PIX FLIX: Brandy Blazes The Stage At MDA Show
These are new shots of the singer rocking the house at MDA Show of Strength special have surfaced.
Set to air on CBS on September 2nd, the showcase aims to educate viewers on the effects of muscular disease and efforts to combat it. Other acts tapped to perform include Carrie Underwood, Alanis Morissette, and the All American Rejects. Needless to say, Ms. Norwood will be flying the flag for ‘Urban’ on the show.

FLASH BACK…Celebs celebrating London after The Olympics ended! 
It was a big celeb-filled celebration over in London last weekend as the 2012 Olympic Games came to an end. And TEAM USA clearly came out the winners in the medal count.
Nas & Swizzy spent the weekend over in London. And made sure to party it up at The Roundhouse with their boys from TEAM USA basketball--Kobe & Carmelo. Nas said he was given tix to the Final game by Carmelo & LeBron, so he changed his flight (which was orginally going back to the states the day before) to watch history. Nice!
Nas also kicked it with track star LoLo Jones.
Swizzy also spent time with his daughter Nicole, who lives in London with her mother, and visited tons of art museums. Fun!
LaLa spent time with her good friend Ludacris and his girlfriend Eudoxie while doing some sightseeing in London. Luda was in Londontown to shoot Fast & The Furious 6.
LaLa also posted pics of her and Carmelo hanging out, and little Kiyan trying to wake up daddy at the hotel!
Her girl Estelle finally got back to her home city and they snapped pics in front of the MCM store's truck.
Track star Allyson Felix showed off her golden "triplets" as she called them as she did some promo on the last day of the Olympics.

Before The Death of Her Son, Tameka Raymond Had Reality TV Plans
Before the tragic death of her 11-year-old son, Kile, Tameka Raymond had plans to do a reality TV show, focusing on her life. Radar Online reports:
About a year ago Tameka was working out the details with the production company and deciding who she was going to go with…It was going to focus on her life, kids, business ventures, etc. However, it is unclear now if she will be following through with the show after the death of Kile – I’m sure that’s the last thing on her mind.”
Filming or production had not yet started. We hear that the 41-year-old mother has put her career and TV plans on hold, as she grieves the loss of her son. No further details about future TV plans have yet been released. Meanwhile, the custody battle between her and her ex-husband, Usher Raymond, continues.

Djimon answers every question willingly until the paps get around to his relationship with Kimora Lee Simmons. Instead of answering, 'we're doing just fine' Djimon goes silent until the Paparazzi change the subject.
When one of the paps says something about Djimon's evasive maneuver the actor snaps,
'I don't come across you on the street and ask you all these questions about your relationship.'

Hey Quincy Jones Who's That Girl?
Iconic music producer Quincy Jones was seen on the beach with his mystery boo after having lunch at Club 55 in St. Tropez, France. He's 79 and dude is all about living life during his golden years we see.
We're not sure who the young lady is yet, but Quincy seemed very affectionate with her. In the meantime, Quincy is producing the musical score for Lee Daniel's flick The Butler.
Whitney Houston’s Ex Vocal Coach Refuses to Watch ‘Sparkle’
*Whitney Houston’s former voice coach says he refuses to watch her final big-screen performance in “Sparkle” because it pains him to watch her trying to hit the high notes.
Houston hired Gary Catona to help plot her comeback following a period of prolonged drug abuse. He admits she was not ready to return to the studio – or the film set – when she signed on for her last film.
“When I first started working with her in 2005, she had lost 99.9 per cent of her voice. She could barely speak, let alone sing,” he tells the New York Post. “Her lifestyle choices had made her almost completely hoarse… She was not a disciplined person in her personal life, and, away from our sessions, she was under the influence of so many forces. She allowed other people to control her.”
Catona said Houston made a lot of progress, but it still wasn’t up to his gold standard when filming began, and he hates the thought of her legacy being anything less than her personal best.
“If we’d been given the proper amount of time, we would have got her voice back to 95 per cent of where she once was,” he said. “She went out and performed when she was nowhere near ready. I don’t think I can watch Sparkle, as seeing her performing below what I know she is capable of is too upsetting.”

