Also celebrating their upcoming premiere was the cast of "Second Generation Wayans."  Celeste Sullivan, George O. Gore, Damien Dante Wayans and Craig Wayans all posed it up with the fabulous Tatyana Ali.
She's looking fresh faced and gorgeous these days.
Love seeing one of Hollywood's funniest fams still in the mix.
LA Clippers baller Chris Paul was there to support the shows, with his wife Jada.  Are we feeling her cheetah shortset and red pumps?
Celeb trainer Jeanette Jenkins made an appearance.
And so did "Basketball Wives: LA" star Jackie Christie.
Not loving these shoes though girl....

New Music: Frank Ocean Feat. Big Boi & André 3000 “Pink Matter (Remix)”
Big Boi comes through with the Outkast remix to Frank Ocean’s “Pink Matter.” Originally off the Odd Future crooner’s channell, ORANGE debut album,  the single featured a stellar guest verse from André 3000. Big Boi adds his raps to the smooth offering, making it a reunion (sort of) from the legendary Atlanta duo.
Supposedly, Ocean initially wanted Outkast as a group on the song, but Andre didn’t like the idea. “Dre didn’t want an Outkast Record Coming out on anybody else LP,” Big Boi tweeted back in July 2012 to a fan who asked about his absence on the song.

Listen: Frank Ocean Feat. Big Boi & André 3000 “Pink Matter (Remix)”

This should satisfy the hunger of Outkast fans who were looking to see the duo work together again. It’ll be the first time since 2006′s Idlewild that the Atlanta rappers will have appeared on a project.

Marlon Wayans On Racism In Hollywood: I Never Pull The Race Card!
Via Carlton Jordan: Wayans, now 40 years old, sat down with AllHipHop to talk about his upcoming film ‘A Haunted House’, which he is producing, directing and starring in.

Eventually the line of questioning led to ‘G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra’ and if Wayans, who starred in the first film, looks forward to the second installment.

“I’m not in it. Rip Cord steps on a landmine. They blew his black ass up,” said Wayans in a half joking manner. “The last one they realized the black guy was the hero of the movie. So, they said ‘You know what? We’re going to do the sequel just so we can fix that. Let’s kill the black guy’.”

Rip Cord, a black character, was the one who saved the day at the end of “G.I. Joe” and he was romantically involved with the character Scarlet, played by Rachel Nichols. Rip Cord and Duke, played by Channing Tatum, are actually more like dual heroes in the film. I thought the character Rip Cord was a leap forward in terms of how Hollywood perceived black heroes. Apparently, Hollywood did not although ‘G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra’ made $302 million worldwide.

“I always say to people that there are lessons and blessings,” he explained. “It’s one of the greatest blessings ever for me to be written out of that franchise because it gives me a chance to be creative. I hold my head up. I don’t sulk. I put my head down and made my first movie. I obviously had a ball making it, and this is like my coming out party. This is my ‘Control’ album. Hopefully it’s not that bad album Janet put out there.”

To be black and working in Hollywood is a test of will and patience. The issues of racism is bound to come up when black actors are passed for parts or killed off early. Yet, Wayans has a different way of looking at it. “Here’s the thing about me, I don’t blame it on race. I blame it on taste,” he explained. “When people didn’t know what hip-hop was, and even to this day, they thought it was an urban, black thing. But urban is not black. The reality is that young white kids are buying hip-hop music. The studios think that because you’re black, you don’t have overseas. But I’m overseas. All of my movies have grossed overseas. ‘Scary Movie’ made $167 million overseas. All of these movies are made on foreign value and they don’t think there’s any foreign value in black films and stars, and there missing the opportunity for black people to do well for them because they don’t even try.”
“But I never blame the race card because when you pull the race card what you allow yourself to do is give up and allow yourself to have an excuse,” said Marlon. “I don’t give blame, I accept blame so that I can continue to grow, challenge myself and to persevere in my career. I just say ‘Meh, I can do something else’. I haven’t accomplished half the things I wanted to accomplish because I wasn’t given those opportunities. So, that allows me to go out and create those opportunities. Put some pressure on yourself to create the opportunities. When Jordan was triple-teamed he still found a way to score. That’s what made him a great player.”
Is Wayans saying, the next time you get pulled over by a police officer whose clearly using racial-profiling as a tactic should you say “It’s my fault for being black. Next time I’ll try harder not to be”? I understood what he’s was getting at, and it is a noble approach towards racism to be certain. However, it is what it is bruh!

“They’re going to be however they’re going to be. That’s not going to change. What’s got to change is you,” he countered. “It is what it is. If I had to call it something then I can call it racist or I can call it a blessing. Racism is based on fear and ignorance. The studios are afraid to place black people in those kinds of movies because they’re afraid that there’s no international value in it.”

Black people in positions of power, fame and notoriety can rarely get away with being perceived as angry. Marlon, being a writer, producer and actor, can’t afford that stigma either. But if he were to yell “racism” it’s not like he’s a house cat chasing shadows. It’s a reality in America but a reality that Marlon chose to bend in his favor.
“But that’s OK. When a door closes, there’s a thousand others that open,” he continued. “You just have to look around. If I sit there staring at that one door like a dog waiting for a ball to be thrown then so many things will pass me by. I was supposed to be the first Robin in ‘Batman’ 15 or 20 years ago. If I was still salty about that then I wouldn’t be where I am now. I’ve written, starred in and produced something like 8 movies since then. I’ve starred in and produced over 100 episodes of television. It’s made me into the beast that I am and I’m so grateful. I’m thankful to Hollywood for all the trials and tribulations that I’ve been through on my journey. I’m not mad at the industry. I’ll show my value and then we’ll do business. That’s how black athletes became some of the best in the world. When Jackie Robinson was dealing with people calling him the n-word when he was trying to run the bases he would hit home runs so he didn’t have to be on the bases. He could just come on home. Michael Jordan had to be great. If he wasn’t they would still be calling Larry Bird the greatest basketball player ever and I tell my son the same thing.”

