Hosea Chanchez COVERS "SHEEN" Magazine's FIRST Men's Issue
The latest issue of SHEEN Magazine is all about the fellas with the magazine tapping "The Game" star Hosea Chanchez to grace the cover. Inside the issue, the 32-year-old actor opened up about the departure of former co-stars, Pooch Hall and Tia Mowry- Hardrict and his desire to produce his own work. He also revealed the type of woman he'd like to marry. Here are the highlights:
On producing his own works:
“Producing is something that I am diving myself into, and I am a writer by nature. I love creating things and using my own artistic integrity for my choices. I want to get my idea of good work out there and not just be a part of someone else’s idea of good work…I like characters and people that don’t get that much exposure.”
On his dream woman:
“She would have to be secure, honest, self-aware, wealth-aware. She has to have her own mindset and be a woman against all odds. She has to be independent.”
Elsewhere in the magazine, the fashion sense of both Kanye West and Jamie Foxx is explored and there's an eye candy pictorial of Romeo Miller, Damien Dante Wayans, Texas Battle and Demetrius Grosse. Also, Tika Sumpter’s glam squad offers hair and makeup advice.
First Beyonce H&M Ad Unveiled
As fans await news on Beyonce‘s new single, those salivating at her collaboration with H&M have cause to smile. For, the first component of the singer’s all-out multimedia campaign for the high-street chain has been unveiled.
The shot above is lifted from the ad section in the latest issue of Elle magazine and sees the superstar flaunt her sexy in the brand’s Summer 2013 line (which she helped design).
Roll-out of the exciting campaign (which is christened “Beyonce as Mrs. Carter For H&M”) is set to crank up a notch next month when an accompanying TV commercial is unwrapped. Shot in the style of a music video by ‘Telephone’ director Jonus Akerlund, the hotly anticipated spot will feature new song ‘Standing On The Sun’.
As exciting as this is, we can only hope the first single from King B’s hotly anticipated fifth album arrives before anymore endorsement flavoured material is rolled out. Given the immense length and breadth of her talent, it’s great to see her cashing all these brand checks. However, this doesn’t dilute the fact that fans are growing impatient to the point of frustration with the drip-drop release of information and most importantly new songs. Here’s hoping the days and weeks ahead see all of that change.

