Looks like the year of Beyonce is officially in full swing. On the heels of her Super Bowl halftime LED extravaganza, Beyoncé announced The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour beginning in Europe on April 15 and in North America on June 28.

Burger King Horse Meat Whoppers
OMG, did you eat horse meat and not know it. It’s possible if you are a Burger King customer in the UK you may have eating horsemeat.
According to HP Burger King admits it has been selling beef burgers and Whoppers containing horsemeat in the United Kingdom
This is just the latest chapter in an ongoing scandal in the U.K. and Ireland involving beef burger patties tainted with meat from horses and pigs. U.K. supermarket chain Tesco and other companies have also been affected. It’s suspected that a meat distributor in Poland, which worked with all the companies in question, used meats other than beef as filler in cheap burgers.
Burger King had originally stressed that its patties are made with 100 percent beef, although it later dropped Silvercrest, the food processing plant that received meat from the Polish distributor.
The Guardian has a statement from Burger King:
“Our independent DNA test results on product taken from restaurants were negative for any equine DNA. However, four samples recently taken from the Silvercrest plant have shown the presence of very small trace levels of equine DNA. Within the last 36 hours, we have established that Silvercrest used a small percentage of beef imported from a non-approved supplier in Poland. They promised to deliver 100% British and Irish beef patties and have not done so. This is a clear violation of our specifications, and we have terminated our relationship with them.”

On Monday Hollywood couple Nicole Ari Parker and Boris Kodjoe were panelists who spoke during the Box Tops for Education Town Hall at Spelman College recently. Posing with Sharonda L. Britton, Director of Marketing for Walmart, the panel discussed serious educational issues such as funding, budget cuts, parental & community involvement, curriculum, and public vs homeschooling for our nation's youth.

At one point during the discussion, the issue of parenting and its impact on education came up. Nicole and Boris jokingly went back and forth about how they split up the mommy/daddy duties at home. That should be interesting.
Bobbi Kristina Wants NOTHING To Do With Cissy Houston’s Book
Bobbi Kristina the daughter of the late Whitney Houston does not want anything to do with the book her grandmother, Cissy, has written about her mother.
The book released earlier this week called, Remembering Whitney, by Cissy has hit shelves and Bobbi wants no part of it. She even went to Twitter to let all of her fans and supports that she and finance Nick Gordon do not support the book and to not purchase.
The book is a tell all about Whitney’s life. Cissy went on Oprah earlier in the week as well on a book promo. During the interview and she admitted to not having the best relationship currently with Bobbi Kristina.
Do You Want to see The Uncle Ruckus Movie?
From ‘The Boondocks’ comic strip and animated series on Adult Swim, the legendary Uncle Ruckus is coming to the big screen – maybe!
[via KickStarter] Those of you familiar with ‘The Boondocks’ already know who Uncle Ruckus is. He’s the hard-working, slur-spitting handyman you love to hate. If you do know who Uncle Ruckus is, you either really love him or really hate him. Think Samuel L. Jackson’s character in Django – times one hundred!
Aaron McGruder is raising funds for an R-rated theatrical comedy featuring Uncle Ruckus, to be produced this year. The movie will be written and directed by McGruder, and stars Gary Anthony Williams – who does the voice of Uncle Ruckus on the animated series. The story, which is currently being written, will not involve any of the other regular Boondocks characters, but rather explore a part of the Ruckus family not seen in the show.
WHY LIVE ACTION?!
Aaron says, “There’s always been interest in a live-action Boondocks movie, which to me was out of the question considering Huey and Riley are essentially impossible to cast. The animated feature would cost around 20 million, but a live action Uncle Ruckus movie could cost a fraction of that. So just for the hell of it we had the costume made and it was pretty amazing. To see Gary actually transform into Uncle Ruckus… it’s quite the surreal experience. I never expected the transition to be so completely seamless.”
WHY KICKSTARTER?
First, because SONY (who produces The Boondocks animated series) is not involved with this project in any way. In fact, there are no investors, corporate or otherwise, involved with the movie as of this moment. This whole thing is kind of an odd idea, so we’re starting with Kickstarter on this one and we’ll just see what happens.
Crowd funding, however, is a big deal. It represents an entirely new relationship between fan and creator. It also represents a new financial model for making stuff, and that’s exciting.Uncle Ruckus has a lot of supporters out there. If they want this to happen, they can make it happen.
After that, the project faces all of the normal challenges that go along with production – which are too numerous and unpredictable to delineate here. Movie-making is a messy, chaotic business. Delays caused by issues with collaborators, unforeseen additional filming, technical issues, actors getting arrested for something ridiculous – are all issues we’ve faced in the past and will likely continue to face. Backers will be kept up-to-date on progress through our production blog. If something goes terribly wrong, you’ll be the first to know.
If for some reason we reach our Kickstarter goals, but still fail to actually get the movie off the ground, the following will happen: All Bag O’ Ruckus rewards will be fulfilled (mid 2013).
An Uncle Ruckus mockumentary UNCLE RUCKUS SAVES AMERICA will be produced in place of THE UNCLE RUCKUS MOVIE, allowing all of the rewards to remain unaffected.

