“The Avengers” Promo Poster Released: First Look!

Adding to the excitement and anticipation, Walt Disney Pictures has released the promotional poster for the upcoming superhero flick “Marvel’s The Avengers.”

The poster features Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, and Samuel L. Jackson in their full costumes, and it all looks mighty impressive.

Interestingly enough, the UK version of the poster lists the title of the movie as “Marvel’s Avengers Assemble,” though the image is the same.
“Marvel’s The Avengers” hits theaters in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D on May 4th and is written and directed by Joss Whedon.

In the past five years that XXL has been picking Freshman classes, never once has making the list been easy. This year included. Similar to 2011, the hype around the Freshmen Class has continued to grow by leaps and bounds, surprising even us with its popularity. For this class the buzz began earlier than ever, four months before the cover was even shot. And it seemed like everyone had a list. From subdued music fans to diehard rap junkies, from Twitter stalkers to industry heavies and featherweights, folks wanted their list to be the XXL list. We listened, asked opinions, took notes.

A Tale of 2 Azalea’s

Now there seems to be some beef over the 2 Azalea’s Iggy Azealia and Azalea Banks. Because XXL chose Iggy and not Azalea. Well Azealia Banks (birth name) did not like it and chose fire some shots at Iggy and also fired some at the white rapper Kreyshaun and Nicki Minaj while she was at it.

“Iggy Azalea on the XXL freshman list is all wrong,” remarked Banks on Twitter. “How can you endorse a white woman who called herself a ‘runaway slave master’?”

She continued, “Sorry guys. But I’m pro black girl. I’m not anti white girl, but I’m also not here for any1 outside of my culture trying to trivialize very serious aspects of it.”
Iggy, who is affiliated with T.I.’s Grand Hustle family, did not personally address the comments, but did respond to her critics. “You can’t block my blessings! Today I’m celebrating! Get with it or kick rocks!” she tweeted. “First female freshman. Ever. Period. Thanks world! I used to stick XXL on my bedroom door, now I’m on the cover. Life is great.”

Iggy is not Banks’ first target. The Harlem firecracker previously lashed out at Nicki Minaj. “The butt, the hair, the this, the that, all the other shit, like… As much respect that I have for her, we’ve seen you do this already, what else can you do?” she told The Hundreds Magazine of the Young Money rapper.

Kreayshawn also bore the brunt of her wrath. “You’re a dumb bitch. And you can’t rap. I’ll sit on your face. Fall back slut,” she told her after the “Gucci Gucci” rapper retweeted a link to her video via PornHub.

TREY SONGZ DEFENDS CHRIS BROWN DURING AN INTERVIEW

Trey Songz generally a personable guy — he is friendly, talkative, and easygoing, however beware of telling jokes about his friend, Chris Brown. During a recent interview with San Francisco’s Wild 94.9 radio station, Trey was asked what his pick up line might be if he runs into someone special. Unfortunately, the interviewer went about it the wrong way saying “Chris Brown uses, Hey can I get your number? I promise I won’t beat you.” 

Not taking that lightly, Trey immediately said “I’m not cool with that question. I’m not cool with this right here. That’s my homie. We’re not going to talk about Chris.” The interview abruptly ends after that.

NFL Star Michael Turner New GF Fights Baby Mama 'You At My House Now, B*tch'

Atlanta Falcons superstar running back Michael Turner broke up a girl-on-girl BRAWL in front of his home yesterday ... when his new GF allegedly attacked his baby mama with a golf club ... TMZ has learned.
Cops were called to Turner's Georgia mansion Monday afternoon ... and discovered 32-year-old Rasheeda Walker in front of the home ... bleeding from the side of her head.

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, Walker claims she has 2 children with Turner and is "upset because he refuses to see them." She also claims she's pregnant with Turner's 3rd child and wanted to talk to him about the situation. 

Walker told cops she knocked on the front door ... only to be ambushed by Turner's new GF Elizabeth Delacruz ... who was wielding a golf club and shouting, "YOU AT MY HOUSE NOW B*TCH."

Walker claims she grabbed the golf club away from Delacruz and the two began to fight ... until 5'10", 244-pound Turner came outside and broke the whole thing up.

According to the report, Delacruz told a slightly different story ... telling cops she only grabbed the golf club AFTER Walker sneaked into the house through an unlocked back door.
Cops report both women were scratched up ... and both suffered minor head wounds. 