Tina Simpson Considered Killing Herself and Husband Joe Simpson
Tina Simpson was left so distraught after learning her husband, Joe, had cheated on her that she was very close to taking her own life. As you may recall, Joe had a brief affair with 21-year old model Bryce Chandler Hill over the summer of 2012 which led to the revelation of his homosexuality which left the entire family shocked.
Shocked because Tina and Joe had been married for 35 years — so to find out that your husband was sleeping with another man didn’t sit too well with Tina. According to RadarOnline, Tina had written a letter where she thoroughly explained how upset she was after hearing about the twisted, unforgivable things that Joe had done.
Before jetting out to New York to confront him about it, a note was found which supposedly detailed her plans on how and when she would kill herself and Joe. She was fuming over the fact that the press would ridicule her marriage and her daughter, Jessica Simpson’s reputation and that’s exactly what she feared the most.
But before she could even get her hands on Joe, he phoned her up so that they could meet up and get to the bottom of this shocking revelation. Her plans to kill herself and Joe were put on hold for the time being. “Tina was so distraught when she found out about Joe’s secret gay affair, she immediately wrote a suicide note,” a source tells RadarOnline.
“It was fairly detailed and she said she wanted to shoot herself for what Joe had done to their 35-year marriage. Worse still, Tina wanted to shoot Joe as well. She was just so angry with him. But, instead of killing herself, Tina headed straight to a New York hotel to confront Joe about Bryce Chandler Hill.”
The saddest part about it all is that Joe had no plans on even getting back together with his wife. In fact, in his twisted mind, he had already planned on divorcing Tina, so the cheating scandal didn’t really change anything – he wanted out and made it perfectly clear as he returned to their Los Angeles home where he found the suicide note which he immediately took to court in hopes that the judge would give him a good stake of the amount the two had made during their 35 years of marriage.
“However, when Joe returned to the Encino home in Los Angeles they shared, he found the note, made a copy and gave it to his divorce lawyer as a bargaining tool for the settlement. An offer of a 50 percent split of everything under the Simpson name has been offered to Joe,” a source close to the family told Radar.
Knicks Clinch Atlantic Division Title!!!
It started out as the Knicks’ primary goal for this season, but who can blame them if reaching it has caused them to readjust their sights higher?
The sizzling Knicks tied a franchise record with 20 three-pointers to easily extend their winning streak to a baker’s dozen, cementing their first Atlantic Division crown since 1994 in the win, a 120-99 rout of the Wizards at the Garden.
“We win a division, that’s accomplished. But the big picture is winning a title. I’m only in it for one thing, man,” Mike Woodson said. The division is great, because that’s what we set out to do as a team but the big picture is trying to win a championship. We’re headed in the right direction but we still have a ways to go.”
The Knicks (51-26) also lead Indiana, which defeated Cleveland on Tuesday, by 2-½ games for the No.2 seed in the Eastern Conference. That would ensure home-court advantage for the first two rounds of the playoffs and put off a potential showdown with the Heat until the conference finals.
“Now here it is, right here in front of us, staring us in the face to go get it. And we have to go get it,” Woodson said. “All of those things are right within our reach and I’m pushing our guys from an urgency standpoint to get wins. So that’s what it’s about.”
About the only downside to the victory was another injury for veteran forward Kenyon Martin, who had missed the previous two games with a sore left knee. Martin was helped to the locker room with what appeared to be an injured left ankle after he stepped on Chris Singleton’s foot while going for a defensive rebound with 10:28 left in the fourth quarter. X-rays were negative.
Carmelo Anthony, who tied newly-minted Hall of Famer Bernard King’s franchise record of three straight games of at least 40 points last week, erupted for 21 of his 36 points in the third quarter to also match King’s 1984-85 team mark of five consecutive 35-plus point efforts.
Anthony, who again heard chants of “M-V-P!” from the Garden faithful, finished with 36 points, eight rebounds and six assists despite not playing in the fourth quarter.
Amber Rose Tells Critics To Shut The Eff Up About Baby Sabastian’s Weed Socks
An innocent photo of Sabastian (affectionately called ‘Baby Bash’) has a few folk (and maybe even parents) in an uproar. Over the weekend, Amber Rose (his famous mama) posted a photo of Wiz Khalifa (his famous daddy) holding their two month old son. What’s the big deal you ask? Well, he was rockin’ a fancy pair of socks with marijuana leaves on them and Amber shared the photo on Instagram, writing:

And apparently, the new parents caught some criticism. This week, Wendy Williams weighed in on Baby Bash’s weed socks.
During her ‘Hot Topics’ segment, she commented:
So here’s my thought–my thought is Sabastian is only less than two months old. And I get it that Wiz loves to smoke his weed, I get that it marijuana is soon to legalized everywhere, but I just feel it’s gone too far by posting this picture. And I’m no cornball; I’m a cool lady–especially at home. There are some things that are suppose to be at home things…That’s close door conversation; it’s not to be Instagram’ed. Oh you crazy kids…Oh Wendy STFU!
And I don’t know if Wendy’s comments were icing on the cake, but Muva Rose Bud seemed a bit peeved about folks telling her what to do w/ her very own child. She tweeted:

Michael Clarke Duncan’s Sister ‘Judy Duncan’ Wants Omarosa Investigated DOESN’T TRUST HER!
Actor Michael Clarke Duncan passed away in September and his fiance Omarosa Manigault was left everything.
Judy Duncan told TMZ that she hired a lawyer to investigate the circumstances behind why Omarosa became the main beneficiary of Michael’s will.
Judy believes MCD was not of sound mind when he made the changes … because as early as December 2011, the actor was not himself, slurring words and stumbling around.
Judy says her suspicions about Omarosa intensified when MCD was hospitalized following his heart attack … telling us Omarosa was fixated on MCD’s money when he was on life support.
Another thorn in Judy’s side … Omarosa has already sold a bunch of MCD’s personal effects (watches, cars, his “Green Mile” director’s chair, awards, etc.). Judy says Omarosa sold the stuff without the family’s knowledge … and she’s pissed
Check this out though, Michael Duncan Clarke reportedly left Judy with $100,000.As for Omarosa’s rebuttal, she told TMZ: “I don’t control the estate or the finances and Judy knows it. If you saw all of her emails and texts to me you would see that she is just trying to get money from me, and threatened going to press if I did not give it to her and that is a crime!”