Robert DeNiro Lover Says Bobby Kept His Socks On
A new tell all book claims Robert DeNiro kept his socks on during sex and calls Richard Gere an unforgettable lover.
Carole Mallory, the actress and model who wrote “Loving Mailer” about her eight-year affair with Norman Mailer, has penned another book about her exploits with famous men — including Robert De Niro, whom she alleges wore socks in bed.
“Picasso’s Ghost” chronicles Mallory’s relationship and broken engagement to Pablo Picasso’s sonClaude, as well as affairs with Peter Sellers and Richard Gere. “I was jilted by Claude Picasso, and I spent most of my life trying to shore up my bad feelings about myself,” she tells us. “A lot of my seeking out famous men was to prove I was OK. I felt terribly wounded when he jilted me. I felt validated by celebrities.”
Mallory, who starred in “The Stepford Wives,” met De Niro in 1975 at the Chateau Marmont, and the pair had a 14-day affair.
“During lovemaking, he never stopped looking in my eyes,” she writes. She continues, “He had a butterfly tattoo that I later realized matched his flighty spirit. So did the fact he left his socks on.” She added, “The following year he married Diahnne Abbott . . . I would have appreciated a phone call.”
Of Mallory’s romance with “Pink Panther” star Sellers, she writes in the book from Amazon’s CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, “I kissed him all over his hairy body. He had hair everywhere. He even had it on his back. I liked it. He reminded me of a giant panda bear.”
But she adds of the enigmatic actor who struggled with depression, “I think maybe he was too filled with self-loathing. Alcohol temporarily masked that and freed him from his demonic thoughts about himself.”
Mallory, 71, who now teaches writing at Rosemont College and Temple University in Philly, breathlessly describes a one-night stand with Gere in the late ’70s: “His gymnastic skills were apparent. He made love his way . . . He didn’t withhold. He was Valentino in the flesh. A sex symbol not to be forgotten. Not to be lumped in with all the others, but to be remembered for his uniqueness. His thoughtfulness. His caring.”
Reps for De Niro and Gere didn’t get back to us.
Allen Iverson Loses Custody Over Heavy Drinking
Allen Iverson — once considered the best player in the NBA — a horrible, irresponsible, pathetic excuse for a parent, this according to an Atlanta family court judge.
Iverson just officially became a single man — after the ATL judge signed off on his divorce from Tawanna Iverson the mother of his five children.
But in the final divorce decree, the judge UNLOADS on A.I. saying:
“[Iverson] does not know how to manage the children; has little interest in learning to manage the children and has actually, at times, been a hindrance to their spiritual and emotional growth and development.
For example, he has refused to attend to an obvious and serious alcohol problem, which has caused him to do inappropriate things in the presence of the children while impaired.
He has left the children alone without supervision. He has left his young daughters in a hotel room with men who are unknown to the mother.”
The judge has awarded Tawanna legal and physical custody of the kids. Allen has some visitation rights but ONLY if he abides by certain conditions.
Among them Allen must NOT drink a drop of alcohol for the next 18 months. And there’s more: until all of his kids become adults [18+], he can’t consume alcohol within 24 hours of the times he has the kids.
He’s also been ordered to see a shrink and attend AA meetings for a year.

