Star Kerry Washington Covers "WOMEN'S HEALTH"
On the Decemeber cover of "Women's Health" actress Kerry Washington, who stars as Olivia Pope in the ABC smash hit "Scandal" poses in a sexy tuxedo style blazer and panties. Inside, the actress talks about how she keeps in shape, where she would be outside of Hollywood and her starring role in Django Unchained with Jamie Foxx. Here are the highlights:
On prepping for Django Unchained:
“One of the things that I really love most about my job is the research part of it….So, I studied a lot. It’s kind of hard to articulate the level of preparation that we all had to do for this film because so much of it was emotional and psychological preparation. It’s hard to talk about because we all had to go into a part of American history that is so dark and complicated and fraught with the past sins of this country.”
On what she’d be doing if she wasn’t an actress:
“If I wasn’t an actress, I would probably be a teacher. Either an elementary school teacher or a yoga teacher. Both of which I did when I was living in New York pursuing a career in acting. I liked doing both of those things very much. I think it would surprise people to know that what I really wanted to do as a child was to be the woman in the Shamu show at Sea World. And the big joke in my family is that I started taking Marine Biology and I was like, forget the whale, I’ll just be on stage by myself.”
On her go to snacks:
“I am not a vegan, but I like vegan protein shakes. I mix them with coconut water instead of regular water. That’s my secret to having them taste better. I love popcorn. I could live on popcorn. The writers of Scandal have made my character Olivia Pope have a similar relationship with popcorn. But I don’t mind because I get to eat popcorn at work.”

No matter how overdosed you might be on the subject of Michael Jackson – his private life does provide an interesting book. There’s always SOMETHING you didn’t know about his strange life. The latest expose is called “Untouchable: The Strange Life and Tragic Death of Michael Jackson” written by Randall Sullivan. We found his relationship with his family to be just as we suspected – he avoided them like the plague and they constantly tried to make money off him. In 2001, two tribute concerts celebrating Michael’s 30th anniversary in music were planned at Madison Square Garden. Each family member demanded $250,000 to attend, even for just sitting in the audience! When Jermaine learned that Michael’s take from the shows could reach 10 million, he pushed his parents to demand another $500,000 each. Even Michael’s friendships were costly - Marlon Brando chiseled money out of Michael by charging his “friend” a million dollars for a rambling “tribute video” for the event, which the crowd booed! Wendy Williams takes Heidi Klum to task for flaunting romance with her longtime bodyguard.
Wendy Williams is really not happy with Heidi Klum.
On her self-titled talk show Tuesday, Williams, 48, tore into the Project Runway host, 39, and her intense new romance with her longtime bodyguard Martin Kirsten.
Although Klum went public with the relationship -- her first since she and husband Seal announced their separation in early 2012 -- in September, Williams argued to her audience that Klum and Kirsten have been romantically involved for much longer than that.
"He's worked for Heidi in the family for four years. Seal, you know what that means -- and not just when you were out of town," she said, later adding, "I don't think this is a new relationship, do you?"

After hyping fans up with a teaser over the weekend, J. Cole has now officially released his new single, Miss America. The track is the first offering from Jermaine’s upcoming, sophomore album, Born Sinner, which is set to drop January 28.

