A Look At ‘The Real Talk’ Show With Tamar Braxton, Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley
Last week, I confirmed the news about a new talk show, called ‘The Real’, was set to hit TV and now we have even more details. ”The Real” is led by five bold, diverse and outspoken hosts — Tamar Braxton, Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley.

We’ve checked out the promo for the show and hands down, their unique perspectives are brought to life through their candid conversations about topics ranging from their own personal lives to the news of the day to beauty, fashion and relationships.

Check out bios of the cast:
As a founding member of the R&B group The Braxtons, Tamar Braxton is a rising musical superstar, currently starring on WE’s reality TV program “Tamar & Vince,” a spinoff of WE’s successful series “Braxton Family Values.” Married five years to music executive Vince Herbert, the couple has welcomed their first child, a baby boy, this June. Tamar says:

A lot of people think, because they see me on ‘Braxton Family Values’ as the youngest of five sisters, that I’m this brat and I’m just spoiled, but on this show I get to be a woman. I get to give you my real opinion about life, about pop culture, and finally be identified as just a regular lady.

Raised in the projects of Detroit, comedian and actress Loni Love now brings her distinctive brand of stand-up to a wide audience.  She is a recurring panelist on “Chelsea Lately” and on “The Smoking Gun Presents: The World’s Dumbest,” her first book, “Love Him Or Leave Him,” a fresh and funny relationship book with hilarious advice for real women, will be released in July. Loni says:
The five of us, we are still trying to figure out our lives…What people are going to find out about me from this show is that I used to be an engineer, I was raised in the Brewster projects, I became an entertainer, and I am still discovering myself.

Originally from New York City, Adrienne Bailon always wanted to be a singer-songwriter, actress and dancer. She was a founding member and lead singer of the all-girls group, 3LW. After 3LW disbanded, Adrienne became the star of Disney’s “The Cheetah Girls.” Puerto Rican and Ecuadorian, Adrienne was proud to accept Latina Magazine’s 2012 award for “Latina Fashionista of the Year.” A contributor to both Style Network and BET, Adrienne is currently living in NYC. Adrienne says:
We are Latino Americans, we are mainstream, we speak English, and we want to be able to watch English language television that still represents us.

Jeannie Mai is best known for her hosting duties at Style Network’s two-time Emmy nominated program “How Do I Look?” She has a new weekly talk show, “Style Pop,” also on Style Network, which premiered June 6th. Jeannie can also currently be seen as the digital correspondent for the hit NBC show “Fashion Star.” She started her career as a celebrity makeup artist and stylist and is married to “The Hollywood Hunter” Freddy Harteis. Jeannie is Vietnamese and Chinese and frequently travels to Asia to volunteer with organizations, such as Heartbeat Vietnam and NightLight International. Jeannie says:
You know what really bothers me, the fact that there are so many Asian stereotypes that nobody has stepped forward to break…I have an amazing driving record, I haven’t had a ticket in the last five years, I can’t play the violin to save my life nor the keyboard, I suck at math and I’m proud…So how do you like them wontons?

Tamera Mowry-Housley teams up with her identical twin sister, Tia Mowry-Hardrict, in the #1 Style Network docu-series “Tia & Tamera,” which follows the fun, frenetic lives of the celebrity sisters as they embark on major life changes. Tamera became a household name as star of the hit ABC comedy “Sister, Sister” opposite sister Tia. Tamera married Fox News correspondent Adam Housley in May 2011 and is a new mother to son Aden. Tamera says:
I love to be traditional and just because you are conservative or a traditional person doesn’t mean you have to be boring! …The greatest thing about America is its diversity and this show reflects that  diversity. No matter who you are, there is someone at this table that will be speaking for you.And for what we’ve all been waiting for…the teaser!
