and drugs during 'sordid Hollywood sex ring' parties
Just a month before his next film X-Men: Days of Future Past is set to release, director Bryan Singer has been accused of child molestation.
According to documents filed in Hawaii, 31-year-old Michael Egan claims Singer used his power in the entertainment industry to sexually exploit him when he was an underage teen actor striking it out in Los Angeles.
Now Egan is suing the director, for $300,000 for the 'catastrophic psychological and emotional injuries' he says he suffered, the documents filed Wednesday explain.
Representing Egan is attorney Jeff Herman, who plans on filing more sex abuse cases against film industry execs soon.
'Hollywood has a problem with the sexual exploitation of children. This is the first of many cases I will be filing to give these victims a voice and to expose the issue,' Mr Herman said in a press release.
In the suit, Egan claims the abuse started when he was 14 or 15 and moved to Los Angeles with his family to start his acting career.
It was in LA that he was introduced to another Hollywood powerplayer, Marc Collins-Rector and his lover Chad Shackley, he claims. Egan was invited to one of Collins-Rector's 'notorious' parties held at his home, dubbed the M&C Estate in Encino, California.
According to the suit, the parties were well-known in Hollywood and attended by investors in Collin-Rector's company who lured young boys as part of a 'sordid sex ring'. Collins-Rector eventually faced justice himself, admitting in court in 2004 that he lured five minors across state lines for sexual purposes.
While these parties allegedly 'featured sexual contact between adult males and the many teenage boys', Egan maintains he 'never freely' consented to the advances.
It was two or three months after Collins-Rector began allegedly abusing Egan that he was introduced to Singer at one of the parties.
Egan was in the pool when Collins-Rector approached him and ordered him out to hug Singer.
Egan was nude, as per the rules of the house pool, so when he hugged Singer the director allegedly 'grabbed his bare buttocks'.
Egan claims the three then went to a jacuzzi where he was ordered to sit on Collins-Rector's lap before being passed off to Singer.
Egan claims Singer brought him an alcoholic beverage, even though he was under age, and then promised him a part in one of the upcoming movies he was directing. He spoke about the people at the party, saying 'this group' controls Hollywood.
According to the lawsuit, Singer told Egan he was 'sexy' and went on to masturbate the underage boy and perform oral sex on him. The director then told Egan to do the same to him, but the then-minor says he resisted.
That allegedly caused Singer to push the boy's head under water. When he finally got up for air, Singer again demanded he perform oral sex and when he refused for the second time, Singer took him out of the pool and forcibly sodomized him, Egan says.
The suit also refrences two trips Egan went on with Singer to Hawaii when he was 17 years old.
Egan stayed at Paul Mitchell's resort in Kailua, Hawaii where he says Singer provided on multiple occasions cocaine, xanax, rohypnol, as well as other drugs and alcohol.
He even promised him a part in an X-Men movie he was directing.
Singer first started directing the comic book adaptations in 2000. In 1999, when the Hawaii trips happened, the director would have been around 33 years old.
Egan and his lawyer are scheduled to hold a press conference about the new lawsuit Thursday in Los Angeles.
They've filed in Hawaii, however, since the statue of limitations to file a suit is longer there and would have expired next week. This is just MESSY!
