According to TMZ William James from Gary, Ind., is suing Tyler Perry claiming Temptation is a ripoff of his 2009 screenplay "Lovers Kill."
Apparently William once gave his script to an associate of Oprah Winfrey and believes that's how Tyler got access to his work.
"Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor" earned over $49 million.
William James is seeking unspecified damages.