Both women told cops they did NOT want to press charges ... but Walker was issued a criminal trespass warning and advised not to return to the home. We reached out to Walker -- but she had no comment on the situation.

Nicki Minaj Shoots Video For Pepsi Commercial

Nicki Minaj has been getting all sorts of play and business offerings since Pink Friday became a huge hit for female rap, and the music industry in general. Especially after Taylor Swift put her on, Nicki has been a staple name in everyone’s mouth.
Now that she’s taking over everything she touches, turning things to gold with a glance– Nicki has inked a deal with Pepsi and started shooting a commercial due out in April. Not coincidental, considering her sophomore album was pushed back to the same month.

Before the video clip was removed from Youtube, it was made news that the singer was rocking the same costume she and her dancers wore for Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve and performed “Moment For Life.” Nicki shot for the big brand’s commercial in Argentina.

We can only hope that Nicki’s Pepsi commercial will be anything like Beyoncé and Britney Spears’ previous campaigns.

The “Take a Bow” songstress looked cute and casual in a white painted top, distressed jeans, and white sneakers as she stopped to sign autographs and pose for pictures.

In career news, Ri-Ri is rumored to be in talks to star in a biopic about the recently-deceased pop queen Whitney Houston. Hopefully not I don’t think she pull it off and I am a Rih Rih Fan!

According to a report, Clive Davis will be heading up the project, and while Rihanna is the favorite for the role, ladies like Jennifer Hudson, Vivica Fox, and Jordin Sparks are also up for the part.

Kel Mitchell GETS HITCHED To Asia Lee!

First Kennan and now his former partna Kel got married y'all! The 33-year-old Chicago native actor hung up his jokes...for one day...to get serious with his new wife Asia Lee.

This is Kel's second marriage after getting divorced from Tyisha Hampton-Mitchell in 2005 after being married for 6 years.
Asia & Kel wed on January 8th, 2012. And by the way, the couple is still registered at Kohls, Crate & Barrel, Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, WAL*MART & Macys.

I do agree in a sense that there’s really no use in Katy sitting around and moping about Russell who quite clearly has already moved onto greener (i.e., newer) pastures himself. Yet Rihanna has no business suggesting men for her friends when she can’t stop defending her own abuser.

Cissy Houston Requesting Some Prayer Time In Whitney Houston’s Beverly Hotel Room

Whitney Houston has been deceased for almost three weeks, and her family is still mourning their loss. Bobbi Kristina allegedly took to dealing with the death of her mother with drug usage of her own, while Cissy Houston has been rumored to be planning on making her way back to Los Angeles to get some closure on the situation.
TMZ reports, “she wants to go back to room 434 at the Beverly Hilton hotel and reestablish a spiritual connection with her daughter … in order to come to terms with her sudden death.”

There she will just engage in some silent, lonesome prayer in order to finally be at peace and be able to continue on with her own life post-Whitney.

There aren’t any details about when or how Cissy is planning on returning to the dreaded hotel room where the legendary singer was found in the bathtub. It’s been made news that the visit to Los Angeles will be soon and the details are all being ironed out at the moment.

Jimmy Henchmen might get the death penalty

James 'Jimmy Henchmen' Rosemond is facing the death penalty for ordering the death of 50 Cent crony Lowell Fletcher...
Back in 2007 Jimmy Henchmen's Czar Entertainment and 50 Cent's G-Unit Records were embroiled in a tense rivalry stemming from 50 Cent's beef with Czar artist Game. 

The beef went nuclear after someone from G-Unit, thought to be Tony Yayo, slapped a random kid on the street for wearing a Czar Entertainment T-shirt. Big mistake. The random kid turned out to be Jimmy Henchmen's 14 year old son. Not long after that, Tony Yayo's mother's house got shot up
It was later revealed that the actual attacker was a guy by the name of Lowell Fletcher Shortly after the incident Lowell was convicted on unrelated charges and spent two years in jail. He was gunned down on a Bronx street in September 2009, two weeks after being paroled from a New York State prison.

On Friday February 24, 2012 Jimmy Henchmen, who is also alleged to have ordered the Tupac shooting at Quad city studios was officially charged with hiring two men to kill Lowell. He is facing the death penalty if convicted.
Jimmy is currently in jail awaiting trail on drug charges.
