Trailer For The Upcoming Princess Diana Movie
Naomi Watts is playing the beautiful Diana the minute-long trailer does her no favors: She’s not even seen head-on until halfway through. Until then, Diana is seen from nearly every other angle — back, above, partially shot while sliding into a car. Her hair is appropriately period-fluffy, her dresses regal and tailored. She’s on the red carpet, she’s thronged by crowds and photographers, she’s wearing a helmet with a Red Cross symbol on it, she’s running.

She was genuine and altruistic, kind, sincere and spontaneous without being spoiled or snob. She had quite a sad life but she persisted in helping children and people afflicted by disease like HIV, leprosy or the ones who lived in the street: her visits, her touch, her smile, her warm words were like a medicine for those people. Her partecipation to ban landmines from the world leaded many countries to sign the Ottawa Treaty: all these qualities made her the princess the world still love.

Oprah’s Big Gift!!! Smithsonian Announces $12 Million Gift from Oprah Winfrey to the National Museum of African American History and Culture
The Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture announced that Oprah Winfrey will donate $12 million to support the capital campaign of the new museum. Combined with her $1 million gift in 2007, this brings Winfrey’s total contribution to $13 million, the museum’s largest donation to date. Winfrey, chairman and CEO of OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network, has been a member of the museum’s advisory council since 2004.

In recognition of her generous gift, the museum’s theater will be named the Oprah Winfrey Theater. One of the largest spaces in the museum, the 350-seat theater will be a forum in the nation’s capital for performers, artists, educators, scholars, authors, musicians, filmmakers and opinion leaders. The theater’s programs will enable audiences to gain a broader understanding of how African American history and culture shape and enrich the country and the world.
Winfrey’s gift marks a significant milestone in the museum’s fundraising campaign. Design, construction and exhibitions are expected to cost $500 million, half provided by congressional funding and the remainder raised by the museum. Currently under construction on a five-acre site adjacent to the Washington Monument, the 19th Smithsonian museum is expected to open in late 2015.
“We are inspired and profoundly grateful for Ms. Winfrey’s generosity at this important time,” said Lonnie G. Bunch III, founding director of the museum. “Her gifts will forever be associated with harnessing the power of art and creative expression to build bridges between cultures and enrich people’s lives. Programming at the Oprah Winfrey Theater will mirror the museum’s commitment to use African American history and culture as a lens to see what it means to be an American and to help all Americans remember.”

“I am so proud of African American history and its contributions to our nation as a whole,” said Winfrey. “I am deeply appreciative of those who paved the path for me and all who follow in their footsteps. By investing in this museum, I want to help ensure that we both honor and preserve our culture and history, so that the stories of who we are will live on for generations to come.”
Winfrey is chairman and CEO of OWN, which develops original programming for TV and digital platforms. She is the founder of O, The Oprah Magazine and a channel on SiriusXM satellite radio. In addition, Winfrey is a leading philanthropist who has awarded hundreds of grants through her private philanthropy, The Oprah Winfrey Foundation.
“At its heart, the National Museum of African American History and Culture is a showcase for a richer, fuller picture of the American experience,” said Smithsonian Secretary Wayne Clough. “The Oprah Winfrey Theater will bring untold stories alive through films, live performances, artistic expression and public dialogue. The new theater’s designation could not be more fitting, as Ms. Winfrey’s name is synonymous with generosity, education, excellence and the arts.”

About the Museum
The National Museum of African American History and Culture was established as a Smithsonian museum by an Act of Congress in 2003. It will be the nation’s largest and most comprehensive cultural destination devoted exclusively to showcasing African American life, art, history and culture and the national place for visitors to fully appreciate the broader American story.

Tia Mowry Says People Bullied & Attacked Her For Being A Vegan
Actress and mother, Tia Mowry-Hardict gives us sexy vegan in PETA’s new campaign, “Let Veganism Grow On You.” Wearing a custom made lettuce apron while holding a freshly green stock of broccoli, Tia shows us that eating healthy has multiple benefits. The 34-year-old former star of BET’s,The Game and hubby Cory, adopted a plant based diet earlier this year. She explained:
I became a vegan and I was getting bullied on Twitter about it, and PETA reached out to me and said ‘girl we got your back.’ I wanted to become a voice for my community. I wanted to educate my culture about the benefits of becoming vegan. There’s a stigma about being vegan, some people say it doesn’t taste great.. Don’t knock it until you try it! The taste is vibrant, very satisfying. The more you learn about the benefits of becoming vegan, the more you become alive, and the more you become aware of why this is a really great decision to make.

