Post traumatic stress, severe insomnia and bipolar disorder is said to be what’s behind Chris Brown actin’ the fool all the time with his anger issues … according to court documents.

The info came out as Brown appeared in court on Friday for a progress hearing in the Rihanna beating case. The documents were submitted by the facility where the dancer/singer recently completed 95 days of anger management therapy.
“Mr. Brown became aggressive and acted out physically due to his untreated mental health disorder, severe sleep deprivation, inappropriate self-medicating and untreated PTSD,” reads the letter from the facility. Also, Brown was diagnosed with Bipolar II and is on medication for the condition as well as others.

Brown has learned various relaxation exercises, according to the letter, and he’s tested negative for drugs, including marijuana, during his stay, reports TMZ.

By the way, the facility says Chris doing well. It says he got up at 5 AM and worked hard. They say he’s been especially good with community service:

“Mr. Brown’s attitude has been beyond exemplary in regard to his community service responsibilities.”

Solange Calls Brandy “The Goddess of R&B”
No lies were told when it comes to Brandy and her musical contributions over the years, last year, she took to Twitter to defend Brandy’s Two Eleven album and offer the album’s haters a piece of her mind. I must agree that album was everything to me and more….
Solange recently explained to NPR that there were times she wasn’t even able to hold a decent conversation with critics about the genre they’re paid to cover. “I would have these conversations where I would use different references, or I would talk about Jaheim, just anything, anyone and get nothing back,” said Solange who received some backlash for her criticism of the critics. However, she said it was time for her to speak out. “It’s something that has been expressed by a lot of people. I had no problem vocalizing about it,” she said.

Solange mentioned Monica, Aaliyah and TLC’s Chilli as R&B singers whose music touched and influenced her. “There’s no way to really explain the emotional and physical and mental reaction when you’re at a party in seventh grade and a 702 record comes on,” Solange said. “[R&B] is all those things. It’s the gelling down your baby hair because Chilli did it and you want it to look like Chilli so much. The whole phenomenon of Tommy Hilfiger after Aaliyah wore it. All of those elements, and then you have your very, very obscure ones too.”

Brandy, who Solange holds in high regard she states, “Brandy is a goddess in R&B to a lot of people. She is really the foundation for a lot of this very innovative, progressive, experimental R&B. Brandy influenced a lot of that,” said Solange.

So Long, Farewell: VH1’s Single Ladies Canceled
If you were a fan of the adventures of Raquel, Keisha and April, you’ll be sad to hear that VH1 has decided to cancel Single Ladies after three seasons.

VH1 has issued a statement regarding their decision to not renew the series for a fourth season:
“We’ve been proud to deliver three seasons of the drama, romance and style that engaged viewers in each episode of Single Ladies. Although we’ve decided not to move forward with another season, we hope to work again with the talented cast, creatives and producers as well as our partners at Flavor Unit Entertainment in the near future. We also thank the show’s fans for their support since the premiere in 2011.”
The show starred LisaRaye McCoy, Charity Shea and Denise Vasi as well as newcomer, Letoya Luckett. Actress, Stacey Dash was a cast mate during the first season, but left the show after rumors circulated regarding drama behind-the-scenes. Denise Vasi replaced her in Season 2.

Although the show has whipped out its share of drama and plot twists, the current season is pulling in the same 2.2 million viewers as the last. The show was a production of Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit Entertainment.  We hope VH1 works with the company again on future projects.

It’s always sad to see scripted-series go, but according to the Hollywood Reporter, VH1 recently picked up its third scripted series Hindsight, and renewed the basketball cheerleading series Hit The Floor for a second season in July
The Single Ladies series finale will air March 24 9/8c.

Will you miss the show or do you think it’s seen better days?

Taraji P. Henson to Host BET’s 14th ‘Celebration of Gospel’
*There’s a new gospel sheriff in town!
Taraji P. Henson is taking over as host of BET’s “Celebration of Gospel.”
Steve Harvey‘s 13-year run as host has come to an end.
But not to worry, Henson has the heart, spirit and personality to take over hosting the annual celebration.

