IN MEMORIAM!
Joe Paterno Former PENN STATE COACH
1926-2012
A family spokesperson confirmed to the Associated Press that Joseph Vincent Paterno has died at a State College hospital at the age of 85, just over two months after being diagnosed with a form of lung cancer. A posting to Penn State’s official Facebook page read simply: “With great sadness we mourn the passing of Coach Joe Paterno…Few have done more.”
Paterno passed away at 9:25 a.m. ET Sunday, and the official cause of death was metastic small cell carcinoma of the lung.

The legendary former Penn State head coach was surrounded by family and friends, who had been summoned to the on-campus hospital when Paterno’s health took a turn for the worse recently.
“It is with great sadness that we announce that Joe Paterno passed away earlier today,” a statement from the family read. ”His loss leaves a void in our lives that will never be filled. He died as he lived. He fought hard until the end, stayed positive, thought only of others and constantly reminded everyone of how blessed his life had been. His ambitions were far reaching, but he never believed he had to leave this Happy Valley to achieve them. He was a man devoted to his family, his university, his players and his community.”
A statement attributed to university president Rodney Erickson and the Board of Trustees was released shortly after Paterno’s death.
“We grieve for the loss of Joe Paterno, a great man who made us a greater university. His dedication to ensuring his players were successful both on the field and in life is legendary and his commitment to education is unmatched in college football. His life, work and generosity will be remembered always.
“The University plans to honor him for his many contributions and to remember his remarkable life and legacy. We are all deeply saddened.”

Paterno was born Dec. 21, 1926, in Brooklyn, NY, and, after his playing days at Brown University were complete, was hired as an assistant at Penn State in 1950. Shortly after the 1965 season had ended, Paterno was named head coach of the Nittany Lions; for the next 46 years, Paterno lorded over Happy Valley as the face of both a football program and a university.
During his nearly five decades as head coach, Paterno accumulated 409 wins, the most in Div. I history; a record 37 appearances in bowl games; and two national championships. As great of a coach as he was on the field, he was widely hailed as, at least until the events that have transpired since last November, an even greater man off of it, donating millions back to his beloved university and shaping the lives of untold numbers of players, coaches and other football support staff.
The legacy he had built in more than a half a century at the school, however, was threatened — or erased in the minds of some — by the Jerry Sandusky child-sex abuse scandal that’s rocked the football program specifically and the university in general. Mere days after his former assistant was indicted on more than 50 charges relating to the sexual molestation of underage boys, Paterno was fired by the school’s board of trustees, which declared in a statement that their “unanimous judgment was that Coach Paterno could not be expected to continue to effectively perform his duties and that it was in the best interests of the University to make an immediate change in his status.”
Nine weeks after his final game Nov. 5 — eerily and vaguely similar time-wise to the passing of Bear Bryant after he had coached his last game at Alabama — Coach Paterno is gone.
Our condolences go out to his family, friends and every single person touched by a helluva coach and a great-but-fallible human being who will ultimately be defined by the totality of his life, both the good and the bad.
RIP Coach Paterno!

OH KERRY IS VERY………SEXY!
Kerry Washington Sizzles In Little More Than A Blue Blazer For Details
Actress Kerry Washington heats up the February issue of Details magazine in little more than a blue blazer and high heels.
The Ray star has a big year ahead of her in 2012 - she stars in ABC's new political drama Scandal and appears in Quentin Tarantino's upcoming Django Unchained.
Kerry is quickly moving on from her past roles - often cast as just the "wife of" major characters and is ready to take on deeper, more challenging roles.
"I'm really fascinated with how people become who they are," she says.
She still gets plenty of recognition on the street though. When asked what films most people recognize her from she likes to play games.
"I guess what they're going to say they know me from." [If it's a teenage guy?] "You're the blind girl from Fantastic Four!" [A European?] "It's always The Last King of Scotland." [A lesbian?] "She Hate Me" [The one performance everyone recognizes her for is the long-suffering wife in Ray.] "That's the wild card in Uno."

Well did she, or didn’t she? Beyonce’s First post baby interview real, or not?
Last week UK Publication "UK STAR" Magazine claims to have Beyonce's first post-baby interview, and I said it wouldn't be the first time a publication staged a fake interview with a celeb. And now there are reports from Beyonce's camp that the interview was indeed fake.
According to Mama Tina, the interview reported by "UK Star" about Beyonce and Blue Ivy was fake.
Ms. Knowles told "Access Hollywood" that the article was, “Completely made up.” Beyonce's rep also told media yesterday there was no truth to the interview.
But it doesn't end there, because the UK Star editor is standing by their “world exclusive first interview” saying,
“It is not made up or fictitious at all. We bought the interview from a reporter in the U.S. who conducted the interview with Beyonce before the birth. The reporter then obtained the ‘top-up’ info after the birth, which we believe to have been signed off by a girl on her LSM [labor service management] team.”
So Mama Tina says it didn't happen. But the editor swears it did. It wouldn't be the first time a reporter made up an interview. Nor would it be the first time a celeb back tracked on something they said. So......who do you believe?

