Ealy, 39, and Khatira Rafiqzada, 31, wed in a private ceremony in Los Angeles. The couple have been dating for almost four years. “Michael has always been a private guy, and he wanted to enjoy his time as a newlywed with his wife privately,” his rep said. “Now that some time has passed and the holidays are here, he wanted to share the news with his fans that he is married and very happy.”
Ealy earned a Golden Globe nomination in 2007 for his work on the Showtime drama Sleeper Cell. He has also starred in a number of films and other TV series….Congrats!
HOLIDAY SHEER: CELEBS GIVING BACK: Rocsi HOSTS a Holiday Toy Drive
"Entertainment Tonight" host Rocsi hosted a holiday toy drive in Hollywood that brought out the likes of Terrell Owens, Tristan Wilds and Duane Martin. Rocsi (in a Rag & Bone Gold Lapel Silver Tuxedo Jacket) hosted a Toy Drive to Benefit Hurricane Sandy Victims at Xen Lounge in Hollywood that brought out many of her celebrity friends. For the event, Rocsi teamed up Girls with Gifts, a non-profit organization whose mission is to cultivate the passions of young ladies ages 11-18.
She spoke about the event's success saying,
“Words cannot express how overwhelmed and proud I am of last night’s Rocstar Rebuilds 1st Annual Toy Drive to benefit Hurricane Sandy Victims in conjunction with Girls with Gifts, FlipFlop Events and YES Productions as well as Xen Lounge. The outcome was phenomenal I knew people would donate toys but when I saw kind hearts arriving with not just 1 toy but multiple bags I held back tears to the generosity. I know what it's like to lose everything in a disaster, I saw my mother struggle to keep our spirits up when we lost it all and I'm glad that everyone involved last night will help out many families this Christmas and keep their spirits up. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.”

Rapper/actor Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges played Santa this week, providing a very special Christmas for more than 400 Atlanta area children. Luda and his Ludacris Foundation hosted its annual “LudaCrismas” holiday event. Check out some of the photos.

White NBC Blogger Writes Chief Keef's Music Is A "Minstrel Show"
Chicago rapper Chief Keef and his debut album Finally Rich just hit the shelves yesterday, but already critics of the 17-year-old rapper have surfaced. In Keef's backyard, a blogger for a local NBC affiliate has taken aim at the Windy City artist by referring to his music as a “minstrel show.”
Blogger Edward McClelland published an opinion piece this morning on Chicago NBC 5's website this morning, explaining that until last week he intended to purchase Chief Keef's major label debut. McClelland was especially critical of Keef's output, but admitted he was curious about the teenaged sensation's music and its depiction of Chicago's highly publicized gang violence. Moved to change his interest in Keef's music by the Newtown shooting tragedy, McClelland attacked the burgeoning “Drill” scene.

[F]rom what I've heard of it, is pretty lunkheaded: simplistic rhymes, primitive beats. But it's also a window into the world that has made Chicago the murder capital of America, and that piqued my curiosity…Since last week's murders at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut, though, I haven't had the stomach for any violent entertainment…I also don't want to pay $14 for the minstrel show of listening to a real live South Side thug. I don't want to support a scene that makes gangbanging a resume builder for music success.
McClelland is well within rights to question his investment in Chief Keef's music as a result of the horrific events at Sandy Hook Elementary.
However, why were the violent, gang-related deaths of countless African-Americans in his beloved Chicago over the summer not enough to sway him from buying Finally Rich in the first place?

Nicki Minaj Dishes On Why She Loves Being An “American Idol” Judge
In a promo for the upcoming season of American Idol, Nicki Minaj shares that the opportunity to join the singing competition as a judge has been inspiring.
She says that she experienced the disappointment of being told no many times herself while on the underground circuit in NYC, and that’s a big part of the audition process – being told no and continuing to believe in yourself.
“It feels pretty amazing to be a judge. I’m still getting used to it, and it’s inspiring to kind of feel like you’re finding someone right before they become a superstar, and hopefully you’re gonna help to mold that journey and kind of help to make them a better artist – and I’m excited for the kids that get to come here and have an opportunity to fulfill their dreams.”