“I am thrilled to join the BET “Celebration of Gospel” family.  I look forward to a great evening of incredible music and continuing the rich history of BET and gospel music which started 14 years ago hosted by the talented and very funny Steve Harvey,” she said.
This year’s ceremony will be packed with performances and appearances — including duets by Donnie McClurkin and Tye Tribbett; Lalah Hathaway and Zacardi Cortez; and Chante Moore and Vashawn Mitchell.

More spiritual performances include Yolanda Adams, Erica Campbell, Hezekiah Walker, Tamela Mann, Tasha Cobbs, Detrick Haddon and J.J. Hairston.

“Sunday’s Best” winner Tasha Page-Lockhart and “American Idol” Candice Glover will also be performing.
“Since its’ inception, ‘Celebration of Gospel’ has brought together the best voices from both the secular and gospel music worlds to give praise like only they can,” said President of Music Programming & Specials, Stephen Hill for BET Networks. “This year is no exception because at the end of the day, everyone’s roots are in gospel music.  A gathering of powerful singers like these on one show can only happen on BET.”

The celebration will tape on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 7 p.m./PST at the Orpheum Theater in Los AngelesCA, and will premiere on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 8 p.m./EST.

Nas' Child's Mother Calls Him A "Repeat Criminal Non Supporter", Says She's Owed $11K
Though Nas' daughter Destiny is 19-years-old, his baby momma Carmen Bryan says she's still owed $11K and Nas is a "criminal" deadbeat dad.  Get the deets on their latest legal battle and listen to Dawn Richard's remix of Katy Perry's Dark Horse.
For the fellas who think 'baby mama' drama ends once the child reaches 18-years-old...think again.  Carmen Bryan, the mother of Nas's 19-year-old daughter Destiny Jones, has filed legal docs claiming Nas owes her more than $11K in back child support and claims that he refuses to pay Destiny's college tuition and medical bills.

She brands him a "repeat criminal non supporter" and asked the judge to cite him for contempt (and maybe throw him in jail). Goodness!

But Destiny surely seems to be all about her Daddy.  She's often seen right by his side at events and tweeting about spending QT with him.  And really, $11,000 for Nas is not a drastic amount.  Is it possible that someone just found a technicality or easibly rectified error and is trying to make someone else look bad by filing papers for it...instead of simply bringing it to his attention?

Pernell “Sweet Pea” Whitaker Calls Mom’s Eviction ‘A Beautiful Moment’
*What’s that line in the Prince song? “In this life, you on your own!”
Well, the 73-year-old mother of former welterweight boxing champ Pernell “Sweet Pea” Whitaker found that out recently when her son won a court fight that enabled him to evict her from the home he had gifted to her 30 years earlier.

But wait, there’s more.
When a reporter ran up to Whitaker following his victory in court, saying how terrible the day must be for him, did Whitaker hold his head down in shame and say, yes it is?
Think again.
He actually responded by describing his court victory as a “beautiful moment.”
“Sweet Pea” was once a celebrated millionaire boxer and 1985 Olympic gold medalist, but now he is struggling to pay his bills and so, in an “everything must go!” kind of move, he decided to sell the house, according to his lawyer.
Whitaker, over the years, fell from grace and solvency via drug abuse, a history of arrests, and run-ins with law. But his final falling out with his family came to an ugly end in a Virginia court on Wednesday.

The court ruled that Whitaker’s 73-year-old mother, Novella Whitaker, must vacate the house by March 31.
The former boxer had been going head to head against the matriarch of his seven-child family since last fall when he began eviction proceedings after unsuccessfully trying to convince his mother to move, his lawyer, Bruce Gould told ABC News.

Rihanna Shows No "Fear" at Vivienne Westwood Show During Paris Fashion Week
Making quite a statement with her ensemble, Rihanna attended the Vivienne Westwood show during Paris Fashion Week
The "Diamonds" singer wore a black leather coat, a black beanie with animal ears on it, and a white fur boa with the word "FEAR" on it.
Though we don't yet have an explanation for the bizarre outfit, this is the second time she's attracted attention away from the runway this week.
At the Balmain fashion show after-party, Ri-Ri sported a see-through fishnet top without a brassiere.

AND FINALLY FROM THE CRAZY PEOPLE SHOPPING AT WALMART FILES