More details leaked about the show revealed that Deelishis will get confronted by Ayanna’s husband. Also, Valencia will meet a transgender woman named Julisa who claims that JoJo Simmons has been pursuing her/him on Twitter.

In Other news her hubby of more than two years, Orlando Gordon, was picked up on Tuesday as part of a major drug bust, according to the FBI.

MTO also reports that the “Flava of Love” Season 2 winner’s husband was cuffed along with 14 other suspects in a bust that is being called “one of the biggest cocaine and marijuana drug rings outside of Detroit.”
Sister to Sister, reports the couple’s Franklin, Michigan, home was raided by the feds and several kilos of marijuana, grams of crack cocaine, multiple firearms and a bundle of cash was discovered to the tune of more than $500k.
The FBI’s indictment alleges that the drug ring started back in 2008 and involved several agencies, including the IRS, Drug Enforcement Administration and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

ATF Special Agent in Charge David McCain said:
Narcotics trafficking along with violent firearm activity destroys the families and neighborhoods in our communities. ATF along with its state, local, and federal partners will continue to aggressively pursue those violent individuals and organizations that cripple our communities with crime.
Some of the defendants are charged with being felons illegally possessing firearms. The narcotics trafficking conspiracy carries possible sentences of 10 years to life in prison and a $10 million fine, and the felon-in-possession charges carry possible sentences of up to 10 years of prison.
Sister to Sister is reporting that they spoke to Deelishis directly and she insists that the reports are untrue.

Lil Wayne Reportedly Engages In Altercation With NFL Star Dez Bryant
Weezy and the Dallas Cowboys allegedly scuffled this past weekend.
Lil Wayne and NFL star Dez Bryant reportedly engaged in an altercation on Sunday at Fountainebleau’s Club LIV in Miami, Florida.

According to Miami New Times, the fight occurred outside of the club over someone mocking the Dallas Cowboys wide receiver about his “subpar season and a mounting personal debt crisis.” Miami Beach Police have no record of Bryant being detained, but say that there was “a bit of a melee outside LIV that night with a drunk patron striking a security guard.” Bryant’s name is not mentioned in the paperwork.
But according to a Herald reporter, Lil Wayne and his entourage were involved in the scuffle. The story is yet to be confirmed, but several sources say that the fight occurred between the two parties.

BLACK WOMEN GO MISSING TOO! A NEW CAMPAIGN OUT TO HELP FIND THEM!
It ain’t all Natalie Halloway, and Lacey Petersen A renewed campaign to highlight hundreds of missing African-American women has been launched amid ongoing criticism that less attention is given to their cases by authorities and the media.
According to the National Crime Information Center, nearly 40 per cent of those who have disappeared, often in suspicious circumstances, are black. However critics allege that public attention mainly focuses on white women who have vanished.

According to the Black And Missing Foundation, most women disappear in the states of New York, Georgia, North Carolina, Maryland and Florida.
A total of 273,985 minorities were reported missing in the United States (out of 692,944 for all races) as of December 2010.
The foundation has teamed up with a TV network to make a series, Find Our Missing, telling the stories behind the women's disappearances.
The Black And Missing Foundation said there are a number of reasons as to why the cases of missing black women are largely forgotten.
Firstly, the organisation points out that there is often a lack of diversity in newsrooms meaning the African-American community is not properly reflected in coverage.
Another key reason is that missing persons from a lower economic status are often associated with some sort of criminal activity.
Behind the hundreds of cases are painful details sketched out by families, left wondering what has become of their loved ones. Many women have been missing for decades.
In two incidents at the end of last year, a chilling connection was made between two missing women - 500 miles apart - discovered in part because of the attention charities brought to their cases.

Phoenix Coldon, 23, of St Louis, Missouri, went missing on December 18 while Stacey English, 36, vanished in Atlanta, Georgia on Christmas Day 2011.
The cars of both women were abandoned with the engine running and the keys in the ignition.
In both cases the cars were impounded, a fact that police in both cities did not realize until several days into the investigations.
Miss Coldon's mother Goldia Coldon said at the time that the fact both women were African-American had not gone unnoticed.
A separate non-profit group, Black And Missing But Not Forgotten had also picked up on the cases.
There were other heartbreaking cases where years have passed without any clues to where the women have gone, leaving anguished families with little hope of closure.

