Covers DT Magazine In Pre-Baby Body Lingerie
On the cover appears a shot of King Bey in her “Best Thing I Never
Had” getup that appeared in her album artwork. Though this is a different shot,
Bey is still oozing sex appeal in the feminine and flirty lingerie courtesy of
young and upcoming fashion designer Lleah Rae.
The pictorial in the magazine showcases quite a few of Bey’s 4
shots, complete with couture gowns, ruffled sleeves, turquoise heels and some
major headpieces.
Chris Brown Snatching A Fan’s Phone? Might get
Arrested!
Every time Chris gets some good luck (The Grammys),
there is some drama that follows right behind it.
An arrest warrant is being prepared as we speak for Chris after he allegedly snatched up a fan’s phone this past weekend in Miami. According to the police report which was filed in the wee hours of Sunday morning, a woman by the name of Christal Spann told officers that she was hanging out inside the nightclub for Chris’ Grammy celebration when she saw Chris and Tyga leave through a side door. She and her friends stepped out of the club hoping to get a quick pic of him on her $500 white iPhone 4S.
She spotted him sitting in a Bentley and when she tried taking a photo, he reached at her through the window, grabbed her phone and allegedly said:
“B—- you ain’t going to put that on no website.”
He drove off and she called the police who are calling it “robbery by sudden snatching.”

According to Radar Online, Deborah Doty from the Miami
PD made a statement saying that the incident is still under investigation but a
warrant for his arrest may be issued today, (although it is believed that he is
not in Miami right now):
“An incident report was filed against Mr. Brown, and the Florida State Attorney’s Office will be issuing a warrant for his arrest this afternoon, I can’t tell you what time, but it will be today.”
If this all goes down, Chris could be locked up for a probation violation on top of the new charges from the “robbery.”

It’s hard to believe that Chris would snatch up
someone’s phone and think there wouldn’t be any repercussions. This past
weekend, a fan approached him at the Miami Heat game and he was all smiles as he
allowed the fan to take the pic.
Unless he was out there doing something he
had no business doing that night, it just doesn’t make much sense...McDonald’s Ad Shows A Brown Girl Wishing She Could Be a White Barbie: Is It Offensive?
McDonald’s just can’t seem to get it right. They have been under
serious scrutiny from consumers and corporations for continuously promoting
unhealthy food and eating habits. Furthermore, their advertising has ruffled
more than a few feathers. McDonald’s latest promotion, targeting children, has
critics in an uproar. They have partnered with Mattel to give away Barbie Dolls
with meals and the inherent problem lies with the presentation. The ad shows a
brown-skinned girl with tight ringlets wishing she could be an all white,
blonde, straight-haired blue-eyed Barbie doll. Not one of the Barbie dolls are
brown even though the company does sell brown baby dolls.
This type of imaging just rocks me to the core as this ad further
pushes the stereotype that whites are superior to all other races and every
little girl dreams of looking like a white woman. What is this ad saying to our
little black/brown girls? That European features are the standard and that women
that look like them are not considered beautiful? This can have long-term
effects on young girls, making them internalize a sense of inferiority and
self-hate. I am disappointed and displeased with McDonalds Corporation, and the
fact that they didn’t see anything wrong with this ad.
Chroniclers, do you see anything wrong with it? Do you believe
this ad is damaging, offensive and irresponsible?
OH SNAP: Whitney Houston’s Lawyer Says Bobby Brown Violated Agreement at Funeral
Whitney Houston’s attorney “Mark Twiggs” says thatBobby Brown
breached an agreement by trying to talk to the former couple’s daughter during
the funeral. Triggs said that obby was suppose to sit in the first three rows
with the Houston’s family and not his children, who are not Houston’s. the
attorney said that Bobby’s children were told that they must sit close to the
back with their uncle Tommy.
Security “discretely, politely, respectfully asked the children to
sit with their uncle” Triggs wold WVEE-FM in Atlanta. He said Bobby also had
agreed not to try to speak with Houston-Brown during the service but he tried to
anyway.
“The other part of our agreement was if Bobbi Kristina reached out to Bobby then security was certainly going to make sure that happened. Brown had said that he has been asked to move several times during the service by security, which he said harassed his family during Saturday’s invitation only funeral.
Brown had been defended by the Revs. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton who both said that Brown had done nothing wrong.
Now its obvious that Bobby and Bobbi Kristina do not have much a of
a relationship. I think it’s tired of Whitney’s attorney to go public with this.
And it looks like grandstanding all over again. So if Bobby really do not have a
relationship with them. I think it would have been better for him to just attend
the wake and be done wit it!
Houston, a former admitted drug addict, died earlier this month one
day before the Grammy Awards. The cause of her death has not been
released.

WWJD? Man Kicks and Stomped Girlfriend’s Breast Implant Until it Exploded
A poor woman is walking around with only one titty/breast from a
domestic dispute after her boyfriend stomped and punched her in the chest until
her breast implants went BOOM!
Samuel Cole, 60 was arrested by police in Ohio after he drove his
unidentified girlfriend to the hospital for treatment following an attack. Cole
threatened the women not to tell the police.
According to their police report,
the injuries were sustained after a verbal dispute between the pair that
morning. During the dispute Cole struck the victim several times in the face
with a closed fist causing injuries. When the woman fell to the floor, he
continued to attack her with his foot, stomping on her left breast. Cole then
choked her and placed ‘his hand over her mouth and nose in an attempt to
suffocate her. He stopped the assault as his victim began to pass out. Cole was
charged with felonious assault and held in jail on a $50,000
bond.
He has been ordered to stay away from the woman. In a sworn
statement that woman further claimed he threatened to kill her with a razor
blade, the report states. In 2004 Cole was arrested in another domestic violence
case where his victim accused him of beating her with a weight.
When will you women learn to stay out a man’s pockets when he’s

IN FASHION MAGS: Vogue Italia EIC Franca Sozzani Promises An Africa Issue: Are You Excited For It?
At the Diane von Furstenberg Fall 2012 show, L’Uomo Vogue’s Franca
Sozzani revealed that she is working on another Africa-themed issue for the
spring to hit newsstands in May or June.
Sozzani stated the issue would be
“about people who are from Africa in a positive way.” Since these one-off issues
have proven to be lucrative and there is documented interest for them, why can’t
there be an entire magazine devoted to fashion in the African diaspora? Mario
Epanya famously pitched Vogue Africa to Conde Nast and was rejected (his
photography above). If Vogue Italia is planning yet another one-off issue, why
reject Epanya’s idea? And has there been an increase in diversity in Vogue’s
pages in general?

are hard right now so I told these promoters that in every city I wanted the
tickets to start at $25. NOTICE I SAID START AT $25. Ok. But they go up from
there. Two thangs I want you to be sure of...
One is that I said START AT $25,
and the other is that I wanted to be sure that everybody can come have a good
time.
Now if you order on that computer they make you pay a whole lot extra
charges. So what I would suggest is that you take a trip to the theatre box
office and save them $15 and sometimes $30 fees that they put on top of the
ticket prices. I ain't got nothing to do with that. That's they fees chil', they
call it a service charge. So to avoid them high fees, go to the box office
honey. And get 'em at the price that I'm telling you it is.
I wish all the
tickets could be $25 but they can't cause the show is very expensive. So the
highest ticket price is $85. That's still cheaper than a concert ticket.
And
this is a big show, and the ending is going to blow your mind. Y'all know I
don't do nothing half way.
I'm adding dates all year long, but these are the
first few cities. And tickets are on sale now.