Tia and sister Tamera Mowry-Housley, recently launched their herbal tea supplement, Milky! aimed at help new moms boosh the quality and quantity of their breast milk. Tia can also be seen on Nick at Nite’s new sitcom Instant Mom premiering later this year.

An Exclusive Look At ‘The Real Talk’ Show With Tamar Braxton, Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley
Last week, I confirmed the news about a new talk show, called ‘The Real’, was set to hit TV and now we have even more details. ”The Real” is led by five bold, diverse and outspoken hosts — Tamar Braxton, Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley.

We’ve checked out the promo for the show and hands down, their unique perspectives are brought to life through their candid conversations about topics ranging from their own personal lives to the news of the day to beauty, fashion and relationships.

Check out bios of the cast:

As a founding member of the R&B group The Braxtons, Tamar Braxton is a rising musical superstar, currently starring on WE’s reality TV program “Tamar & Vince,” a spinoff of WE’s successful series “Braxton Family Values.” Married five years to music executive Vince Herbert, the couple has welcomed their first child, a baby boy, this June. Tamar says:

A lot of people think, because they see me on ‘Braxton Family Values’ as the youngest of five sisters, that I’m this brat and I’m just spoiled, but on this show I get to be a woman. I get to give you my real opinion about life, about pop culture, and finally be identified as just a regular lady.

Raised in the projects of Detroit, comedian and actress Loni Love now brings her distinctive brand of stand-up to a wide audience.  She is a recurring panelist on “Chelsea Lately” and on “The Smoking Gun Presents: The World’s Dumbest,” her first book, “Love Him Or Leave Him,” a fresh and funny relationship book with hilarious advice for real women, will be released in July. Loni says:
The five of us, we are still trying to figure out our lives…What people are going to find out about me from this show is that I used to be an engineer, I was raised in the Brewster projects, I became an entertainer, and I am still discovering myself.

Originally from New York City, Adrienne Bailon always wanted to be a singer-songwriter, actress and dancer. She was a founding member and lead singer of the all-girls group, 3LW. After 3LW disbanded, Adrienne became the star of Disney’s “The Cheetah Girls.” Puerto Rican and Ecuadorian, Adrienne was proud to accept Latina Magazine’s 2012 award for “Latina Fashionista of the Year.” A contributor to both Style Network and BET, Adrienne is currently living in NYC. Adrienne says:
We are Latino Americans, we are mainstream, we speak English, and we want to be able to watch English language television that still represents us.

Jeannie Mai is best known for her hosting duties at Style Network’s two-time Emmy nominated program “How Do I Look?” She has a new weekly talk show, “Style Pop,” also on Style Network, which premiered June 6th. Jeannie can also currently be seen as the digital correspondent for the hit NBC show “Fashion Star.” She started her career as a celebrity makeup artist and stylist and is married to “The Hollywood Hunter” Freddy Harteis. Jeannie is Vietnamese and Chinese and frequently travels to Asia to volunteer with organizations, such as Heartbeat Vietnam and NightLight International. Jeannie says:
You know what really bothers me, the fact that there are so many Asian stereotypes that nobody has stepped forward to break…I have an amazing driving record, I haven’t had a ticket in the last five years, I can’t play the violin to save my life nor the keyboard, I suck at math and I’m proud…So how do you like them wontons?

Tamera Mowry-Housley teams up with her identical twin sister, Tia Mowry-Hardrict, in the #1 Style Network docu-series “Tia & Tamera,” which follows the fun, frenetic lives of the celebrity sisters as they embark on major life changes. Tamera became a household name as star of the hit ABC comedy “Sister, Sister” opposite sister Tia. Tamera married Fox News correspondent Adam Housley in May 2011 and is a new mother to son Aden. Tamera says:
I love to be traditional and just because you are conservative or a traditional person doesn’t mean you have to be boring! …The greatest thing about America is its diversity and this show reflects that  diversity. No matter who you are, there is someone at this table that will be speaking for you.And for what we’ve all been waiting for…the teaser!

Chad Ochocinco APOLOGIZES To JUDGE, Was RELEASED from County Jail!
In sports news, ex-NFL football star Chad Johnson was released from jail Monday, TMZ revealed. You'll recall that Chad slapped his lawyer's backside last week, and was given a 30-day sentence.
Chad apologized to Broward County Circuit Judge Kathleen McHugh (who extended his probation by one month and let him out of jail). According to the Associated Press, Chad told the judge,

"I just wanted to apologize for disrespecting the court last time. I apologize. I did have time to reflect on the mistakes I made in this courtroom."

