Rihanna Announces 2013 ‘Diamonds World Tour’ Dates
Rihanna just announced the first U.S tour dates for her forthcoming Diamonds world tour, which kicks-off next year. Rihanna will begin her adventure on March 8th 2013 in Buffalo NY, and will continue in North America until settling into Brooklyn come May 4th.
More dates will be added as time goes by, and tickets go on sale in less than a week.

"Hunger Games: Catching Fire" Begins Filming in Georgia
Right on schedule, the sequel to "The Hunger Games" has begun principal photography (September 10).
Shooting primarily in Atlanta, Georgia, before moving to the beaches and jungles of Hawaii, "Catching Fire" will wrap in late December of this year.
Lionsgate's President of Productions, Eric Feig, said of the project, "The stakes are raised in every way in this second story, and we are thrilled to get the production underway in these perfect locations, with our excellent returning cast and some world class actors in new roles."
Returning stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson will be joined by Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Stanley Tucci, and Donald Sutherland.
The sequel to the blockbuster film follows Katniss as she returns home after winning the Hunger Games along with Peeta. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way, Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever.
Ochocinco Officially Charged With Misdemeanor Battery
It’s been over a month of speculation between the alleged head butting incident between Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson and his Basketball Wives’ wife Evelyn Lozada. Wednesday afternoon, we learned that Ocho had officially been charged with misdemeanor battery.
Since the incident, Evelyn has since filed for divorce, claiming their marriage had become “irretrievably broken”, while Ocho has noted on twitter and via ‘Hard Knocks’ that he does not want a divorce. There’s been no additional statement from Evelyn’s camp, since her Nightline interview.
Will & Jada Smith Bring The Kids To The Toronto Film Festival
The Smiths headed to Canada to partake in the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Papa Will is putting his mega star power behind a new political documentary called Free Angela Davis and All Political Prisoners.
Jada Pinkett Smith--rocking the same sexy zipped back Tom Ford dress as Kim K. & Jennifer Lopez--was on hand with her kiddies Jaden & Willow to support hubby Will Smith and a new political documentary.
Will is helping out director Shola Lynch--pictured in the middle of the top pic--with her new film about radical political activist Angela Davis (pictured in top pic next to Jada). Sidra Smith (twin sister of Tasha Smith and pictured next to Jaden in top pic) is also one of the producers.
The film, according to Eurweb, is one that documents Angela's efforts of political change in her own right:
The documentary chronicles the activism of (now Professor) Angela Davis, and the subsequent implications, which had her charged with attempted kidnapping and murder. It features interviews with Davis, her Lawyers, the FBI agents assigned to the case, and the journalists who covered one of the most volatile trials of the ’60s.
Davis’ imprisonment sparked a worldwide movement for her freedom as a political prisoner, while she was simultaneously being labeled a terrorist. The film wrestles with the meaning of political freedom in a democracy negotiated between the people and its government.

Singer/Rapper/Producer Akon has really kept with his traditional african roots and is sowing his oats abundantly. The creator of Konvict Records, reportedly in 2007 was already a father to 5 children with 3 different mothers, then had 2 more children out of wedlock in 2008 and 2009.
He recently filed to be the legal father and for joint custody of the two children that were born in 2008 and 2009 out of wedlock. He has also requested that the kids carry his last name and be eligible to inherit from him if he were to pass as would any of his other children that he had in marriage. As stated in thejasminebrand.com Akon is a good father to all of his kids and has been a part of their lives since day one. Akon had this to say:
“[To set the record straight], I never ran away from my responsibilities and I never plan to. Everything I am doing now is for [my other five kids] anyway, so the more kids I can have, the better. I just love them.”

Simon Cowell reveals Randy Jackson WILL be returning to American Idol
When news broke Randy Jackson would not be returning to American Idol it was as if the curse of Cowell and judges on the US show had claimed its final victim.
Not only was the music producer one of the originals, he was the only one who lasted season after season.
But media mogul Simon Cowell tweeted his delight that the long standing American Idol judge Randy would be returning for another series of the show, adding in the cryptic message that it was the 'right decision.'
Simon words, to his ,more than 3million followers, sparked rumours that the 56-year-old bassist had been made a better deal to stay.
It had been rumoured that popular Randy would not be returning as a judge on the hit show but instead would be taking on more of a mentor role.
There were also talks that the show's producers where planning on expanding the judging panel to four people.
Last season the panel featured Randy alongside Jennifer Lopez and Steve Tyler, however both J-Lo and Steve have both stood down.
Following Steve's departure Jennifer spoke to Idol host Ryan Seacrest about her decision to do the same.
She said: 'I honestly feel like the time has come that I have to get back to doing the other things that I do that I've put kind of on hold,'

Currently Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban and Adam Lambert are in the frame. The usually talkative Nicki has remained tight-lipped on the topic when questioned.She told E! news: 'I don't know yet. I really don't know. I have no comment on it.'
It is thought that Mariah is not to keen on the prospect of Nicki joining, although producers are tickled by the idea of feuding judges.
The 12th season of the show is due to air in the Autumn, Randy has been a judge since it began in 2002.

50 Cent says that the death of his manager Chris Lighty will not have an effect on his feelings towards Fat Joe.
50 Cent and Fat Joe recently attended Chris Lighty's funeral, putting them in the same place after years of feuding. But according to Fif, the run-in doesn't change his opinion on the Terror Squad chief.

During an interview on "The Ricky Smiley Morning Show" (via SOHH), the G-Unit leader said that Lighty's death doesn't inspire him to want to reconcile his issues with artists like Fat Joe, Rick Ross and Young Buck.
"Nah. You know what I think? A lot of times it's people who choose not to like you," he said. "Regardless, they could be across the street from you, they don't have to have a conversation or have anything to be a source of why they feel that way about you. You can't fix it in conversation with some of these people so I don't even look to resolve any of that. I just move forward without focusing on it."

Kenya Bell Cleans Up in her Divorce Settlement
*Let’s face it, you can walk away from a high-profile title without stumbling when you got bank following you.
Kenya Bell may not technically be a “basketball wife” any longer, but the former “Basketball Wives” star will be leaving the marriage with a lot of NBA dough.
You might recall, Kenya and Charlie were entangled in a bitter divorce battle over money. Charlie wanted Kenya to support him, claiming he makes pennies with no more NBA contract. Kenya wanted Charlie to give up a chunk of his seven-figure savings and pay child support.
But the outcome of a judgment filed on August 27 determines neither has to pay spousal support; but Charlie has to shell out $1,000/month in child support, but they’ll share custody of their two daughters. Kenya keeps the marital home in
Michigan, and the home bought for her parents. Charlie gets the condo in Vegas and the home he bought his parents.
As for cold hard cash, Kenya was awarded $780,000 from Charlie’s savings … leaving him with $656,000. She also gets half of the $670,000 from another account.
Kenya gets HALF OF EVERYTHING from the following: Charlie’s NBA 401k plan, his NBA retirement plan, his NBA pension, NBA welfare plan, and NBA supplement benefit plan.
Charlie does not get anything from Kenya’s “Basketball Wives” money.
