NeNe Leakes: I’m On The Mend!
She’s been laid up with some serious health issues as of late, and thankfully Nene Leakes is now on the upswing.
In a new interview with E! News, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star revealed that after doctors found blood clots in her lungs she knew she had a tough road ahead.
Leakes noted, "I'm not 100 percent, but I'm trying to get there. It's been tough, but I've been pretty strong. I'm coming back."
"It takes about six weeks to really get back to feeling yourself, but I'm on blood thinners now. I would have to say I'm about 80 percent. I'm doing a lot better,” she added.
As for what she’s getting for Christmas, NeNe shared, "I'd like to find my dream home, but I'm sure it won't come by Christmas. It's the only gift on my list. I'm going to have my dream home in Atlanta and then I will always have a condo in Los Angeles because I'm always there. I'm always working."
And of course, Ms. Leakes is grateful for her improved health- "I'm thankful to be alive as the doctor advised me that most people don't recognize the symptoms of blood clots and don't go to the doctor and that's when the big problems start happening. Contrary to published reports I did not have a heart attack."
GIVING BACK: Tyga Brings GIFTS To 60 Teens At L.A. Children's Hospital, Makes Super Fan's Dream Come True
Tyga made a surprise visit to the Children's Center for Cancer & Blood Diseases at Children's Hospital in Los Angeles where he made the dream of super fan, Isael Gomez (shown atop) come true.
When Tyga found out that one of Isael's dreams was to meet him in person, he made a special trip to the center to offer holiday cheer and encouragement. Also, 16-year-old Isael (20 surgeries since he was a baby; dialysis 3 times a week) needs a kidney transplant and Tyga's visit was part of a campaign to help find a donor.
Speaking about his music idol, Isael said Tyga is a "good singer and also inspired me to write and compose music, but most of all because he is a good person to his fans".
Tyga spent the entire day visiting with Isael and fifty-nine other patients dealing with serious health challenges.
While speaking about his time at the center, the LA native said, "It’s important to support nonprofit organizations like Children’s Hospital Los Angeles—they take incredible care of our community, so I am honored to help make a difference for these children who are from the city I grew up in and to help encourage them and to bring a smile to their faces."
While making his rounds, Tyga gifted each patient with Flips Audio Headphone X speakers, Music Bullet Speakers (to bring the joy of music to each child's hospital room), Flipeez Action Hats, and clothing from his own company Last Kings.

Minta Adiddo sent Akua Agyeman a Christmas card as she was being treated in hospital, blaming the attack on ‘devils’, the Old Bailey heard. The 32-year-old mother of two died two months after the brutal stabbing, which was witnessed by her five-year-old daughter.
Adiddo, 38, was given a life sentence after being convicted of murder, with a minimum term of 17 years. The Sainsbury’s worker from Enfield, North London, had pleaded guilty to manslaughter, although he denied murder. The court heard he suspected his wife was having an affair with their neighbor Oledapo Etti-Williams in October 2012.
Mr. Etti-Williams denied it, but said they exchanged three to four ‘sometimes flirtatious’ texts a day – and phone records showed they had sometimes sent as many as 80 messages in one day. On November 5, Adiddo stabbed his wife with a large kitchen knife in their bedroom while their one-year-old daughter slept in a cot next to them.
Ms. Agyeman managed to escape through the living room window, waking neighbors with her screams. But her husband chased her down and stabbed her again in the street as she lay on the ground, leaving her with 15 separate stab wounds. When he realized she still wasn’t dead he got in his car and tried to run her over, almost ploughing into shocked witnesses who were tending to her.
Ms. Agyeman’s last words as she lay injured were to ask if her children were all right.
She fought for her life in a hospital for nearly two months, but she was so badly injured that she would have been permanently paralyzed if she had survived. Adiddo fled the scene but was arrested after police spotted him driving his car the next day still wearing his blood-stained shirt. In a phone call to a relative he admitted stabbing his wife and said he planned to kill himself before police caught up with him.
When Ms. Agyeman was in the the Royal London Hospital, Adiddo sent her a Christmas card comparing his behavior to ‘Satan’ and ‘devils’. ‘I know the devil used Williams to destroy our family,’ he wrote. ‘Please, please, please, I need forgiveness from you – open yourself to God.’
In victim impact statements read to the court, Ms. Agyeman’s family said the ‘vibrant, sociable and intelligent’ 32-year-old was ‘irreplaceable.’ The judge heard her relatives in Ghana were now struggling financially without her support.
They said they had accepted Adiddo as a son and treated him with respect and dignity ‘but all he has done is inflict pain and suffering on our family’.
The court heard her two daughters are now being cared for by relatives but the family are ‘forever saddened’ she won’t get to see them grow up.

DAMN SHAME! 1 Year Later Michael Clarke Duncan Still In Unmarked Grave While Family Fights With
The actor — who died in September 2012 at age 54 — doesn’t have a tombstone, because of ridiculous drama between his family and former fiancee, Omarosa Manigault.
The fight is over a bronze plaque for Duncan’s vault at Forest Lawn Cemetery in L.A. There’s no plaque at all — it hasn’t even been ordered — even though it’s already been paid for as it was included in Michael’s funeral bill.

A source close to Omarosa says she had planned to order a plaque inscribed with Michael’s name and the date of his birth and death, but was blocked by his family because they wanted to handle it.
But friends of Duncan’s family tell us the opposite is true and that Omarosa is the problem. They claim she identified herself as MCD’s “wife” on the cemetery paperwork and promised to order the inscription — but never did.
One family friend said the situation is outrageous and shameful, especially since Michael’s mother is 95 years old and in poor health and would like her son to finally rest in peace.