Jay-Z Selling Off His Brooklyn Nets Shares?
Well that was quick. After one season at the Barclays center and years of working to bring the team to BK, it looks like Jay-Z may be already selling off his shares of the team.
Yahoo Sports is reporting that Mr. Carter is looking to "divest his ownership share" -- meaning sell off his share -- of the Nets. And it's all because he wants to expand his Roc Nation Sports division, which recently signed Yankee Robinson Cano, into the world of professional basketball. According to NBA rules, one cannot have ownership in a team and represent individual players at the same time. So Hov is going the agent route.
He owns less than 1% of the Nets, but is undoubtedly the face of the franchise. He propelled the team to a big name status, and he's gotten rewarded in return with tons of publicity, lots of face time on and off the Barclays stage, and the opportunity to brand his existing catalog of music into the NBA franchise. Business doesn't always mean cash is involved....notoriety, platforms and clout are parts of the equation too.
It looks like Hov may be leaving with exactly what he came in to get, so it may be a win-win for everyone.

Pilar Sanders Writing Tell-All Book About Abusive Marriage to Deion Sanders
Now this, my friends, should be interesting. According to Hip Hollywood, there’s another celebrity tell-all book in the works. If she can’t beat him (Deion Sanders) in the court-room, she’s using her pen game to get her story out. Reportedly, Pilar Sanders’ book is called, Saving Sanders: The Pilar Sanders Untold Story, described as:
“true, uncut story about the abuse Pilar endured, how she built an empire with him, and how he cheated on her.”
Pilar says that she wants women, who have had similar experiences, to learn from her:
“I want to be a mentor to other women who have been abused, by sharing my story, my struggles and letting them in, it will not only help heal myself but others experiencing the same trials and struggles as well. There are thousands of women fighting for their rights, their children and their own identity out there. We as women and mothers need to ban together to show support for injustice. I will continue my fight as long as I walk this earth, and with Jesus at my side all will prevail.”

Kendrick Lamar has the hip hop light shining brightly on Cali again (not that it ever totally left).
So it's only right the "Swimming Pools (Drank)" rapper was chosen as 1/2 of the cover of the new issue. EIC Jermaine Hall said about the choice, "Watching the rise of two future genius artists is rare. With Kendrick’s classic debut and Miguel’s new-age soul dominance we wanted to celebrate these LA products in the moment. They are appropriate look-forwards to an issue crowning the culture’s best.”

On working with Nas (who people often compare him to) on KL's next album:
KL: “I never got a chance to reach out to him (Nas). I was so wrapped up in getting the music done and samples cleared and mastered. I didn't wanna rush the process; I actually wanted to sit in the studio and vibe with him. [It was] the only thing that I had a vision for that I sought out to accomplish, but in due time…”

KL: “The idea of a concept record has been lost for a long time – will that translate to 16-year-old kids in high school rather than the super energetic joint on the radio? I definitely had that in the back of my mind when I was creating this album.”
On Frank Ocean’s announcement:
M: “In all reality, Frank Ocean took a big chance the way that artists are supposed to. Sonically and how he writes and what he’s writing about and how he chooses to express himself vocally, all his choices are very unique and I appreciate that about him. Not only did his announcement overshadow my music, but it overshadowed his as well.

Naomi Campbell's model competition show on Oxygen has been renewed for a second season...
After the success of Naomi Campbell's The Face, rumors spread that Tyra Banks was upset and telling friends that Naomi's show was a blatant rip off her model competition show America's Next Top Model
While imitation may not be a form of flattery in Tyra's case, it will get you a second season. The Face was just green lit for a another 10 episode cycle.
