THE BALTIMORE RAVENS ARE YOUR SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS!!!
Baltimore Ravens Win Super Bowl 47 Over San Francisco 49ers, 34-31
From blowout to blackout to shootout, Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens had just enough power to survive one of the most electric Super Bowls ever.
The outage flipped a switch for the San Francisco 49ers, but the Ravens used a last-gasp defensive stand to hold on Sunday night, 34-31.
America's biggest sporting event came to a half-hour standstill in the third quarter when most of the Superdome lights and the scoreboards went dark. By then, the Ravens had a 22-point lead.
Everything changed after that, though, and the 49ers staged a sensational rally before Ray Lewis and Co. shut it down. But there were plenty of white-knuckle moments and the Ravens (14-6) had to make four stops inside their 7 at the end.
For a Super Bowl with so many subplots, it almost had to end this way.
Flacco's arrival as a championship quarterback coincides with Lewis' retirement – with a second Super Bowl ring no less. The win capped a sensational month since the star linebacker announced he was leaving the game after 17 Hall of Fame-caliber years.
The sibling rivalry between the coaching Harbaughs went to John, older than Jim by 15 months.
"How could it be any other way? It's never pretty. It's never perfect. But it's us," John Harbaugh said. "It was us today."
The loss of power delayed the game 34 minutes and left players from both sides stretching and chatting with each other. It also cost Baltimore whatever momentum it built, and that was considerable after Jacoby Jones' 108-yard kickoff return and game MVP Flacco's three touchdown passes made it 28-6.
Back came San Francisco (13-5-1) in search of its sixth Lombardi Trophy in as many tries.
Michael Crabtree's 31-yard touchdown reception on which he broke two tackles made it 28-13. A couple minutes later, Frank Gore's 6-yard run followed a 32-yard punt return by Ted Ginn Jr., and the 49ers were within eight.
Ray Rice's fumble at his 24 led to David Akers' 34-yard field goal, but Baltimore woke up for a long drive leading to rookie Justin Tucker's 19-yard field goal.
San Francisco wasn't done challenging, though, and Colin Kaepernick's 15-yard TD run, the longest for a quarterback in a Super Bowl, made it 31-29. A 2-point conversion pass failed when the Ravens blitzed.

Tucker added a 38-yarder with 4:19 remaining, setting up the frantic finish.
Kaepernick couldn't get the Ravens into the end zone on the final three plays – there was contact on Crabtree on the final pass that appeared incidental – and Ravens punter Sam Koch took a safety for the final score.
Congrats to The Ravens!

Peep the photos and let us know what you think about her getup.
This outfit was definitely for the faint of heart…or gym membership!

23-Year-Old Man Charged In The Murder Of Atlanta Rapper Yung Teddy
Police in Georgia have charged a man believed to have gunned down rapper Justin “Yung Teddy” Mitchell earlier in the month, the Atlanta-Journal Constitution reports.
Curley Dean Holden, goes by two different names, and is accused to shooting Mitchell as two women watched.
Holden is believed to have forced his way into the home where Mitchell was, holding a gun to one woman's neck and pointing the firearm at another, before committing the murder.
The 23-year-old is also known as Willie Danyel Hunt and eluded authorities for nearly a month, before reportedly threatening another person's life at a barbecue. “I want to break your jaw, and I'll be happy,” Holden allegedly said while gripping his firearm.
He was arrested on Jan. 23, and charged with making terroristic threats. While in custody he was slapped with three counts of aggravated assault and murder, all stemming from Mitchell's death.  “The accused pointed a handgun in the direction of Mr. Mitchell and fired several times,” the arrest warrant reads.
Holden has been to prison twice before, the most recent of which resulted in a release last summer after serving 18 months on drug charges and making false statements. In 2009 he served roughly seven months behind bars on a separate drug conviction.
Less than a week after Mitchell's death, police arrested a woman for sending him threats via text message. Mitchell posted screen shots of the correspondence online, and tweeted that someone wanted him dead, hours before he was shot.

