Stars come out for The “Think Like A Man” Los Angeles Premiere

T he Los Angeles premiere of “Think Like A Man” took place Thursday night at ArcLight Cinema Dome in Hollywood. The premiere was apart of The Pan African Film & Arts Festival’s opening night premiere. The red carpet packed with so many stars like: Jennifer Hudson, Sean Combs, Gabrielle Union, Kelly Rowland, Serena Williams, Taraji P. Henson, Kevin Hart, Meagan Good, Terrence J., and many others.

The film that’s based on Steve Harvey’s best-selling book “Act Like a Lady, Think Like A Man,” opens April 20th in theaters.

Rapper Lil' Boosie Is Not Dead

Rumors of the currently incarcerated Lil' Boosie's death have been greatly exaggerated. It seems like Boosie Bad Azz is the latest rapper to get prematurely killed via Twitter.

Well, despite allegedly catching the fade in Chicago for not properly compensating Boosie's family, Webbie is trying to squash the death rumors. "LET ME CLEAR IT UP, BOOSIE IS NOT DEAD," tweeted Webbie earlier today.
This entire matter is hella suspect, and in bad taste, considering the music world just lost Whitney Houston (February 11).

Arrested for being WHITE? Grandfather who was repeatedly stopped and cuffed for walking with his black Goddaughter

Scott Henson is a self-described Texas redneck, white and middle-aged. His granddaughter Ty -- the five-year-old daughter of his goddaughter -- is black and Mr Henson often finds himself babysitting her.
And that pairing has apparently drawn the suspicion of police in Mr Henson's hometown of Austin, Texas. Twice in three years, he has been swarmed by officers and questioned aggressively -- for no other reason than being a white man walking down the sidewalk with a little black girl, he says.

On his blog Grits for Breakfast, Mr Henson says he is the victim of 'babysitting while white' -- over-zealous racial profiling by police who are suspicious of anything out of the ordinary.
Last day, the most recent run-in with cops, he was handcuffed and detained and separated from his terrified granddaughter by officers who claimed they had received an anonymous report of a white man kidnapping a black girl. 

In November 2008, while police cordoned off parts of Austin searching for two suspected killers, Mr Henson said he received similar treatment while walking home from the park.
In each encounter, Mr Henson said he was terse with officers and reluctant to give information because he was insulted that he was being stopped and questioned for being with a little girl of a different race. He maintains he had no obligation to cooperate.
But he says the subsequent police response was rude, incompetent and terrifying to his young granddaughter.

As Mr Henson, a political consultant and retired journalist who runs a popular blog about the criminal justice system in Texas, was walking home from a roller rink Friday night with his granddaughter, he was swarmed by several police squad cars.
He had been approached by a deputy constable earlier who questioned what he was doing with the little girl. The officer claimed she had received a report of a white man kidnapping a black child.

When more police arrived, they grabbed Mr Henson, he says, and jerked his armed behind him and handcuffed him. 

'Ty edged up the hill away from the officers, crying. One of them called out in a comforting tone that they weren't there to hurt her, but another officer blew up any good will that might have garnered by brusquely snatching her up and scuttling her off to the back seat of one of the police cars,' he writes.
Meanwhile, he says, the officers stalled and refused to call his wife and the other people whose phone numbers he gave to verify his relationship with the little girl.
Before he was released by the officers, without apologies, Mr Henson said 10 squad cars encircled the bicycle path he was walking, a few blocks from his house.
Ultimately, neither encounter with police has left a lasting impact on his life, he says. But he fears officers' ham-fisted approach has had a bigger impact on little Ty.

'I'd like her to view police as people she can trust instead of threats to her and her family, but it's possible I live in the wrong neighborhood for that.,' he wrote.

WTF!?! Kids Caught Playing game Freeze Tag Called "Rape Tag"?

A disturbing playground activity has parents pissed after finding out what was going down during recess at an elementary school.
New Ulm, Minnesota, Washington Elementary School is at the centre of controversy after learning fifth grade students played a game they called ‘rape tag‘ during recess.
The game is very similar to freeze tag, except to unfreeze someone, fifth grader would have to simulate a sex act on the frozen student.

A parent reported the incident to the school’s staff after seeing their child was talking about the game on Facebook. The school said it took immediate action, talking to teachers who later discussed it with their students.

DailyMail reports The school’s principal, Bill Sprung, told KEYC-TV: ‘This age level of kids – 10, 11, 12—is a time when kids start to mature; start to experiment. He added: ‘Part of that experimentation is that they do things we wish they wouldn’t have done.’

The game is very similar to freeze tag, except to unfreeze someone, a student would have to simulate a sex act on the frozen person Mr Sprung told the station that he quickly alerted teachers, who spoke to their classes about the game.

While it appeared to stop there, rumors about the game continued to appear on Facebook, prompting Mr Sprung to send a letter to parents. The letter went home with students on January 30- 20 days after the parent first reported the incident.
The letter read: ‘On January 10th, a 5th grade parent informed me that 5th grade students were playing a game called “rape tag”.

Tameka Raymond Demanding $50 Grand From Usher!

Tameka Raymond is demanding $50 grand from Usher so she can fight him for custody of their kids...

Usher's ex-wife Tameka Raymond is asking the singer to dig his own legal grave -- by handing over $50,000 to cover HER attorney's fees and other legal investments she's made ... to strip him of child custody.

Tameka filed the docs in Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia -- asking a judge to force Usher to pay her $15,000 to cover her expensive lawyer fees ... plus an additional $35,000 for other costs.

According to the docs, the other costs in their custody dispute include the retention of various expert witnesses, hiring private investigators, and procuring out-of-state depositions.
Tameka claims she's entitled to the money because of the vast disparity in income between her and her ex -- a disparity that puts her at a disadvantage while she's trying to build her case.
Tameka has been trying to get full custody of the ex-couple's two kids since December -- when she asked a judge to strip Usher of joint custody, citing a laundry list of reasons ... including canceling her Saks 5th Avenue credit card.

MADONNA BEING SUED?

Madonna - is being sued for plagiarism. Brazilian music producer Joao Brasil claims the chorus of Give Me All your Luvin' is almost identical to his 2011 single L.O.V.E Banana.
Both songs begin with the shouts of cheerleaders, who in his song say L.O.V.E Banana and in the American singer's version, L.U.V. Madonna.

Fans of the Brazilian DJ, who lives in London, quickly noted the similarities between the two songs on social networks after Madonna's single was released last week.

Joao Brasil told Brazil's Folha da Sao Paulo newspaper: 'I still don't understand what happened. I'm a huge fan of hers. If it's plagiarism, then even better.
'She is always at the cutting edge of music, so it's a good sign about what I do.'
He believes it is more probable it was Madonna's producers, and not the singer herself, who saw his video, featuring singer Lovefoxxx from Brazilian band CSS, and lifted the song's chorus.