But this did not stop Will Smith attending an event where author Sister Souljah paraded her latest work in Philadelphia.
The jolly Men in Black star looked thrilled to be attending the event at the Temple Performing Arts Centre as they posed together on the red carpet before the discussion event.
Sister, 48, is an American author, activist, musician artist, and film producer.
She was discussing her latest book A Deeper Love Inside: The Porsche Santiaga Story, a coming of age tale about a girl who is a 'natural-born hustler' which is said to be marching off the shelves.
She shot to fame after Bill Clinton criticised her remarks about race in the United States during the 1992 presidential campaign.
Following the infamous Los Angeles riots that year she said: 'If black people kill black people every day, why not have a week and kill white people?
'White people, this government and that mayor were well aware of the fact that black people were dying every day in Los Angeles under gang violence.
'So if you're a gang member and you would normally be killing somebody, why not kill a white person? Do you think that somebody thinks that white people are better, are above and beyond dying, when they would kill their own kind?'
As well as her writing, Sister, born Lisa Williamson, was also previously the executive director of Daddy's House Social Programs Inc., a non-profit corporation for urban youth financed by Diddy and Bad Boy Entertainment.

Lady Gaga Calls Former Assistant ‘F*cking Hood Rat’

Lady Gaga lives the life of a Downton Abbey lady, court records in a pending lawsuit obtained by the New York Post show — minus the lady-like mouth.
A former assistant is suing the pop superstar for more than $393,000 of unpaid overtime. In six hours of testimony, Gaga throws her one-time employee, Jennifer O’Neill, in the verbal gutter.
O’Neill is a “(expletive) hood rat who is suing me for money that she didn’t earn,” and it “was essentially a favor, and Jennifer was majorly unqualified.”
“She’s just — she thinks she’s just like the queen of the universe,” Gaga said. “And you know what? She didn’t want to be a slave to one, because in my work and what I do, I’m the queen of the universe every day.”
To wit: “One of the biggest problems I had with Jen is that I felt like she didn’t lay out all my stuff for me. There is 20 bags and there is only one me, and I can’t sift through everything,” Gaga said.
At times Gaga directed her ire squarely at her target: “Are you going to stare at me like a witch this whole time — honestly?”

Former Oprah OWN Employee Files Sex Discrimination Lawsuit
Some negative press has hit Oprah Winfrey’s OWN Network. Reportedly, one of her former employees, has filed a sex discrimination lawsuit against her network. A woman named Carolyn Hommel, who is the former Senior Director of Scheduling and Acquisitions, claims she lost her job with the company because she got pregnant. According to court documents, she was hired in 2010 had consistently high performance reviews before she had to take medical leave. After returning to work, the woman allegs that she was passed over for a higher position when her superior fabricated a performance review. She is now seeking unspecified damages. There has been no statement issued about the lawsuit by the network or Oprah’s camp.

Justin Bieber's camp deny reports the teen pop star groped a fan at a backstage meet and greet insisting it was a bad camera angel.
Justin Bieber has denied 'groping' a fan's boob during a meet and greet in Miami.
Earlier this week, an image of JB kissing the girl on the cheek and appearing to touch her breast emerged on fan site Bieberfever.com - with his people later removing the snap from the page.
However, the pic of Justin and the girl - known only as Jocelyn - was quick to cause a storm online, with the 17-year old Belieber quick to insist that it was innocent.
Jocelyn took to Twitter to write: "I’m dying hahahahhaha it looks like Justin’s touching my boob in the picture.
"Let me clear this up for people who can’t read, NO I did NOT ask Justin to touch my boobs."
Bieber's team were also quick to dismiss the groping claims, with his representative telling E! News: "That definitely did not happen. He was pulling away from her. It's ridiculous."
The 18-year old later seemed to address the episode, tweeting: "A lot of bs has been out there lately...seems like it never stops. answering for myself thru music", before posting a link to his new acoustic LP.
