FLOTUS & ‘Bo’ Show Easter Love Military Families
First Lady Michelle Obama celebrated the first day of spring by greeting and handing out Easter goodies to military families and children. With first dog, Bo, in tow, Michelle hit up the Fincher House at Walter Reed Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland outside of Washington, DC.
Michelle greeted the families as they were decorating Easter cards and passed out cookies made by the White House chef. She also gave the families tickets to the annual White House Easter Egg Roll on April 1.

Kandi Burruss Covers UPSCALE Magazine's April 2013 Issue, Explains Why Pre-Nups Should Be "Standard
Kandi Burruss is helping to ring in Spring as she rocks a lime & white lace dress for the cover of UPSCALE magazine. Check out what the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star has to say about the controversy she's stirring up around pre-nups...
Kandi knows how to bring the soft and pretty when she needs to. The 36-year-old singer/songwriter is looking fab on the April 2013 cover of UPSCALE magazine.
And while topping off her lips with a trendy orange lip color, Kandi chatted up the mag at her Atlanta studio to give the scoop on her new Bravo television show, "The Kandi Factory", and her relationship with fiancé Todd Tucker. She also answered advice questions from UPSCALE readers on everything from relationships and sex to money and business. And of course, she gave her explanation about the recent controversy she caused on RHOA after her comments about why pre-nuptial agreements should be mandatory.
On her relationship with fiancé Todd: “The cool thing about Todd and I is that he’s very smart, intelligent. We have so many ideas that we’re planning to make happen together. We’re workaholics. That’s something we’ve been talking about lately, trying to find more ‘us’ time.”
On everyone making a big deal about her suggesting a prenup: "I don’t see why it’s such a huge topic of conversation. Pre-nups should be standard. Those things should be put in place when everyone is thinking clear-minded. Why would you wait until y’all fall out? People do things to hurt the other when they’re hurt. If I was a man and made that [comment about pre-nups] I don’t think people would’ve even cared, probably.”
And here's a taste of the real talk Kandi gave to a reader in her special Advice Segment in the issue:

Kick rocks [laughs]. The reason why is because old married couples always told me that there are three things to make a relationship work: financial stability, good communication and great sex. If any one of those things break down? The whole thing is falling apart. Think about it though—if the sex ain’t good, one of y’all will get bored and cheat or just be bored and tired of them. Financial stability— and I don’t mean rich. I just mean stable— being able to maintain and do day-to-day stuff. If the person never has financial stability and they’re never able to pull it together, then you’re having financial arguments and when you have arguments and y’all fighting all the time about money, then what happens? You don’t wanna have sex and the whole thing breaks down.

