Michelle Obama’s 2nd Term Official Portrait Revealed
*The more we see Michelle Obama adorned with bangs, the more we like what we see.
Thankfully that’s the case because the first lady’s official portrait taken in honor of husband President Barack Obama‘s second term in the Oval Office, was released Wednesday and boy does she and her bangs look … bangin!
Specifically, photographer Chuck Kennedy captured the the 49-year-old mother of two in the Green Room in a waist-up closeup. She’s wearing a navy dress with three-quarter-length sleeves as she leans into a green chair.
“This is my midlife crisis, the bangs,” Sasha and Malia’s mom explained of the cut on The Rachael Ray Show earlier this week. “I couldn’t get a sports car. They won’t let me bungee jump. So instead I cut my bangs here.”
She may or may not have been joking about the reason for the bangs, but we’re glad she did it, and in our opinion they really compliment her well.