ARNIKA MILLER

Arnika Miller, now aged 33, disappeared on August 21, 2010 from Topeka, Kansas. Before she went missing, it is alleged that Miss Miller told a co-worker that her boyfriend and his friends had assaulted her and stolen her identification and money and that she was afraid of them. She had duel citizenship with Canada. Her family are deeply concerned for her safety as she is an insulin-dependent diabetic and she may have had a broken leg. Her last sighting was unknown.

ASIA NICOLE MARTIN

Asia Nicole Martin, now 26, was last seen on May 27, 2005 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She told her roommate that she was going for a walk at 8.40pm and never came home. The student bought a bus ticket to visit her mother in Denver but never boarded it. Her roommate said that she was acting normally when she left, but her family are concerned that something may have happened to her as it was unusual for her not to contact them and she has an unspecified medical condition.

TILAWNA DENISE CHEATHAM
Tilawna Cheatham, now 31, disappeared on August 11, 1989 when she was nine years old in Aiken, South Carolina. Her photo has been age progressed to show what she would look like, aged 27. The girl was last seen after she argued with her mother, took spare change from a jar and left home. Two neighbours spotted the girl at 5.30pm at a convenience store a few blocks from her house.

LATORIA RENAE MCCLARIN

Latoria Renae McClarin, 27, went missing on November 1 from Goldsboro, North Carolina. She left her house with a man, identified as Ray, and told her family she would be right back. Ray is believed to be an acquaintance from the city of Wilson in the state but Miss McClarin's family don't know anything else about him. She does not have medication that she needs with her.

ASHANI KARIN CREIGHTON

Ashani Karin Creighton, who would now be 19, was last seen by her mother in Orlando, Florida after being initially abducted by her grandparents, Ernest S. Jackson and Kaia Jackson in 1998.
It is time for all people - regardless of race - to be treated equally in their times of greatest need.
Natalie Wilson, co-founder of the Black And Missing Foundation.

A total of 273,985 minorities were reported missing in the United States, according to the FBI in 2010 - this is the percentage breakdown based on race
The grandparents were taken into custody in 2000. Miss Creighton is feared dead but what happened to the teenager is still unknown.

In the case of Sharon Davis, now 61, who has been missing for eleven years, she was last seen at 7am on June 13 after being dropped off by her daughter in a Dallas parking lot.
She had said she was going home to change her clothes for a meeting but her van was later found abandoned.
The vehicle had a broken window and was wiped clean of fingerprints.
Her two children alleged that Ms Davis's husband may know more about her disappearance as she had filed for divorce two days before she was last seen.
Natalie Wilson, co-founder of the Black And Missing Foundation, told ABC: 'When we hear the term ''missing persons'', most people conjure up images of Chandra Levy, Caylee Anthony or Natalee Holloway.
'As a result, the public is misled in believing that victims of abductions and kidnappings are [all] blonde, blue-eyed and female.'

Still out there? Shandell McLeod (l), 35, was last seen on October 1 in Lithonia, Georgia - her family fear her life is in danger. Sharon Davis vanished in 2001 after her van was found abandoned in a Dallas parking lot
In danger: Sharnecia Monique Frazier (l) has been missing since 2005 and would now be 22 - she was last seen in Montgomery, Alabama. Sheila Hughes was nine months pregnant when she vanished in Aliceville, Alabama in 2000
Ms Wilson added: 'It is time for all people - regardless of race - to be treated equally in their times of greatest need.'
The Black and Missing Foundation was set up by a former law enforcement officer and public relations experts to support families and raise awareness of those who have disappeared. It also offers tips on personal safety.

A new series, Find Our Missing, begins tonight on the TV One network.
If you recognize any of these women or would like to report someone missing, please contact the Black And Missing Foundation at 1-877-972-2634 or on their website here

Proof That Kim Kardashian’s Reality Show Is Fake! Scene With Kris Jenner Was Staged

They have been dubbed the ‘Fakest Family In America‘ and now we have proof that not only are the Kardashians fake but their reality shows are also phony and staged!
While a new episode of Kourtney and Kim Take New York aired last Sunday, Kim Kardashian’s husband of 72 days, Kris Humphries, made the following cryptic tweet — “I can’t wait for the truth to come out!
People will be surprised or maybe they won’t. #FCC.” This had many wondering what Kris could have been referring to and folks, I believe we have cracked the code.
The photos you’re seeing above of Kim and pimpmomager Kris Jenner were taken on December 6, 2011. The photo agency which snapped the pics stated Kim and Kris were leaving a studio in Los Angeles.
Does Kim outfit look familiar? It should because Kim is sporting the same exact outfit, same hairstyle and same makeup as she did in a scene that aired on KKTNY last Sunday which according to E! was filmed in Dubai… in October… weeks before Kim pulled the plug on her marriage.

