Homer Simpson Crashes Ellen DeGeneres Oscar Selfie: Check It Out!
He’s one of the most beloved cartoon characters of his generation, and Homer Simpson managed to ‘Simpsonize’ that famous celebrity-rich selfie from Ellen DeGeneres at the Oscars.
Thanks to the artists over at the hit FOX show “The Simpsons,” we can now see what Jennifer Lawrence, Lupita Nyong’o, Jared Leto, Bradley Cooper, Kevin Spacey, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Meryl Streep would look like if they were from Springfield.
And as is usually the case, Homer got the shaft and didn’t make it into the actual shot due to a deftly-placed foot from Cooper.
Check out the Simpsons-style shot. DeGeneres’ original photo ended up garnering $3 million in charity donations from Samsung!

In the four years since she released the Fleshtone album, Kelis has made "peace" with ex-husband Nas, launched a cooking show "Saucy & Sweet" and recorded a new album, aptly entitled FOOD (due April 22th).
In the latest edition of The Guardian, she reflects on where her music has been and where it's headed (possibly retirement), being "labeled" an R&B girl and moving on after divorce. Here are the highlights:
On Nas and discussing their divorce: "I’ve been divorced for almost five years; it’s over, I’m over it. But what I would say is that last year I was made more aware of it because my ex-husband decided to talk about stuff that I hadn’t shared with the world. He slipped my wedding dress on to his album cover [2012's Life Is Good], so now I have to talk about it! I had no idea it was happening, I was like, ‘What the…?’ But it didn’t affect my life. I’m not living that life now. I’m super-content and at peace."
On recording music: "I might make another album. I might make 10 more albums. I might never make another album again. It depends on how the mood suits me. I’m not declaring retirement but I’m just saying that I don’t have any musical ambitions any more."
On R&B: "I was never an R&B artist. People coined me one but that’s because, especially if you’re in the States, if you’re black and you sing, then you’re R&B."

Kentucky Church Gives Away Guns & Steaks To Lure In "Unchurched Men"
The state of Kentucky will most likely always be as red and "redneck" as they come, no matter how many federal liberal laws are injected into their way of life.
The Lone Oak First Baptist Church is giving away guns and steaks in exchange for the general public's confessions to take Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
Chuck McAlister, the Kentucky Baptist Convention's evangelism leader is showing how much of a religious hillbilly he can be with the tactic to lure in "unchurched men" into their congregation that also align's with the land of Blue Grass's favoritism towards the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution.

McAlister calls it “affinity evangelism”—identifying a target group, figuring out their common interest or needs, and using that as a bridge to share the gospel.
The guns used during the KBC celebrations are donated by local businesses. Winners get to pose for a photograph with their new weapons during the dinners. The guns are then taken away and held at a local gun shop until their owners can pass a federal background check.
McAlister said he understood how some people might take offense at the KBC's methods. He emphasized that the churches don't advocate gun violence.
“We are advocating guns for hunting and protection only,” he said.
The former pastor also shot a :30 spot advertising his Second Amendment Celebration," complete with banjos and fiddles strumming away to serve as the commercial's music.
Unsurprisingly, fellow Kentucky clergymen such as Rev. Joe Phelps of Louisville's Highland Baptist Church and Nancy Jo Kemper, pastor of New Union Church in Versailles think the event is pure sanctified struggle.

Tichina Arnold, Mekhi Phifer & More To Star In Lifetime's “A Day Late And A Dollar Short”
Academy Award and Golden Globe winner Whoopi Goldberg and Golden Globe winner Ving Rhames will lead the cast of a new Lifetime original movie titled A Day Late And A Dollar Short.
Tichina Arnold (Everybody Hates Chris), Kimberly Elise (Diary of a Mad Black Woman), Mekhi Phifer (Dawn of the Dead), and Anika Noni Rose (Dreamgirls) will join Whoopi and Ving for the adaptation of author Terry McMillan’s New York Times bestseller.
The flick will explore the importance of family and forgiveness as a sickly mother tries to help her dysfunctional family through life’s ups and downs. Teen pregnancy, sibling rivalry and drug addiction are some of the issues the mother must overcome to bring her family together.
Mekhi, Tichina and Candian actor Lyriq Bent have already shared lots of pics from the set.
Ving Rhames will play the father and husband of Whoopi's character in the movie.
And it looks like they cut up on the set. Tichina Instagram'd, "Me & #whoopigoldberg goofin off after a scene in her new flick..and I thought I was a nut. She got me beat. Lmao!" Ha!

NY Gang Members Get Themselves Caught Up After Posting Pictures Facebook
Welcome to this episode of World’s Dumbest Criminals. Ten alleged members of New York’s feared “280″ gang have were arrested on conspiracy and murder charges after NYPD found evidence the men posted on FaceBook.
The Daily Mail reports:
The 10 alleged members of the city’s ’280′ gang were arrested on Friday by NYPD officers on conspiracy murder charges.
The men arrested are understood to be the highest-ranking members of the gang including ‘gang leader’ Diamond Brown, and ‘top lieutenants’ Jesus Perez, and Guess Carter.
Police tracked their activities through the social media site and discovered photos of the men holding stacks of money and pictures of new cars.
Text messages between gang members were also intercepted, an NYPD source told gothamist.
The ’280′ crew primarily operates from the Morrisania area of the Bronx and were rivals with ‘Dub City,’ many members of which were arrested in 2012 while armed with antique guns.
These are among four gangs in the area targeted by police who believe they are connected to 34 shooting incidents in which 43 people were shot.
Special Narcotics Prosecutor Bridget Brennan said in a statement: ‘Reckless, wanton shootings detailed in the indictment forced innocent bystanders to take cover and neighborhoods to conduct daily business in great fear for their safety and security.
‘Targeting drug gangs involved in violence has significantly diminished shootings in these neighborhoods.’

Lionsgate Films and Tyler Perry End Relationship
I am truly surprised about this little bit of news, Lionsgate did not renew their contract with Mr. Tyler Perry ho has been associated with the studio since the release of 2005′s Diary of a Mad Black Woman, which Perry wrote, produced and starred in as his popular Madea character. Lionsgate’s success with Hunger Games put a nail in Tyler’s coffin.
His last contract was renewed in 2011, but ended in December of 2013, he is closing his film studio in LA and consolidating its operations at his Atlanta, Georgia, headquarters. Some loss of jobs is expected, although Matt Moore, executive vp of 34th Street is staying on, according to sources. Before they part ways they still have to drop the movie, Single Moms Club starring Nia Long, Terry Crews and of course Tyler himself.
It will debut March 14th! Perry’s last release through Lionsgate, Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas was released in December and grossed $52.5 million domestically, which is a fairly typically box office take for one of the filmmaker’s features.