Marlon Wayans’ A Haunted House is in theaters now!

Singer/actress Jordin Sparks leapt into the arms of her equally talented boyfriend Jason Derulo for a Valentine's themed photoshoot for guys and gals looking for a few choice looks for a romantic evening.  Jordin's high-fashion inspired looks featured pieces ranging from a pink Thakoon dress (above) to a Gary Graham sweatshirt (atop).

We think Jordin's super teased locks give her an edgy change-up to her usual cutesy look.  Jason joked about Jordin's hair saying, “She transforms herself with it. I give her names for the people she becomes. When her hair is in a bun, I call her Simone. When it’s curly, I call her Chiquita.”
Ha!

The couple seems super happy together and it's great that Jordin is right by her boo's side.  A few days ago, she tweeted about his neck injury saying, "Its been a year today since @jasonderulo had his neck injury! I thank God everyday that he is up & moving. Stronger than ever! Love you!"
They are so ADORBS!

Did Cam'Ron Jerk A Brooklyn Party Promoter Out Of $7K?
Note to everybody; if you're doing business with anyone that involves exchanging large sums of money, sign a legal contract first. A Brooklyn party promoter learned this out the hard way when he allegedly dropped $7,000 for Cam'Ron to perform at an after hours New Year's Eve party. That didn't happen.
Dan Galluch throws an after hours BK party called The Shanks, but for NYE he wanted to go bigger and book Killa Cam. Galluch hollered at some connects and says he was able to book the Dipset rapper for a reasonable $8,000 to come through and perform. However, at the last minute the person he was dealing with supposedly had to leave town to handle with some family issues, so Galluch ended up having to deal with Cam's DJ, Moe Sticky.

This is where ish got funny style; the Village Voice reports:
The two agreed to pay one fourth of the guaranteed eight grand up front. "So I meet him that next day [Sunday], and I said, 'Bring the signed contracts and I'll give you the money,'" Galluch explains. "He shows up with no contracts, and I have the money. This is the day before New Year's, everything is happening. Promotion has gone out, presales are coming in...and they show up with no contracts." He calls the original guys he'd been dealing with. "Yeah, [Cam'ron]'s gonna show, give [Moe] the money," they tell him. Galluch asks how he can be sure, and his fears ease when Cam'ron immediately sends out a promotional Tweet (which has since been deleted).

Lou Galluch hands Moe Sticky $3,000.
So the next day is when the party is supposed to go down. But when Moe shows up to the venue (Cam was allegedly outside) at about 3:00am, it still wasn't filled so Galluch asked if he could return with Cam at around 4:30am. Moe agrees, but only after Galluch handed him $2,ooo in cash.
You guessed it. The party did get packed, but Moe Sticky dipped with the cash and never returned with Cam'Ron, leaving Galluch stuck in a warehouse filled with mad people, no DJs (since Cam was supposed to be performing) and loads of struggle with people demanding their money back.
Of course, Moe tells a different story, telling the Voice...
Cam'ron was supposed to go on a little after 3am, he says, but when they showed up around 3, "he didn't have the money, it was an empty venue...He was supposed to give us the rest before Cam played. He said he only had 2k and he wanted him to wait until 4:30. You can't do that, man, this is business. I've never seen that in my life. I've been doing this for years, I ain't never seen that before. (...) He didn't promote, plus he never had the rest of the money...put in the article that I said he's a fake promoter."
Worth noting is that Galluch doesn't hold Cam'Ron responsible for this shady business, just his handlers.

There will be no break up to make up in 2013 for one of hip-hop/r&b’s most on and off again couple, Nelly and Ashanti!
Wow Ashanti thats a long time to play the game and retire with no Superbowl ring!! We don’t know the when, how or why, but it’s perfectly clear that Nelly has moved on to beautiful actress Tae Heckard, best known for her role in “The Game”. The new couple have a bit of a history; some of you may recall seeing Tae in many videos, but the friendship for the two of them blossomed 10 years ago on the set of Nelly’s video, “Grillz”. The rest, as they say is history…
Will Tae retire the bachelor?, time will tell…

Meet the Youngest Academy Award Nominee!
Quvenzhané Wallis, the totally adorable star of Beasts of the Southern Wild, just became the youngest person to be nominated for the Best Actress Oscar at nine years old–pretty impressive when you consider the film was her first-ever acting job.

Because she’s so young, Quvenzhané (pronounced Kuh-VAHN-zuh-nay, FYI!) is refreshingly clueless about the hype surrounding her nomination. She’s never even watched an Academy Awards ceremony, telling The Grio, “Whenever they said you might make it to the Oscars, I was like, ‘Who’s Oscar? I don’t know Oscar.’”
So it’s safe to say that Quvenzhané hasn’t exactly spent hours plotting her Oscar night outfit. The actress says she’ll consider “all colors except for black by itself” and not to expect her to wear a full-length princess-y gown.
“I might step on it,” she said, by way of explanation.
We can’t wait to see what the pint-sized phenom decides to wear on the big day.

AND FINALLY FROM “THE CRAZY PEOPLE SHOPPING AT WALMART” FILES
