Sheriff Paul Babeu's Ex-Boyfriend Speaks to CNN!
CNN's Miguel Marquez sat down with Jose Orozco, the ex-boyfriend of Pinal County, Arizona Sheriff Paul Babeu in an interview:
"Jose" said his immigration status is current and legal. He said he travels back and forth home to Mexico on a 10-year, US tourist visa that allows multiple-crossings of the border.
He also said he was running a business in Arizona called Website Results LLC and claimed it's legal to run the business in the country, even on a tourist visa.

Watch:

Meanwhile My Fox Phoenix is reporting ha his poll number have DROPPED significantly since the scandal. An analyst calls the scandal a devastating and potentially career-ending blow.
Babeu is running in a district that is very conservative, and the issue of his sexuality may harm him. But there's also the question of judgment and how his will affect his run for Congress.
Babeu announced on Saturday that his campaign will move forward. His personal life is public, and there are those who will judge.

Public opinion researcher Micheal O'Neil says the unknown is the biggest factor. Whether Babeu really threatened his ex-boyfriend with deportation could turn voters away, because it's an abuse of power.
“You are elected to public trust, and if you have power as a function of holding a public office, you are not supposed to use that to your own personal benefit,” O’Neil said.
“He’s an elected official, and that kind of behavior is just poor judgment,” said Republican Ron Gould, a political opponent.

U.S. Rep. Paul Gosar, also a candidate for the 4th congressional district, issued a statement that says in part that Babeu's actions show that he is another career politician who considers himself above the law.
Individual voters will make their individual decisions, but O'Neil does not foresee Babeu moving past the primary -- but says it all depends on whose side of the story is true -- the sheriff's or Jose's.
O'Neil pointed out a few other potential issues -- the inappropriate photos are similar to those former U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner sent out, and while they're not illegal, he is not longer in office.
There's also the fact that Babeu was involved with a campaign volunteer. O'Neil says voter may look down upon that decision.

KARMA WILL GET YOU EVERY TIME!
