Kerry Washington Covers ‘Flare’ Magazine
Can we say “Cover Queen”? Kerry Washington is owning the magazine cover game lately! Her decision to create her fashionable alter ego “red-carpet Kerry” is paying off.
In all of her polka dot glory, she’s making a statement that this coming fall will be a bright and colorful one, as she rocks a baby pink $2,585 Miu Miu trench coat for the cover of Flare Magazine. The thigh-high stockings, trench coat and fierce pump combination borders the line of runway style, and how you would show up at your man’s door on a spontaneous night.

For the recent shoot, she previewed various looks for the fall, which included thigh-high stockings, feathered skirts, and plaid.

Peep more of Kerry’s classy meets sexy photo spread below:
In the recent issue of Glamour Magazine, Kerry revealed:
OK, I’m going to admit this: There were a couple of actresses whom I felt were having the upper hand career-wise — because they knew how to work that red carpet. I was like, ‘I’m missing a really important tool. If I am the CEO of the Kerry Washington Corporation, my marketing department is really lax.’ So I sort of developed a new character: Red-Carpet Kerry.

Since creating her alter ego, she’s covered fashion and beauty magazines like Elle, Glamour and Vanity Fair. Is Vogue next?

Mayor Bloomberg Calls Bill de Blasio's Campaign "Racist"
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg probably wishes he could take this comment back. In a recent interview, Bloomberg stated that mayoral candidate and NYC Public Advocate Bill de Blasio's campaign is "racist."
The surely soon to be ex-mayor of New York made the statement in a lengthy interview with New York magazine.
Then there's Bill de Blasio, who's become the Democratic front-runner. He has in some ways been running a class-warfare campaign—
Class-warfare and racist.
Racist?

Well, no, no, I mean* he's making an appeal using his family to gain support. I think it's pretty obvious to anyone watching what he's been doing. I do not think he himself is racist. It's comparable to me pointing out I'm Jewish in attracting the Jewish vote. You tailor messages to your audiences and address issues you think your audience cares about.
But his whole campaign is that there are two different cities here. And I've never liked that kind of division. The way to help those who are less fortunate is, number one, to attract more very fortunate people. They are the ones that pay the bills. The people that would get very badly hurt here if you drive out the very wealthy are the people he professes to try to help. Tearing people apart with this “two cities” thing doesn't make any sense to me. It's a destructive strategy for those you want to help the most. He's a very populist, very left-wing guy, but this city is not two groups, and if to some extent it is, it's one group paying for services for the other.
It's a shame, because I've always thought he was a very smart guy.

Yes, this accusation of racism comes from the same person doing his best to maintain the NYPD's stop and frisk policy, which a federal judge recently declared was unconstitutional. It's a policy that has created—much like he accuses de Blasio of manipulating—two cities;  those in favor and against it.
Bloomberg also basically says that de Blasio showing off his Black wife, who he married 20 years ago, and interracial family is racist. It also worth noting that Bloomberg made sure to "point out" his Jewish heritage during past campaigns, as highlighted by Buzzfeed.
Bill de Blasio, and his family, responded to the Mayor's comments. Reports the New York Daily News:
"I'm exceedingly proud of my family," de Blasio said with wife Chirlane McCray and daughter Chiara at his side Saturday. "They are each and every one strong and independent and make their own decisions. And we all have proceeded as a family together, and it's been an extraordinarily positive experience for us. So all I can say is I hope the mayor will reconsider what he said. I hope he'll realize that it was inappropriate. And I think the people of this city are ready for us to move forward together."
"Do I look like an inanimate object or a tool?" McCray asked when de Blasio fielded a question about using the family as a prop, according to Fermino. "I walk, I talk, I make my own decisions."
Said Chiara: "Everything I do for the campaign is my decision. And I think that, or at least I suspect... 20 years ago my dad did not know he was running for mayor and he did not seek to marry a black woman to put her on display."
Sounds like Bloomberg just gave de Blasio, who is already beating rivals Christine Quinn and Bill Thompson in the polls, even more votes.

Bad Boy Recording Artists, ‘Day 26′ To Reunite, Replacing Qwanell “Q” Mosley !
Rumor has it Bad Boy recording artist and group Day 26 are reuniting! Following the reunion of their female counterpart, Danity Kane, the fellas didn’t want to be left out.

If you all remember, the male group, comprised of Qwanell “Q” Mosley, Robert Curry, Brian Andrews, Willie Taylor, and Michael McCluney, were formed following season 4 of Diddy’s “Making The Band”, back in 2007.

Unfortunately, we now know, “Q”, will not be reuniting with the group. In fact, the singer has been actively pursuing a solo career since 2010. He now goes by the name “Anthony Q”.

But here’s the catch, the group has already recruited a new member, we’ve learned, is also a nemesis to Mosley. An insider tells us, not only won’t Mosley be returning, he’ll be replaced by the same man responsible for his break-up with Danity Kane member and ex-girlfriend, Dawn Richard.
The man in question is, DeAngelo Redman. The source reveals, “Q will be replaced with DeAngelo Redman, who was the previous runner-up for “Day 26”. From P-Diddy Making the Band!!”

“DeAngelo Redman was the cause of the break-up between Dawn from “Danity Kane” and Q…,” the source adds. “I heard the three of them were chummy, but DeAngelo and Dawn, took it a step further behind Q’s back and they had hooked up a few times leaving Q in the dark and out in the cold!”

Lil Wayne Says His Mother Convinced Him To Drop Out of High School, Confesses He Was Abusing Syrup
On her second season of daytime talk, Katie Couric snagged an exclusive interview with rapper/rockstar, Lil Wayne. If you’ve followed the 32-year-old rapper’s career, then you know that earlier this year, the New Orleans bred artist had a series of alarming seizures. One of the seizures landed him in a  Los Angeles hospital. Initially, when he was released members of his camp told the press and inquiring minds that the cause of the seizures were because of his extensive work schedule. But during his conversation with Couric, Wayne publicly admits that he had to cut out the drug referred to as ‘syrup’:

I’m an excessive person. And everything I do is, I kinda do it abundantly…And I was doing it too much. And the doctor kinda told me, ‘We can’t tell you what to do. You’ve built everything around you. The only person that probably can tell you what to do is your mom. Everyone else around here, kinda works for you. You know so all we can do is suggest, but I suggest that your mom tell you to stop.’

Tunechi also opened up about whether or not he regrets dropping out of high school. And although he encourages his own children to complete school, he explains why it was one of the best decisions he’s ever made and how his mother convinced him to drop out.
Not at all. I mean, kids please finish high school. All my kids, You are finishing high school. But my mom. It was my mom’s idea. I had an album out, I was platinum already and I was still trying to get ready for public school. And she saw me getting ready for school one day…..I never forget she was on the phone and she was on the phone with somebody. She walked past my room. She saw me putting my gun in my bag pack and she said ‘You gotta bring that to school with you?…I said, ‘You don’t want me to bring it?’ She looked…she thought about it, she said, ‘I do.’ She bought it for me, for protection..She walked back to my room and said, ‘You don’t go to school no more; you getting a GED. If that’s the way you gotta go to school, you on TV right now.’ She like tell Baby and ‘nem you getting your GED’. So I got my GED and I went to college.

Interesting………….