Over the weekend Chad was visited by his former teammate Terrell Owens who tweeted,
"Just visited the homie @ochocinco. He's in good spirits, he needs a haircut already tho. Lol. He sends his best regards to everyone. That was the 1st time ever visiting someone in jail & hopefully the last. That's not a place anyone wants to be regardless of how many days."

We hope after this experience, we'll see a more subdued version of Chad Ochocinco

“Life With La Toya” was renewed along with the rest of the network’s Saturday night shows “Iyanla: Fix My Life” and “Raising Whitley.”
OWN president Erik Logan says the lineup is partly responsible for the “tremendous ratings growth” they’ve seen in the past year.

Jay-Z’s Rocawear Sued For $450,000
What is the problem?

it seems wholesale company iSource NYC is suing Jay-Z’s Rocawear clothing line for an unpaid bill of $450,000 – half of a million dollar order of branded goods delivered to NYC from Pakistan last April through June. None of the items were ever returned, and now the business is seeking the rest of the money as well as 9% in interest, bringing the grand total to $490,500.

But who still wears Rocawear though? Hopefully he can work this out and get back right I mean he spends this in a week , if not a day… So please this is nothing, but a big misunderstanding

Wale’s Assistant Shades Tiara Thomas on Twitter
As we all know Wale and Tiara Thomas have their hit single BAD that is playing on Radio and when Wale was interviewing with Power 105 he stated how she signed with Rico Love. Apparently that was a low blow for wale and he has been butt hurt ever since. I guess since he has to play the politically correct rapper his assistant aired her behind out via twitter.
Wale said this (not sure if it’s a subtweet but that’s all I could find on his timeline that seemed to be addressing it)
Then Tiara respomds
Wale is always in some drama regarding a female.
What a messy ASSistant! Something about Wale rubs me the wrong way. He just appears to be filled with a ton of bitchassness… Tiara obviously felt like the deal that was given to her by Interscope was better. If he’s still hurt by that, then he needs to go see a therapist. He knows the music business is filled with a ton of shady people.

OOOPS: Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Sister Says, ‘We Didn’t Even Know They Were Shooting A Movie’
Although its been more than 10 years since her fatal car accident, fans still mourn the death of member Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes of TLC. With filming wrapped on the group’s upcoming biopic, Lisa’s sister, Reigndrop Lopes and former personal assistant, Stephanie Dayton are speaking out about their unhappiness. In a recent interview, both women claim that they were not consulted about the movie–at all. Peep a few excerpts below:

Not being consulted for the TLC biopic:
[RDL]: We didn’t even know when they were shooting. The only way I found out was because a friend of mine was cast as an extra and flew down here, and I happened to go up there with her. We didn’t know anything at all. She [her and Left Eye's mom] was hurt, she was pissed off, and hurt more than anything, but it’s like what can we do? Legally, I don’t think we can do anything, but it’s just more morally, why wouldn’t you involve the family? We’re right here in Atlanta, and we’re open to being involved. And when you don’t reach out, it makes you wonder why, question why. We don’t know why.”

Thoughts on Lil Mama being cast as Left Eye in the biopic:
[RDL]Well number one, I would have liked to be told before the whole world knew. We found out online from the fans. My initial reaction was I was kind of in the middle. I didn’t know her to be an actor, and I didn’t know how well she would do portraying Lisa, so I really didn’t know how to feel. I actually got the chance to go up to the set one time, and I did see her doing some of her scenes, and it looked pretty good to me, and I was actually surprised. I told her that she was doing a good job.The last minute decision that put Left Eye behind the wheel before the accident that took her life:
I [SD] was in the driver’s seat getting ready to leave, and then she came and caught me as we were pulling off and told me she wanted me to take another vehicle and to run some errands and meet her later at a photo shoot. And that’s when she got behind the wheel, and drove that vehicle, and within moments, had passed.”

Left Eye’s relationship with her band mates Chili and T-Boz at the time of her death:
[SD]:I think as with any relationship between females, there’s going to be some tension in some areas because you’re dealing with conflicting personalities. So I think it’s like with any friendship or sisterhood, there were good things that happened, there were not-so-good things that happened. At that particular time, she was in the process of renegotiating the contract with TLC. So a lot of their communication was based on business, trying to hash out the contract.

[RDL]: I know for a fact she was in a good place with Tionne ’cause she went to see her before she left, but Chilli, I’m not sure. I just know that she never got a chance to see Chilli, or Chilli never got a chance to see Lisa before she left. I really don’t know what their last interaction was.
Chili and T-Boz are currently celebrating the group’s 20th anniversary, with a reunion album in the works, a rumored tour. The VH1 produced biopic starring Drew Sidora, Keke Palmer and Lil’ Mama will hit the network later this year.