Cissy Houston Asks Dionne Warwick for Help with Bobbi Kristina
Sources claim Cissy Houston is begging her cousin Dionne Warwick to help her get granddaughter Bobbi Kristina under control...
Whitney Houston’s mother Cissy has begged her niece, R&B legend Dionne Warwick, to mentor Whitney’s wild-child daughter, sources say.
But at 72, the “Walk On By” singer says that she’s too old to deal with headstrong 20-year-old Bobbi Kristina, who’s known as “Krissi,” the sources add.
“Cissy is really leaning on Dionne to take charge of Krissi,” said a family friend. “Dionne has been hesitant, but Cissy is trying to guilt her into stepping in.”
Close sources say, Cissy and Krissi have been engaged in a nasty feud over Whitney’s estate and legacy, with Krissi publicly slamming her grandmother’s memoir, “Remembering Whitney.”
Cissy, 79, is also concerned about Krissi’s engagement to Nick Gordon, who was unofficially adopted by Whitney and has lived with Krissi since she was 9, sources say.
Meanwhile, Dionne has called her late cousin Whitney “the little girl I never had,” and was one of the last people to speak to “The Bodyguard” singer before her tragic death in February 2012.
Dionne has also been close to Krissi over the years, and in a recent interview she expressed concern for the troubled teen.
“Bobbi is just like Whitney – she’s stubborn and won’t let anyone help her,” Dionne said. “She’s resentful that her mother was taken from her. She doesn’t feel close to anyone in her family anymore. She’s lost.”
That’s why Cissy is determined to enlist Dionne’s help, said the source.
“She will always love Krissi and be there for her to talk to, but keeping Krissi on track from day to day is a battle that Dionne just isn’t willing to take on.”
Chanel Iman reveals racist attitudes from the fashion industry
Chanel Iman, a Victoria's Secret Angel and Vogue regular, has revealed that she is often turned away by casting agents and designers who 'already have one black girl' for the job.
The 22-year-old, who has walked the runway for the likes of Balenciaga, Versace, Yves Saint Laurent, and Stella McCartney, said racism was still an issue in fashion.
She told London's The Times: 'A few times I got excused by designers who told me, "We already found one black girl. We don't need you any more." I felt very discouraged.
'When someone tells you, "We don't want you because we already have one of your kind," it's really sad.'
Miss Iman said that all-black magazine issues, like Vogue Italia's, don't necessarily help, either.
'It doesn't help us; it just puts us into a category,' she said.
Instead, she calls for more diversity in the often all-white fashion shows as well as magazines.
Miss Iman explained: 'There needs to be a permanency [about] using black models," she says. "You still see all-white shows in Europe and New York.'
However fashion photographer Steven Meisel, who shoots campaigns for Valentino, Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton and Prada said he often faces negative feedback from clients when he casts models of color for big jobs.
'I've asked my advertising clients so many times, "Can we use a black girl?" They say no. Advertisers say black models don't sell.'
Meanwhile, top casting director James Scully criticized Calvin Klein's habit of putting just one model of color in its show every season.
'They do it to not get in trouble, they don't do it because they believe black women should be on that runway,' he said.
'Versace will use Joan Smalls in their advertising, but why wasn't she walking their show in February?'
And casting agent Barbara Nicoli, who decides which models work for Gucci, said that the brand's lack of diversity comes from seeking a certain kind of beauty.
'Gucci never has a huge number of black girls in the show because in the mind of Frida [Giannini, Gucci's creative director], she wants this [specific] type of girl.
'She wants this girl, then if the model she likes is black or Asian, it's fine. But when you do a casting, [you see a lot fewer black and Asian models than white models].'
Ms Nicoli added that different races have different body shapes, which can be difficult when casting a fashion show.
'It's also true that, for example, Caucasians have a specific body type, black girls have a specific body shape, and Asian girls have a specific body shape.
'So I guess there are some collections where it's more perfect for an Asian body shape because they are more flat and less sexy, in a way. Asians, they are not curvy, so to put an Asian [who's] very flat [with a] baby body shape in a show where normally the designer knows they love sexy, beautiful, curvy girls, it's a bit of nonsense.'
Frank Ocean Lands Modeling Gig With Band Of Outsiders
Frank Ocean is poised to become as popular for his fashion, as he is for his music. The singer has been hitting up runway shows as of late, and recently landed a modeling gig with Band of Outsiders.
The Los Angeles-based clothing line tapped Ocean for its spring line.
Band of Outsiders Creative Director Scott Sternberg, shot the two-time Grammy winner in a series of Polaroid-style images at the Los Angles Times building, in the city's downtown area.
All of the shots shared online feature the 25-year-old in only two different looks. The first is a black suit, and the second is a blue sweater, red jacket, and khakis. A total of 23 photos were chosen to showcase the campaign, all of which will be unveiled on the company's Instagram and Tumblr pages
Ocean has yet to speak on the collaboration, but has worn the company's clothes before. He rocked a custom-made yellow Band of Outsiders suit, for his performance on the Grammys.

Michael Jordan’s Fiancee Yvette Prieto ‘Has Signed Prenup Agreement’
Of course you know Michael Jordan is engaged to be married once again. Well this time the Airness will not give up half of his bank account and assets if things don’t work out between him and fiancee Yvette Prieto.
In 2007, after seventeen years of marriage, Juanita Jordan was awarded $168 million in her divorce from Michael Jordan, the largest celebrity divorce settlement at the time.
According to the National Enquirer, Jordan had Prieto sign a prenuptial agreement. Ideally, that will protect the $650 million fortune he is believed to have. “Michael loves Yvette, but he won’t let that interfere with his common sense – and his money – like it did before,” a source reportedly told the Enquirer, via The Daily Mail.
According to The National Enquirer Michael’s pre-nup with Yvette limits her to $1 million for every year they were married in the event of divorce. If the marriage lasts 10 years Yvette will receive $5 million a year if they break up.
A person close to Prieto said she is not concerned about the prenup.
“She feels they have a strong relationship,” an insider reportedly said. “She can’t imagine that they’d ever split up! Yvette knows Michael was once a serial cheater, just like his buddy Tiger Woods. But she believes Michael has sown his wild oats and only has eyes for her now. They’re both very happy and looking forward to the wedding.”
