Pat Robertson To Woman Whose Husband Cheated: ‘He’s A Man And Males Wander’

Romans 1:28: And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Pat Robertson is defending a man who cheated on his wife by saying, “well, he’s a man,” and adding that “males have a tendency to wander a little bit.” Robertson blamed pornography, and all but blamed the victim, saying, “you want to make the home so wonderful that he doesn’t want to wander.”

Robertson also told the woman that she’s focusing on the wrong parts of her marriage. “Does he provide a home for you to live in, does he provide food for you to eat, does he provide clothes for you to wear, is he nice to the children…is he handsome?”

In November, Robertson gave his blessing to the General David Petraeus — Paula Broadwell affair because the resigned-in-disgrace now-former CIA Director and retired four-star general is “a man.”

Robertson has claimed “the union of two men doesn’t bring forth anything except disease, apparently, and suffering, and the same thing with the union of two women,” and said homosexuality is an “obsession,” and “a compulsion,” and added, “I think it is somehow related to demonic possession.” He’s also labeled same-sex marriage an “abomination.”

OK now this must really be THE LAST DAYS. You mean to tell me this man is speaking this craziness and not ONE Man of God will CALL HIM OUT ON THIS? How can you be preaching an unadulterated word but give advice supporting adultery on a spouse?

But gay marriage is wrong? HMMMMM Well what’s the tea on this Lamech in Genesis 4:19: “Lamech married two women.” Several prominent men in the Old Testament were polygamists. Abraham, Jacob, David, Solomon, and others all had multiple wives. In 2 Samuel 12:8, God, speaking through the prophet Nathan, said that if David’s wives and concubines were not enough, He would have given David even more. Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines (essentially wives of a lower status), according to 1 Kings 11:3.
