President Obama Gets DAPPER For ESSENCE Magazine's July 2012 Cover

Our distinguished President, who turns 51 this August, is looking dapper on the new cover of Essence mag, on stands June 12th. He discusses his plan to improve the economy, our health, homes and future—and why he’s excited about the next four years. This month's issue also features a special salute to military families from First Lady Michelle Obama.

Mr. President spent time in New York City at a few fundraisers and even "performed" a "Barack On Broadway" show with former President Clinton. Nice!

Miami Hotel’s Tell Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocinco “We Don’t Want You Here”

Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada and NFL fiancé Chad Ochocinco are now being told by luxurious Miami hotel, “We don’t want you here”.

TMZ reports:
The reality TV couple is currently filming their “BB Wives” spin-off show “Ocho and Eve” … and the big season finale will feature their glamorous wedding — but the couple hit a snag because none of the best venues want to deal with their TV show drama.

We’re told the St. Regis, The Ritz, and Breakers have all turned the couple down so far … telling producers they didn’t want to deal with any fighting or risk having their hotels portrayed in a negative light on camera.

The wedding is set to film next month but with no location, we shall see what happens.

SPLITVILLE: Kimora Lee Simmons & Djimon Hounsou Headed For Divorce?

After a five-year relationship, Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Hounsou have reportedly separated. An unidentified source claims that both Simmons and Hounsou’s relationship is on the rocks due to money problems. All of these years, the source says that their luxurious lifestyle has been supported by hip-hop mogul and Kimora’s ex-husband Russell Simmons.

The source said their money issues started when Russell Simmons stopped funding the pair’s lifestyle. Kimora does seem to be downsizing as she has listed her $5.9M LA mansion for only $4.7M.

But Kimora recently tweeted about her “alleged” financial issues saying, “Wow, I put 1 of several properties I own (+ DONT live in) on the market & now apparently my whole life is fallin apart?!” Rumors, Rumors …”

And far as the breakup goes......responses have not been forthcoming. When asked about a split, Kimora's spokeswoman said only that “Kimora has a beautiful family life.” And Djimon's spokesperson said he was unavailable for comment because, “Djimon's been working in Vancouver for the past few months.”

Hmmm......
The source also added that “Kimora and Djimon were fighting on New Year’s Eve. He is a calm, super-nice person and she’s such a diva. I couldn’t believe they got together in the first place.”

If they have split, they won't be able to keep this quiet for very long.

Braxton Family Values Special Summer Season

After two seasons under their belt, Braxton Family Values will be returning for a new special season this summer! “The Braxtons is coming back in August,” revealed Tamar Braxton. ” I’m so excited. I’m just excited because we have a special summer time six weeks for everybody and it’s popping! God is amazing and I think when you have real life situations, people can relate,” she continued about the reality show. “I think it was necessary for us to do and I’m just glad we did it.”

In the meantime, the reality star is getting ready for a show of her own with hubby Vincent Herbert that will air in October.

Lindsay Lohan channels a cracked-out version of Liz Taylor

True story – as I glanced through the just-released photos, my eye barely stopped on these. You know why? Because I’ve trained myself to glance through thumbnails like a champ, and my eye only registered “Snooki… ignore.” But this is not Snooki. This is Lindsay Lohan. Who does that insult? The Cracken or Snooki?

Anyway, these are photos of Lindsay Lohan filming Liz & Dick in Los Angeles yesterday. I don’t know what time frame this is even supposed to be – like, is this when Elizabeth and Richard Burton were still in their “courtship” (while Taylor was still married to Eddie Fisher)? Or is this boat supposed to be Kalizma, the famous yacht that Richard and Elizabeth bought during their first marriage? Unknown.

I’m sort of glad the photos are so blurry and Snooki-tastic. I haven’t built up the strength for lots of close-up images of Lindsay’s crack-face as she attempts to morph into Elizabeth. TMZ did get their hands on what seemed like an official promotional still from the production - you can see it here. Horrible wig. Horrible colored contact lenses. She really looks absolutely nothing like Elizabeth Taylor. She just looks like a crackhead in a busted wig and a decent costume.

Oh, and Lifetime just released this first official promotional image. Okay, ignore the Cracken for a second – that dude (Grant Bowler) really is channeling Richard Burton, isn’t he? I’m worried about poor Grant Bowler. I’m worried that he’s going to get high just from nuzzling Lindsay’s neck.