Isaiah Washington Spotted Playing DC Sniper In ‘Blue Caprice’ Movie
Isaiah Washington was spotted on the set of his new movie, “Blue Caprice.” The film is a depiction of the horrific DC sniper attacks from 2002. Washington plays John Allen Williams, who took the life of 10 people, before he was caught and apprehended by police.
Williams, who changed his last name to Muhhamad after joining the Nation of Islam years before the shootings, had a young accomplice named Lee Boyd Malvo.
The two were caught after police informed the public to look out for a blue Chevy Caprice that they drove. Muhammad was convicted and executed by lethal injection in 2009. The film is being shot in New York City.
HEALTHY NEWS: Pepsi Introduces A Fat Blocking Soda
Pepsi unveiled a new fat blocking soda in its Japan market. “Pepsi Special,” contains dextrin, a fiber that allegedly helps reduce fat levels in the body.
The “Pepsi Special,” which goes on sale tomorrow, contains dextrin—a fiber that supposedly helps to reduce fat levels. While this is Pepsi’s first foray into “health food,” the company is no stranger to introducing weird flavors in Japan: Past Pepsi offerings include salty watermelon and strawberry and milk.
It’s a soluble fiber that absorbs water as it moves through our intestines. Although adding fiber to your daily diet is a good idea, it isn’t the greatest idea when combined with a sugary drink.
The Atlantic called adding fiber to soda and calling it healthy “insidious” because it could lead many people to drink more soda – and any health benefits from the added fiber would be negated.
As with everything, too much fiber isn’t good for you. 20 to 40 grams of fiber daily are an essential part of a healthy diet. Too much fiber can also cause digestive issues.

FASHION FAB: The Folks come out at The 2012 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards
Chanel Iman, in a low cut golden gown, was amongst the beautiful folks spotted at the 2012 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards.
This was the seventh year of the event where one designer is awarded a $300,000 prize and paired with an industry veteran for a yearlong mentorship. And the stylish event went down at Center 548 in NYC.
Fab model Liya Kebede, who we last saw campaigning for President Obama, walked the red carpet. She rocked a Proenza Schouler dress and black sandals.

James Bond actor Daniel Craig thinks Rihanna would make a better Bond Girl than Beyonce because Rihanna is dirtier.
Daniel Craig is back as James Bond in Skyfall, which has the actor battling villain Javier Bardem and tempted by the beautiful Bérénice Marlohe.
But who would make a better hypothetical Bond Girl in the future: Beyonce or Rihanna?
That was the question put to Craig during a recent sit-down with Global Grind.
And Craig had a quick answer: Rihanna.

Kim Zolciak Leaving RHOA Mid-Season???
Kim Zolciak will be the first housewife ever replaced mid-season.
There has been a lot of speculation about what is going on with the ladies in the peach state. While some (okay, one) of the women has moved on from reality television (although she's happy to cause drama and pick up her check when she's not acting on a new sitcom), the others want to hold on to their Bravo fame with every inch of their manicured claws. That said, what's to become of Kim who has distanced herself from cast members while focusing on her spin-off career? That, my friends, is the million dollar question…and the answer will make housewives' history!
If you believe Tamara Tattles (and who doesn't??), Kim is fine to fall by the wayside on this franchise. She knows who butters her bread…it's Andy Cohen and not NeNe.
Although I can understand how that distinction could get blurred. The site always has the dirt on the Atlanta happenings, and apparently Kim is no one's favorite cast mate. Due to her pregnancy, Bravo allowed her to film a minimal amount during the season, and the other women, especially her former friend Kandi Burruss, viewed her as being a diva who got special treatment from the network. It seems that she was always the last to arrive and the first to leave. Of course, she was being evicted from her house at the time. That can cause a lot of stress!
Even juicier is the gossip that Kim will be the first ever housewife replaced mid-season. We've all seen the previews of Kim screaming at one of the camera crew to get out her face (expletives and all!), and according to Tamara, that's the last we're going to see of Kim! Whoa! I totally didn't see that coming!
Jon Bon Jovi’s daughter Stephanie arrested after overdose
Jon Bon Jovi’s daughter was arrested after allegedly overdosing on heroin. Stephanie Rose Bongiovi was arrested early Wednesday morning, after cops responded to a dorm room at Hamilton College, in upstate New York, where a female had allegedly overdosed on heroin and was unresponsive. Volunteer medical personnel were already at the scene when police arrived.
“On Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, members of the Kirkland Police Department arrested two Hamilton College students. One was charged with possession of a controlled substance, 7th degree, and the second was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, 7th degree and possession of drug paraphernalia,” the statement said. “All are misdemeanors. In addition to violating state law, the actions alleged to have been committed by the students violate Hamilton College policy. The college is cooperating with the police investigation.”