How hot does JoJo look on the set of her latest music video?!
The petite powerhouse looked all sorts of lush as she shot the visual for ‘Andre’, the lead cut from her critically acclaimed mixtape ‘Agape’ in Los Angeles over the weekend.
A nod of sorts to OutKast’s Andre 3000, the mid-tempo groove has become a fan favourite since premiering last Fall; and, on the basis of these newly shared set pics, so too will its accompanying video.

KOBE BRYANT POPS OFF -- "My Wife Wasn't Shootin' In The Gym, But RESPECT Her For Raising Our Kids!"

While Kobe & his Lakers have finally started winning games again, he's in a good mood and not letting people change that.  So in between posting cutesy Twitter messages about his and his wife, Vanessa's, morning coffee & juice habits, his pedicures and his love for the game, he gave his followers a lesson on respecting his wife.
While Drake's verse on "Stay Schemin'" is still something folks like to throw Kobe & Vanessa's way, the baller is squashing it once and for all.
As we know, Drake raps, "She wasn't with you shootin' in the gym," when talking about wives of the rich/famous/athletes trying to take half.  Vanessa has previously popped off on her own Twitter account about people saying this line to her.  She explained that her "job" was keeping their home and family in tact so that Kobe could shoot in the gym.

Now, it's Kobe's turn.
Yesterday, the Black Mamba tweeted: "Morning coffee with my wife @LadyVB24 (instagram) vanilla latte for me. Passion tea for her #morningaddiction"
A follower responded with a lame attempt at being cool, and Kobe gave his response about respecting mothers, especially those with no nannies:
Checkmate.

O.J. Simpson's If I Did It Book Auctioned Off For $250K On eBay
O.J. Simpson's If I Did It is up for auction on eBay for a whopping $250,000. The “rare” find is one of the last copies of Simpsons literary work detailing what he would've done had he killed his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman.
The book was released over six years ago, but production was halted due to public opposition.
From TMZ:
The book was originally announced in November 2006 -- and 400,000 copies were printed -- but the release was abruptly canceled following a public backlash ... and the books were reportedly recalled to be destroyed.
But according to legend, a small number survived -- one reportedly lives at News Corporation (the original publisher), one was auctioned off on eBay in 2007 (for $65,000) ... and now, another copy has surfaced on the auction website. It's unclear how many more are still floating around in obscurity.
The latest book to surface has been listed at $250,000 -- and according to the listing, payment is required in FULL within 48 hours of the auction ending.
A revised version of "If I Did It" was republished in 2007 -- with added commentary -- and proceeds were awarded to the family of one of Simpson's alleged murder victims, Ron Goldman ... but an original edition is practically unheard of.
Simpson is currently behind bars in Nevada for kidnapping and owes the IRS $500,ooo in back taxes.

Tommy Mottola Talks Mariah Carey & Michael Jackson On The ‘Today Show’
The name Tommy Mottola is one which factors into the success and drama narratives of many a musician. Indeed, in a number of such cases, the music exec has played both the “hero” and the “villain”.
Case, point his ex-wife Mariah Carey.

As reported earlier this month, Mottola has penned a book entitled ‘Hitmaker’ which spotlights his illustrious career, as well addresses Carey’s claims that he was too controlling and abusive both “mentally and emotionally” during his time as her manager and husband in the early to mid 90s.
Naturally, then, when hitting the promo rounds in support of the biography, the 63 year old was quizzed about Mimi, as well as another megastar who famously hit out at him – Michael Jackson.
Released the day before Mariah’s American Idol debut, ‘Hitmaker’ is available at book stores now.

New Song: Tweet – ‘Enough’
It’s been all of eight years since Tweet last blessed the charts with her criminally underrated sophomore set ‘It’s Me Again’. Indeed, an unfortunate brew of industry politics and personal drama silenced the soulful songbird – until now.
Staying true to her promise of new music in our recent interview with her, the singer today unwrapped ‘Enough’ – the lead single from her new EP ‘Simply Tweet’.
Due on February 26th, the set will serve as a prelude of sorts to a full-length album later in the year.

Pending then, we’re just oh so amped to hear new material from Ms. Oops (Oh My). Find out
Via This Is R&B:
Simply soulful, simply sublime, simply Tweet.
The smooth groove makes no apologies about not being commercial. Instead it serves up qualitative in abundance with its lush melodies, silky vocals, and stacked harmonies. We approve…do you?
