Adele Covers ‘Rolling Stone’ Magazine
Adele is the face of Rolling Stone’s “Women Who Rock 2012″ issue. In the October issue, the publication pays tribute to women in the industry who are making strides in music, and as we can see Adele is one of them.

On writing sessions being therapeutic: “We broke up mutually, and I was desperate to write about it ’causes I can’t talk about my feelings to anyone. To my mom, to my therapist, to friends, to myself in the mirror – I can’t really do it. I’ve always written down how I feel.”
On not being a fan of gossip: “My friends all read gossip s**t, and they’re like, ‘I heard you’re going now with blah blah,’ and I haven’t even met these people. It’s bulls**t.”
Aretha Franklin on Adele:
“It’s been a long time since an artist like Adele has come along. Carol King is the last person who wrote the kind of lyrics women immediately could relate to. I love to hear a schoolgirl on the school bus yellin’, ‘We coulda had it all!’”

Kevin Garnett IS NOT USING Ray Allen Anymore!!
Kevin Garnett has cut ties with Ray Allen now that he left for the Heat. On Friday, Garnett said he no longer is speaking to longtime Boston Celtics teammate Allen after he signed with the rival Miami Heat over the summer.
Speaking Saturday after his first official practice with the Heat, Allen said he was disappointed at Garnett’s sentiment. “That’s a shame,” Allen said. “I’m a good person to talk to on the phone. … I’ve been in weird trade situations the last few years. You always felt you had one foot in and one foot out, so I can’t worry about it.”
Allen signed a two-year deal with Miami for just a little more than $6 million, spurning an offer from Boston that was believed to be worth twice as much.
“I don’t have Ray’s number anymore,” Garnett said Friday. “I’m not trying to communicate. I’m just being honest with everybody in here. … It’s just what it is.”
Pierce was a little less harsh, but still treated it like a bad breakup.
“I was very surprised by Ray’s decision,” Pierce told The Globe. “I thought we would finish our careers together. He’s a grownup, he has to make a decision that’s best for his family.”

Aguilera to Record Execs: 'I'm a fat girl. Get over it!'
Christina Aguilera has opened up about her struggles with weight and the pressure put on her by record industry executives to be skinny.
The Voice star told Billboard magazine: 'During the promotion of Stripped in 2002 I got tired of being a skinny, white girl.'
Aguilera, who has natural Latin curves, said: 'I am Ecuadorian but people felt so safe passing me off as a skinny, blue-eyed white girl.'
'The next time my label saw me, I was heavier, darker and full of piercings!' the five-time Grammy Award winner laughed. 'Let me tell you, that wasn't an easy pill for them to swallow. I had gained about 15 pounds during promotion and during my Stripped tour.'
'They called this serious emergency meeting about how there was a lot of backlash about my weight,' she said.
'Basically, they told me I would effect a lot of people if I gained weight -- the production, musical directors.'
'[They claimed] people I toured with would also miss out if I gained weight because I would sell no records or tickets for my shows,' she adds.
'I was young, so I lost the weight quickly and was toothpick thin during Back to Basics promos and touring."
But this year, older and wiser, the Fighter singer was ready to hit back at music execs.
When is came to working on the soon to-be-released CD, Lotus, she told them: '
'You are working with a fat girl. Know it now and get over it.'
'They need a reminder sometimes that I don't belong to them. It's my body,' she said.
'My body can't put anyone in jeopardy of not making money anymore—my body is just not on the table that way anymore.'
After the failure of her 2010 album Bionic, Aguilera hopes that Lotus, in stores November 13, will mark a comeback.
'This album represents a celebration of the new me.
'And to me the lotus has always represented this unbreakable flower that withstands any harsh weather conditions in its surroundings.
'It withstands time and remains beautiful and strong throughout the years,' she said.
'I tried to infuse as much as I could to promote strength and inspire people with that message,' Aguilera explained.
'And now I'm at a place at 31, where the last time I felt this way was when I was 21.. and I had a lot to say and a lot to express.'

Usher Tells Ex-Wife: “Get Outta My House”
R&B singer Usher just gave ex-wife Tameka Raymond a notice that her mansion is going up for sale. Tameka’s lived in the mansion for a few years now, but per the former couple’s 2009 divorce decree, Usher can sell the property whenever he wants (since, we all know he paid for it), provided he gives Tmeka at least 60 days notice.
According to TMZ:
Tameka didn’t take the news well, seeing as she has no income of her own and has been financially dependent on Usher since the divorce. On the flip side, we’re told Usher feels he’s given Tameka plenty of time to get her act together … and enough is enough.

Bobbi Kristina pays tribute to her mother Whitney Houston as she posts candid pictures on Twitter
The pair had a close bond, and clearly Whitney Houston is never far from her daughter's mind.
Bobbi Kristina, the only child of the late singer, paid tribute to her mother in a series of Twitter pictures last week.
The pretty 19-year-old Tweeted: 'I will always love you <3' along with a self-portrait of herself smiling with her eyes closed.
In another photo, dressed in a blue top with matching blue accessories, eye-shadow and nail polish the aspiring actress Tweeted 'I am my mothers child (: # much love Xxxo'
The bereaved teen's relationship with father Bobby Brown has been unstable for some years now, and deteriorated further following Whitney Houston's death in February.
She even snubbed her father's wedding in June, instead opting to shoot for her Lifetime reality show.

Set to premiere on October 24, the show follows the Houston clan including Pat, Whitney's sister-in-law and manager, Pat's daughter Rayah, Whitney's brother Gary, Bobbi Kristina and Grammy Award-winning singer Cissy Houston in the aftermath of the pop superstar's tragic death.
'Pat Houston, Whitney's sister-in-law, manager and most trusted confidant, manages the business and estate of the beloved singer and her most prized possession, her daughter Bobbi Kristina,' said a Lifetime press release.
