Bishop Eddie Long Apologizes to Jewish Community
Bishop Eddie Long of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church issued an apology to the Anti-Defamation League for his role in a king-crowning ceremony last weekend. Long wrote a letter addressed to Bill Nigut, southeast regional director of the ADL — a Jewish group that fights anti-Semitism:
“The ceremony was not my suggestion, nor was it my intent, to participate in any ritual that is offensive in any manner to the Jewish community, or any group,” Bishop Long wrote in an open letter to Bill Nigut, “Furthermore, I sincerely denounce any action that depicts me as a King, for I am merely just a servant of the Lord.”

The AKOO fashion show by T.I In Atlanta
At Reign nightclub in Atlanta, rapper T.I. hosted the Akoo (his clothing line) Fashion Show, sponsored by ReeBok and Grey Goose. Comedian Kevin Hart and Kenny Burns were the hosts of the evening. And celebs filled the place for the show, featuring none other than T.I. and Tiny's own sons as three of the models.

Terrell Owens Gets A Win In Child Support Payments Case
Terrell Owens, former NFL player, just won his attempt to have all four of his child support payments decreased which is good in a bad sort of way.
Should have wore the rubber buddy, then you wouldn’t have to worry about the damn baby mommas you have take care of!
He had fallen behind on his support payments. He went to court to have his monthly payments, which ranged from $5,000 to $20,000 per child, decreased due to a drop in his income because he has not been signed to any NFL team.

The new amount has not been disclosed but a source tells TMZ the court has “drastically decrease the amount he was paying.” The new payments are said to be way more affordable and “accurately reflect the amount of money [Terrell] is making.”

Drake, who recently moved to Hollywood Hills, was also in attendance. The three were spotted leaving the Super Bowl afterparty at different times, just before 2 am with Drake and Rihanna exiting through the front and Chris Brown through the back.

SE The world has heard four albums of your seductive voice, and Chapter 5 brings some new Trey “Songz.” VMAN is a men’s fashion magazine that shines light on a new kind of man. How does Chapter 5 shine a new light on you?
TS As I’ve grown from a young man to a man, I think a lot of people have been able to see that progression [in the music], as far as my fans are concerned, as far as consumers are concerned, and just the general public. So I’ve gone from “Gotta Make It” to “Top of the World.” I’ve gone from “I Invented Sex” to “Sex Ain’t Better Than Love.” I think life is about growth and I think fashion, in a lot of ways, is about growth as well. I think the new album will reflect very much where I’m going as a person and what I’ve been through. Music, for me, is very much an expression of how I felt at the time when that song was made. And it’s almost been a year and a half since I put my last album out [2010’s Passion, Pain & Pleasure], so we’ll see how much I’ve grown and how much I’ve changed since that album’s dropped.

It’s something I’m very in love with.

SE There has been a lot of cyber bullying and a lot of hate toward young people, through the Internet, texting, and things of that nature. What message would you send to young people as far as bullying goes?
TS Bullying is childish, and a lot of kids get stuck in situations where obviously something is wrong at home, so it’s kind of a release for them. It’s a comfort blanket and it’s affecting so many people as well as themselves. It’s important to speak not only to the people being bullied but to the bullies as well. To the people out there who are being bullied, just stay strong. There’s only one you. I tell this to people all the time, to kids, to grown men, grown women: there’s only one you, and to think that being you is not enough is to say that God didn’t do his job, because He only made one you, and that alone should show you that you’re special.

Conrad Murray is prisonmates with Janet Jackson’s first husband, James DeBarge.

According to TMZ.com a judge in Georgia has ordered that the 24-year-old hip-hop star be arrested and held in custody.

The showbiz news website reports that the rapper's legal troubles stretches back to 2009 when he was ordered by a Tennessee court to pay nearly $100,000 to a tour bus company.
The firm sued the performer for allegedly not paying his bill.
TMZ.com reports that Bow Wow was ordered to produce documents in relation to the case in Georgia, where he lives.

The rapper allegedly never did this, prompting the company to file a motion to have him held in contempt.

NBC Apologizes For M.I.A.'S Super Bowl Middle Finger Moment
She's no stranger to controversy, and M.I.A. was back to her trouble-making ways during Sunday night's (February 5) Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis.
The 36-year-old singer was performing alongside Madonna and Nicki Minaj when she suddenly decided to flip up her middle finger for the NBC cameras covering the Bridgestone sponsored halftime show.

Soul Train Flash Mob Pays Tribute to Don Cornelius
Soul Train fans gathered in New York's Times Square over the weekend to boogie down in a tribute to the show's creator Don Cornelius.
About 100 people participated in Saturday's "flash mob" event, where Soul Train fans wearing afro wigs and bell bottoms recreated a popular segment of the show in which people took turns dancing toward a TV camera while showing off their most outrageous moves.

Fans in attendance said it was the best way they could pay tribute to the legendary Cornelius, who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound last week at age 75.