Rita Ora Becomes New Face of Madonna’s Material Girl Fashion Line
Rita Ora is officially a Material Girl. The U.K. singer has inked a deal to become the new face of Madonna and her daughter Lourdes’ clothing line.
The 22-year-old Roc Nation signee shared her excitement on Twitter. “Joining forces with Madonna & Lola! It’s Official Ritabots – I’m the new face of @MaterialGirl. #thisisamoment for me #icon #mymuse #argghhhhh #yeeeeaaahhhhhhh #excited,” tweeted Rita.
The “R.I.P.” hitmaker follows in the footsteps of Taylor Momsen, Kelly Osbourne, and Georgia Jagger, and will model the ’80s-inspired teen line as part of a national campaign.

Love & Hip Hop New York Is Back To Filming!!!
Some time last month, it was being reported that the New York cast of Vh1's "Love & Hip Hop" walked out of what was supposed to be the filming of the new seasons trailer. The reason for the "walk out" was due to some cast members not showing up to the filming because they demanded more money in their contracts. The cast members that did show up to film got upset with production and walked off and did not return. This in turn put Vh1 and Mona Scott Young in a bind because filming was supposed to be underway.

Now, however, the New York cast is back to filming and want to know why? According to TMZ.com, Yandy Smith had this to say below:

Yandy Smith was out in NYC, she said that she’s signed her new deal and was more than pleased with the amount of coin VH1 coughed up. In fact, Smith said cameras were already rolling for season 4.
So there you have it folks! Business as usual, but if you want to know some inside gossip.......I heard folks are getting paid well over $20,000 per episode!! Now what say you?

Lookout Twitter, Facebook will now be using #hashtags!
Social network Facebook has introduced hashtags, allowing users to click and see what their firends think about trending topics.
Facebook said that it will begin to roll out the feature on its social network, making it easier for users and advertisers to find hot spots of user activity around specific events or topics.
The hashtag, which appears as the # symbol and was first popularized on Twitter, enables users to follow specific topics of conversation within a social network's ever-changing stream of user comments.

Facebook users will now be able to group comments on the same topic by typing the hashtag alongside a keyword - such as #election - at the end of a post.
The hashtag has proven to be a handy system for social networking users to join online conversations as events unfold in real-time, such as political debates, television shows and sports. And it provides an easy way for advertisers to reach a particular audience.
"Between 88 and 100 million Americans log in to Facebook every night during prime time TV hours, which represents a significant opportunity for broadcasters, advertisers and our other partners," Justin Osofsky, director, platform partnerships and operations at Facebook, said in a blog post. A recent episode of the Game of Thrones series on HBO generated 1.5 million mentions on Facebook, he said.
Until now, however, Facebook said in a separate blog post, its service lacked a "simple way to see the larger view of what's happening or what people are talking about."

Whether conversations about events on Facebook will have the same level of activity and comments as on Twitter is not clear. Unlike tweets, which are public and viewable to all users, most comments posted on Facebook are only viewable to a user's circle of friends.
The company said that hashtags were the first of several new features that will be introduced to highlight discussions about events on Facebook.
The company is rolling out hashtags to roughly 20 per cent of its users, with a full global launch expected in the coming weeks.

Although Facebook's own users have been using hashtags for some time, often as an addition to comments and status updates, they will now be able to click on the hashtagged words as a search term and view a feed of discussions relating to that topic.
The search bar at the top of the Facebook homepage will also allow users to look for hashtags, and hashtags on Facebook will also tie in to those from other services such as Instagram, Tumblr, Pinterest and Twitter.

Facebook's Greg Lindley wrote that "Every day, hundreds of millions of people use Facebook to share their thoughts on big moments happening all around them. Whether it’s talking about a favorite television show, cheering on a hometown sports team or engaging with friends during a breaking news event—people on Facebook connect with their friends about what’s taking place all over the world. To date, there has not been a simple way to see the larger view of what's happening or what people are talking about. To bring these conversations more to the forefront, we will be rolling out a series of features that surface some of the interesting discussions people are having about public events, people, and topics. As a first step, we are beginning to roll out hashtags on Facebook."

Analysts oberserved that Facebook's new move effectively piggy-backed on the success of existing Twitter marketing campaigns, with even the recent Eurovision Song Contest using a hashtag theme for its backstage coverage
