2013 MTV EMAs: The Show, The Winners
Making for a truly incredible evening, the 2013 MTV Europe Music Awards went off without a hitch in Amsterdam's Ziggo Arena over the weekend.
"Part Rock" jammer Redfoo hosted the night's events, which included performances from Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and Eminem.
As for the winners, Miss Cyrus took home the biggest honor winning Best Video with her hit "Wrecking Ball."
Meanwhile, Justin Bieber and Miss Perry took home the prize for Best Male and Female artists, respectively.

Miley Cyrus Smokes A Joint On Stage At The MTV EMA’s
The 20-year-old singer Miley Cyrus sparks new controversy by lighting up a JOINT as she accepts an award at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
Marijuana is not legal in the Netherlands, but smokers can’t be prosecuted for possession of small amounts and it is sold openly in cafes known euphemistically as “coffee shops.”

Cyrus, who long ago shed her image of innocence as the child star of Hannah Montana, has made no secret of her appreciation of Amsterdam’s attractions, arriving the Friday before the show and hanging out at the Greenhouse coffee shop downtown with several other stars.
And for those curious, Cyrus did once again twerk during her performance of “We Can’t Stop.
Usher Sued For Confessions Single
First Teddy Riley felt like he got shorted by Lady Gaga and then Jay Z was called out for a sample stemming from 2009. Now it's Usher's turn to be grilled in the hotseat of music industry law.
According to a group of supposed songwriters, Usher stole the song, "Caught Up," from the Grammy Award-winning album Confessions.

Usher recorded a song 2 years later called "Caught Up" ... also about a man lost in love. It skyrocketed on the charts and was featured in his album, "Confessions."
The 3 guys -- Zacharia Edwards, Mitch Moses and Vince McClean -- claim they played it for a honcho at Arista Records -- Usher's label -- and the dude then played it for LA Reid. The 3 guys never heard from Arista again, but 2 years later they heard the song on the radio.
Producer Just Blaze was the artist behind the single but there were nothing indicating him being named in the suit. Usher has been in and out of the courtroom this year, albeit not for anything music-related.
It's understandable that proper legal counsel may take time to calculate but it may be hard for a judge to believe it took these guys nearly a decade to get their story straight.
Floyd Mayweather Jr, Writing A Book
Floyd Mayweather, world famous boxing champion and president of The Money Team is trying his hand as an author. Mayweather took to social media to make the announcement on his new venture, his book!
Possibly a tell-all about his success, his life as an athlete, all the millions, fast cars and faster women. Money-making Mayweather didn’t give too much information on his upcoming project; I wonder will the boxing champion become a best selling author too? So stay tuned…

