DRAKE’S TANTRUM COSTS HIM VIBE COVER

Drake was slated to appear on the latest cover of Vibe magazine to accompany the story, The Dark Side of Aubrey Graham — but his diva-like temper tantrum during photo shoot, ruined the plans. He fouled everything up when he arrived more than eight hours late to the shoot and refused to wear any of the wardrobe provided for him. He brought his own clothes, which was mostly Hemès and leather bomber jackets, however it was a shoot about spring fashion. “He was going on and on about wearing his leather bomber, and wasn’t letting it go,” revealed a source at the shoot. He said the female stylist was too aggressive, that he wasn’t a model and he wasn’t feeling the vibe. He hopped in his SUV and left.
To make up for the money lost on the shoot his camp agreed to pay the $10,000 in overage fees for the rental space. The magazine went with Drake’s label mate, Nicki Minaj for the issue.

Jennifer Williams Talks About Getting SMACKED
Jennifer Williams called into iPower 92.1 to chat with TT Torrez where she got into the juicy details about her getting smacked around on “Basketball Wives.”
Find out what she had to say:

On Evelyn’s assistant smacking her in the face:
“She wants her 15 minutes of fame because ‘I hit Jennifer in the face.”
Jennifer says she and Evelyn’s assistant, Nia Cook, were actually friends at one point. Jennifer said once she began working for Evelyn she fell back since she and Evelyn had their issues. She said Nia use to stay at her house in Miami and that she did have her keys at one time but doesn’t have them now.
Nia filed a police report saying Jennifer stole her house keys after she learned Jennifer filed a police report on her after she smacked her.

“It’s so stupid, but unfortunately you can go to the cops and you can allege that someone did anything. I’m not going to tolerate abuse from anyone, whether it’s a man or a woman, so I’m taking the necessary steps to do what I have to do because I don’t think it’s right that people go around hitting people and think that it’s ok and there’s no repercussions. That’s crazy!”

The ESSENCE Black Women In Hollywood Luncheon!
The ladies kept it golden and white hot on the red carpet for the ESSENCE Black Women In Hollywood luncheon. During an emotional afternoon of empowering, uplifting, and embracing the fabulousness of black women in Hollywood, celebs hit the carpet in droves to celebrate accomplishments.
The little white dress seemed to be a popular choice on the red (black) carpet. Honoree Paula Patton, who gave an extremely emotional acceptance speech, donned a knee-length white Marchesa dress with silver pumps. She flew solo as her hubby Robin Thicke was in Chicago for work, but she still kept it sexy with a silver embellished bust line and red pout.
Chic honoree Kerry Washington rocked a peplum white dress with a red satin pump for her big afternoon. The "Scandal" actress commented that she's paying for her new Shonda Rhimes-created ABC show is successful so we can have more like it.
Viola Davis kept up the white trend in this simple yet sexy curve hugging Victora Beckham V-neck 3/4 sleeved dress. She rocked her natural hair which gave her the youthful glow we've been loving. And she was there to present to her good friend and co-star Octavia Spencer.
Honoree Octavia went on trend with a white button down paired with a black and grey cheetah skirt and a pop of color with purple Nine West sandals. "The Help" actress received a standing ovation for accomplishing her dreams.
Kelly Rowland kept it golden in her fab Jean Fares Couture dress and nude peep toe Louboutins.
And by the way, she was spotted once again with the same mystery man she's been seen in pics with lately--and whom we're assuming is her new boo.
Actress Jennifer Beals made a rare appearance on the carpet.
Producer/Writer Shonda Rhimes received the Lincoln Visionary Award for her work on "Grey's Anatomy," "Private Practice," and the upcoming drama "Scandal." She was even surprised on stage with a tiara from the Disney Co. (her ABC show's parent company) as they played into her motto that she gets to live out her dreams daily and get paid to do so.
"Grey's Anatomy" actors James Pickens, Jr., in a sheen heavy Hugo Boss suit, Chandra Wilson, in a Suzy Chen silver frock and Aldo shoes (she presented for Shonda), and Jesse James were all their to support their Exec. Producer.
Honoree Pam Grier showed how longevity in this business is indeed possible--she's been in the industry for 40 years! And even did her own stunts when she started out. Why? Because there were no black stunt women back then who could play her double.
And the fabulous Jordin Sparks was all sparkles...appropriately so...as she hit the event to perform a tribute to Whitney Houston. Her late co-star, who she commented was a mother and a friend to her, always encouraged her to be the best. And Ms. Jordin did a beautiful job performing, for the first time, "Look Into Your Heart" from the Sparkle film.
Tatyana Ali upped her sexy ante in this revealing gold number. The slnated cut-out bust revealed more than we're used to seeing her rock.
Anika Noni Rose did a Disney inspired frock with this yellow number.
Tatyana was spitted inside speaking with Siedah Garrett.
And Naturi Naughton was there as well posing it up with Kelly, Jeanette Jenkins--who rocked Tracy Reese--and Anika.
And Vanessa Bell Calloway, in a cute orange Zara dress, snapped a pic with Tatyana, a purple frock wearing Jurnee Smollett, and Yvette Nicole Brown.
FUN TIMES!

Game Order To Pay Police $5 Million Over “Stop Snitchin’ Stop Lyin’ DVD
Game is being forced to open up his wallet for five police officers in Greensboro, North Carolina. MyFox8 says on Tuesday a North Carolina appeals court upheld a 2010 ruling that awards five-million dollars to five officers who filed a defamation lawsuit against the rap star. The suit was filed in 2006 against Game, whose real name is Jayceon Taylor, and Bungalo Records, Inc. The lawsuit alleges that the officers were slandered and libeled by having their identities wrongfully used in a documentary called “Stop Snitchin’ Stop Lyin’.”” The officers’ appearance in the documentary stems from Game’s arrest in October of 2005. The rapper and his entourage were asked to leave a North Carolina mall for reportedly causing a disturbance. The police were eventually called and Game was arrested on charges such as criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct.
(Photo Not Real)A member of Game’s entourage videotaped the arrest, and an edited version of the footage appeared on “Stop Snitchin’ Stop Lyin’.” The court has ruled, however, that the clip was “heavily edited,” and made it appear as if Game was “wrongfully arrested.” All five officers will now receive one-million dollars each in compensatory damages.