AP.9 Says He Has Bucket Naked Photos of Ice T’s Wife, Coco
Just when we thought this story was fizzling down, one of our favorite reality TV couples have more fire added to a recent story. Radar Online reports that Coco and Ice-T may be on the rocks. As a backstory, some slightly inappropriate photos of Coco and a rapper named AP.9 in Vegas were released recently.
The photos, as some of you have already peeped, were of the two flirting and getting a lil’ too cozy for comfort. So what’s the big deal? Now, sources are saying that AP.9 is bragging that he has evidence that their encounter wasn’t as innocent as Coco has claimed!
“AP.9 has been bragging that he has photosof Coco with him in a private room in Vegas, and that in some of them she’s on a bed, totally naked! After 13 Days, Nelson Mandela Still In Hospital With Lung Infection
Very concerning news for Nelson Mandela. On December 8th, he was admitted into a South African hospital after being diagnosed with a lung infection and undergoing gallstone surgery. Presidential spokesman Mac Maharaj said Thursday that there is no update on his medical status. President Jacob Zuma also chimed in on the 94-year-old’s status, stating that Mandela required “extraordinary care” due to his age and could spend several more days in the hospital recovering.

HIV Cases Decline In Black Women, But Increase in Gay Men
This may good news for black women, while the general rate of HIV of new HIV infections in the United States has remained the same over the last decade, a new government report shows that it is decreasing among black women and increasing among young gay and bisexual men.
“The data suggests that [black] women are starting to take control,” says Dr. Kevin Fenton, director of CDC’s National Center for HIV/AIDS. “They are realizing that this is a threat to their families and their lives.”
There is no clear cause and effect, Fenton says, and a variety of reasons could explain this recent decline. However, over the last five years, the CDC says it’s increased its HIV prevention efforts in the black community, including partnering with organizations to increase HIV testing and treatment.
From 2008 to 2010, black women experienced a 21 percent decrease in new HIV infections (from 7,700 to 6,100). But overall, African Americans are the racial group most affected by HIV (with an HIV rate almost eight times higher than white people), comprising 44 percent of all the new infections in 2010.
The report also showed that young men who have sex with men experienced a 22 percent increase in new HIV infections during the same time period (from 7,200 to 8,800). Men who have sex with men — a term used by researchers to focus on behavior and bypass issues of sexual identity — comprised about 78 percent of new HIV infections in men in 2010, and 63 percent of total new HIV infections in both men and women that year, the report said.
Young black men who have sex with men fared the worst. This group — ages 13 to 24 — actually had an increase in HIV cases from 2008 to 2010, and accounted for more new infections than any other race, ethnicity, age group or gender.
“The crisis among young gay and bisexual men is really a threat to the next generation of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered individuals,” says Fenton.

Diddy put his foot in his mouth in a majorly awkward way, and it was all caught on tape. In a recording— which looks like it was taken from his album release party two years ago where an unlucky model's hair caught on fire—Diddy talked about sharing the sheets with a young Usher.
The encounters (strictly platonic of course) occurred when the Hip-Hop mogul was of age, and Usher was only 10. “That's my brother right here, from day one we used to wake up, and — I mean, damn, pause. But, like check this out…” he starts amid laughter from Kevin Hart, and a mean side-eye from Usher. “I mean, I mean…back in the days, when he was like 10 and I was a little bit older…we used to fight over the Frosted Flakes. Fantasia’s been readying her fourth studio album, and just days before Christmas, she’s giving fans a preview of some new music with her single titled “Lose to Win.”
On the track, the 28-year-old songstress sings about the heartache of trying to make a relationship work, when only one person in it, wants it to last.