US Moves To Ban Trans Fats In Foods
US food safety officials have taken steps to ban the use of trans fats, saying they are a threat to health.
Trans fats, also known as partially hydrogenated oils, are no longer “generally recognised as safe“, said the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The regulator said a ban could prevent 7,000 deaths and 20,000 heart attacks in the US each year.
The FDA is opening a 60-day consultation period on the plan, which would gradually phase out trans fats.
“While consumption of potentially harmful artificial trans fat has declined over the last two decades in the United States, current intake remains a significant public health concern,” FDA Commissioner Margaret Hamburg said in a statement.
“The FDA’s action today is an important step toward protecting more Americans from the potential dangers of trans fat.”
‘Industrially produced ingredient’
If the agency’s plan is successful, the heart-clogging oils would be considered food additives and could not be used in food unless officially approved.
The ruling does not affect foods with naturally occurring trans fats, which are present in small amounts in certain meat and dairy products.
Artificial trans fats are used both in processed food and in restaurants as a way to improve the shelf life or flavour of foods. The fats are created when hydrogen is added to vegetable oil, making it a solid.
Nutritionists have long criticised their use, saying they contribute to heart disease more than saturated fat.
Some companies have already phased out trans fats, prompted by new nutritional labels introduced in 2006 requiring it to be listed on food packaging.
New York City and some other local governments have also banned it.
But trans fats persist primarily in processed foods – including some microwave popcorns and frozen pizzas – and in restaurants that use the oils for frying.
According to the FDA, trans fat intake among Americans declined from 4.6g per day in 2003 to around 1g per day in 2012.
The American Heart Association said the FDA’s proposal was a step forward in the battle against heart disease.
“We commend the FDA for responding to the numerous concerns and evidence submitted over the years about the dangers of this industrially produced ingredient,” said its chief executive, Nancy Brown.
Outgoing New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who led the charge to ban trans fats in that city, said the FDA plan “deserves great credit”.
“The groundbreaking public health policies we have adopted here in New York City have become a model for the nation for one reason: they’ve worked,” he said.
Judge In NY Rejects DMX Bankruptcy Filing
This man can’t win for losing, he just got arrested this past week for driving with a suspended license and now a Federal Judge in New York has tossed out DMX’s Bankruptcy Chapter 11 claim, leaving him as fair game to these creditors.The judge’s move means he could lose his possessions including his share in a home in suburban Mount Kisko.
Real name Earl Simmons biggest expense is his back child support for $1.3 Million owed to some of the 10 children he has fathered. U.S. Trustee Tracy Hope Davis said Simmons failed to provide trustworthy information in his bankruptcy filing. I could of sworn he lied about some of his assets, so this would come as no surprise… You can never win when you’re not right within. Apparently he has another baby on the way, so it will make 11 children. It’s ashame men like that stay pro creating when they don’t have their ish together.
Chief Keef Is Headed To Drug Rehab
The good news is Chief Keef is out of jail—he was released on Friday, November 8, a couple of days after being jailed for failed drug tests. The bad news is the Chicago rapper is heading to drug rehab—for weed.
Reports TMZ:
Chief Keef's a free man again ... sorta ... TMZ has learned he's been released from jail in Chicago and is supposed to check into rehab in California for his weed problems.
As TMZ reported … the 18-year-old rapper had been on probation for speeding ... but landed back in court this week after testing positive for marijuana on three random drug tests.
A Chicago judge ordered Keef to rehab ... 'cause he clearly can't stop smoking bud. But ... there's still the matter of his community service ... which he'll begin serving in Chicago after he finishes his stint at the California facility.
Keef's lawyer tells us... Chief left jail around 2:15 P.M. CST today … and his lawyer tells us he'll arrive in LA either tomorrow or Sunday.
Keef was released on Friday, November 8. The judge that ordered Sosa to undergo random drug testing clearly either just wanted to put him in jail, or has a bugged out sense of humor.
Judging from the "Don't Like" rapper's Instagram account he smokes daily and forgive us for thinking he's not sophisticated enough to figure out how to deceive a drug test.

At the 10th Annual Black Ball, Swizz Beatz and Egypt hit the carpet with mom and wife Alicia Keys to support her huge cause.
The Keep A Child Alive organization--who hosts this annual ball--is dedicated to providing life-saving HIV treatment, care, nutritious food, support services and love to children and families affected by HIV in Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Uganda and India.
So celebs came out in a few fabulous looks to support the cause.
Alicia rocked a red hot cut-out gown fo her big night.
Hot couple Grant Hill (now co-host of NBA "Inside Stuff") & Tamia showed up looking great.
Pharrell, in a sleek Lanvin tuxedo, got cutesy with his new wife Helen on the carpet.
LaLa Anthony rocked a black lace gown for a nice Fall look.

Is Keyshia Cole Spotted Partying With Another Man?

The photo above certainly caught our attention. It’s singer Keyshia Cole partying it up, alongside a handsome gentleman at Atlanta’s Vanquish night club. So what’s the big deal? Nothing too apparent here, but for the past year, there’s been rumblings that there’s trouble in paradise, concerning her marriage to NBA baller Daniel ‘Boobie’ Gibson. A few months ago, when rumors hit that Boobie was cheating on his wife of two years, he blasted outlets for reporting lies and denied any wrong doing:
And just last month, all seemed to be well with the couple as they celebrated Keyshia’s birthday in LA together (although Keyshia was ringless) and Boobie gave her a lavish birthday gift. But rumblings from outside and inside the couple’s circle continues. And last night, while Keyshia party’ed alongside a mystery man, it fueled rumors that perhaps things aren’t looking so bright for Mr. and Mrs. Gibson. Celine Dion Death Hoax On Facebook
Depending upon the hoax Facebook post you read, singer Celine Dion has died in a car crash or a plane crash.
The reports are not true and Dion says they are making her a little mad.
“Sometimes it’s freaky because I have to call my family about it,” she told Digital Spy. “I was celebrating the birthday of my twins in Montreal and I was getting these phone calls saying there was stuff on Facebook that I was dead.”
One story claimed that she had died in a car crash, while another stated it was a plane crash.
The Facebook posts link to a rogue Facebook app that Facebook has been shutting down as it gets reports of it. Some of the posts bear well-known news logos to entice people to click. Do not click on any Facebook post that links to the purported story of her death.