Evelyn Lozada’s Brother-In-Law Passes, Loses Battle to Cancer
Extremely sad news, for Evelyn Lozada and her family. Her brother-in-law, the husband of Evelyn’s sister, Sylvia, has passed, losing his battle to cancer.
His name was Anthony Ochoa and Basketball Wives viewers learned about Anthony’s battle, when Evelyn shared that she wanted him to walk her down the aisle, in her wedding to Chad (Ochocinco) Johnson. He had suffered through a long bout with cancer and Evelyn would often send updates on Twitter, requesting prayer. She had even incorporated a ‘Fight Cancer’ t-shirt with her line. Tuesday morning, Evelyn confirmed the news with TMZ:
“Anthony was an amazing husband, father, and brother-in-law. He will be dearly missed.”

106 & Park Host Terrence J Is Heading to Entertainment Tonight
Well it was announced a few months ago that 106 & Park host Terrence J, that whose full name is Terrence Jenkins, has landed a job with E! Entertainment.
Apparently, the 30-year-old host will be co-hosting “E! News” with Giuliana Rancic. Ryan Seacrest perviously hosted with Rancic, however his “American Idol” schedule and his plans to do more contributing at NBC have him “over-extended.”
ET is fully supportive of his acting career as well so he will be able to work on the show as well a go out for more roles.

White Minnesota Teacher Called Black 6th Grade Students “Fat, Black And Stupid” stupid
The St. Paul Public School District and Timothy Olmsted, 6th grade teacher at the Heights Community School in St. Paul, Minnesota, are being sued by his students’ families. The lawsuit comes after students reported Olmsted’sdiscrimination against African-American students:
Olmsted resigned this past spring, but the school district is still paying him through the first week of October. Parents are upset that no disciplinary action has been taken against Olmsted.
Latasha Tolbert’s daughter was a student in Olmsted’s class. Tolbert spoke to CBS and said Olmsted, “told the entire class that it is easier for him to teach rich white folks, than poor black people,” and it didn’t stop there. He also told Tolbert’s daughter that she would be standing on the corner and begging for money one day.
Tolbert tried again and again to bring these incidents to the attention of school officials. The Star Tribune reports, in the lawsuit that was filed by parents, that Tolbert said she made 98 calls to Heights Principal Jayne Ropella about Olmsted’s behavior from September to December.
The lawsuit alleges Olmsted called black students “fat, black and stupid,” and even made black students sit in the back of his room or turn their desks to face the wall. Sixth grade, African-American student, Aylecia Ingram-Jones said she was forced to sit in the back solely because of the color of her skin.
This is not the first incident Olmsted is involved in. He has several reprimands from the district, including being suspended for five days without pay for giving a graphic description to his class of castrating horses and throwing testicles into the field for cats to eat. The Star Tribune reports Olmsted received another five-day suspension without pay in 2003 for giving a 6th grade student a birthday card containing sexual innuendo and making her read it to the class.
Although the lawsuit has been moved to the federal courts, the families’ lawyer, Meg Kane does not expect the case to go to trial for at least another year.
This is just ridiculous! How dare a teacher misuse his role and bully these children like that. Teachers hold one of the biggest influences on a child’s life, outside of their parents. This is not acceptable and he should be FIRED!!!

"Katherine is free to see Janet, Rebbie, or Randy, just not at that house. However, Katherine has absolutely no desire to see them right now because she is just heartbroken that they betrayed her trust and didn't tell her that Michael's children had been trying to contact her," the source says.
Katherine Jackson will "never publicly say anything negative about her children, it's just not who she is. However, she is just absolutely disappointed that Janet, Randy, Rebbie, and Jermaine would keep her in the dark like that. Jermaine has apologized, but Katherine can't forget it.
"Katherine recognizes that Randy was behind all of this, and wishes he would stop spouting off to the press about their family business. She isn't having any contact with him especially right now," the source says.