DAMN Rihanna Enjoys What’s really Hood?

Get a load of Rihanna, doing her best impression of her own singing voice in Santa Monica.

Sans her entourage and minders, the deteriorating Pop star arrived by taxi at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf where she picked up a late night coffee, looking a little worse for wear.

Meeting and greeting fans in the store as she waited for her order, her sighting comes after she announced she was relocating to London, perhaps in a bid to be closer with up and coming rival Rita Ora who is based in the city.

OPRAH WINFREY has been stripped of executive powers at her struggling OWN network.
The National Enquirer explains:
IN a humiliating power coup, OPRAH WINFREY has been stripped of executive powers at her struggling OWN network and now pals fear the worst is yet to come!
The media mogul was reduced to tears when her chief financial backer decided to curtail her control over the network she had worked her fingers to the bone to launch, say sources.

While Oprah retains her title of CEO, it’s in name only, revealed the insider.

“They now realize that she was too inexperienced to run the network,” said the insider. “So she was stripped of her power. She’s no longer in a position to make executive decisions or hire staff without consulting top Discovery executives first.”

“Her closest friends, including BFF Gayle King, are rallying to give her support during what she’s calling ‘one of the lowest points’ of her life. But Oprah’s emotional condition continues to deteriorate.”

Bobby Womack Cancer Free After Surgery

Bobby Womack was diagnosed with colon cancer earlier this year — but now the singer is cancer-free. “We’re delighted to announce that Bobby Womack has successfully undergone surgery for suspected colon cancer,” an update on the singer’s Facebook page reads. “A tumour was removed last night which turned out to be cancer free. We wish him all the best in his recovery from the operation. Thank you for all your kind messages and support.” Womack’s doctors believed that he was suffering from colon cancer after the singer was hospitalized for pneumonia earlier this year.

Has G.O.O.D. Music Signed Mason Betha?

Hip-Hop fans and concert-goers loved seeing Mason Betha back on stage for Hot 97′s Summer Jam. And it sounds like others were a fan of his return too. Based on his Tuesday afternoon tweet and some internal rumblings, there’s a chance that Ma$e may be signing to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music. He tweeted:

Wow… I just got a G.O.O.D. offer!!!

G.O.O.D. currently has John Legend, Big Sean, Kid Cudi, Mr. Hudson, Cyhi the Prynce, Yasiin Bey, Pusha T, D’Banj, Q-Tip, 2 Chainz and Teyana Taylor. Would signing Ma$e be good move for Ye’s label? Better yet, would that be a good fit for Ma$e’s return?

Mike Tyson says don’t feel sorry for Terrell Owens

Mike Tyson knows a little something about the perils of stardom and fast money. He recently weighed in on Terrell Owens child support and financial issues:
On T.O.’s recent appearance on Dr. Phil and T.O.’s financial woes:

“Well, listen, I can only say about myself. It took a good 18, 20 years for me to go broke, but he got broke pretty quick. It happened quick! We saw him, heard about him signing this contract, but from what you told me, he busted his whole bill. That can happen man when you take liberties for granted.”

If he thinks the upbringing he and T.O. experienced played a role in the kind of quick rise and fall:
“Oh, man, he’s not even in my same league as far as getting blood sucked. He’s not even in my league. But we’re talking about this issue, so, yeah, they’re out there. But in order to get your blood sucked, you have to be in position to want to suck some blood too. Even the con cons the con because he wants to con somebody.

If he thinks people should feel sorry for T.O. for his fall from grace:

“No, we should have no sympathy for him, he’s a grown man. We should be jealous and pissed off he has so much god*****d fun. Shoot! That’s what we should be jealous about. Listen, this is one thing. When you’re living that life you think you’re a big boy — and this is one thing I learned when I was rolling like a big boy — I said ‘don’t worry about it, I can handle it, I’m a big boy.’ Big boys have big responsibilities and big circumstances.”

I couldn’t have said it better myself. To whom much is given, much is required. Terrell is still holding on to his NFL dream, and of course you can understand that. It’s what he’s done for the bulk of his life, it’s what created his riches. But now it’s time to switch up. I know it seems as if everyone is piling on Terell. He’s fired his agent, Drew Rosenhaus in an attempt to reposition himself for a comeback but with his recent issues with the Allen Wrangles, what team is willing to take a chance on a troubled 38 year old wideout?