In the scene, Kim tries to garner sympathy appear remorseful as she tells her mom she is having marital issues with hubby Kris. There’s only one problem folks: Kim filed for divorce on October 31 and it appears that “Dubai” scene was actually taped in Los Angeles on Dec. 6. Still having doubts? Well, feel free to check out the outfit Kris’ assistant is carrying behind her. Ding ding ding! It’s the SAME “Dubai” outfit plus Kris is still wearing the same earrings.
Wowzers. So this proves the Kardashians’ shows are as phony as the Kardashians. Furthermore, Kim and Kris actually filmed this scene last month to not only try to fool their audience, but to also try to make Kim a victim. Unfortunately for Kris Humphries, he didn’t get a chance to go back and film phony scenes to help his image.

Even before we were able to put two and two together with these images many were already doubting the authenticity of this “heart to heart” scene between Kim and mom Kris.
For starters, TheImproper blog via Perez Hilton points out that in the scene:
- Windows are totally blacked out
- No visible lights and the scene has low lighting
- Scene seems contrived, and could have been staged to gain sympathy for Kim
It gets even better as two body language experts for the HollywoodLife blog stated the scene was fake based on the body language and the reaction of Kris to Kim’s bombshell about her marital issues.
“[This seems] completely phony, staged and emotionless for someone who is not happy about a marriage,” Dr. Lillian Glass told the HollywoodLife. “Plus, Kris’ dialogue is just that like of a bad actress giving bad dialogue. There is too much pause time between the answers and her reaction shows no surprise and a matter of factness monotone — much like Kim’s indicative non-genuineness.”
Also, raising a red flag was Kris’ reaction to her daughter’s bad news. “She is smiling while her daughter is sharing this terrible news,” says body language expert Patti Wood. “This is not normal. She isn’t leaning toward Kim to show her support or trying to comfort her in any way.”
Still need more proof that the above photo of Kim was taken in December? UsWeekly did a story about Kim and that photo of her on December 7. The story also states Kim was snapped leaving a studio in LA on Dec. 6.

As for Kris Humphries, his family and friends have always insisted the show was fake and scripted including scenes which demonstrate Kris being a jerk or villain. “Little did Kris know that he was being set up,” his father, William Humphries, told Life & Style in November. “Kris got used — 100 percent used.”
To close out this story, SHAME on the Kardashians and SHAME on E!. It’s one thing to make a reality show and kind of create scenarios to make it more interesting, but to actually go back and act out FAKE scenes months after the fact is a new low. No word yet on how the Kardashians and E! will try to defend this.

Nas Baby Mama is up to her old shady tricks again!
The last time we heard from Nas' Baby mama Carmen she had written a book exposing her tryst with Jay Z that started the war between him and Nas [click here if you missed that]. Well, these days, aside from preparing her new book, 'Mira's Reflection', Carmen spends her time being messy on Twitter...

There's this fake open letter going around purported to have been written by Jay Z claiming he would no longer be using the word bitch following the birth of his daughter. Carmen wants to know why Jay doesn't care as much for his son.
Then there was the time Carmen blasted Kandi for dating her friend's man.

Is Adele dating a married Man?
Adele has denied reports that her new boyfriend Simon Konecki is a married man.

The singer, 23, wrote on her website: 'This is the first and last time I will comment on the details of my relationship with Simon.'
'Contrary to reports and headlines in the press, Simon is divorced and has been for 4 years.'
'Take care and see you all in February xx,' she added - in reference to her forthcoming appearance at the Brit Awards next month.
Previously, it had been reported that bearded Old Etonian entrepreneur Konecki, 36, was still in the process of divorcing fashion stylist Clary Fisher, who he wed in the summer of 2004.
The couple have a five-year-old daughter.
Adele is devoted to Simon, known as ‘Swampy’ to his friends, who is 14 years her senior.
When he married Clary, a London College of Fashion graduate, he was a director of the EBS group, an investment holding company.

The pair moved in glamorous social circles, counting multi-millionaire property figure Anton Bilton, Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood’s son Jamie and Lucas White, the party-loving playboy son of the late industrialist Lord ‘Gordy’ White, among their pals.
But after Konecki left the City, to set up an eco-company with White, his marriage failed.
Despite moving to his home town of Brighton with Clary and the birth of their daughter, the couple grew apart.
Grammy award-winning Adele, who is recovering from surgery on her vocal cords, was introduced to her new beau by singer Ed Sheeran a couple of months ago.
Their backgrounds could not be more different. While Adele was raised by her single mother and went to an inner-city primary in Tottenham, Konecki was sent to Eton, where contemporaries included Tom Parker Bowles and Bear Grylls.

His parents live in a £1million waterfront house in Florida, and his sisters went to posh Roedean.
When approached, Clary, who lives in Sussex and still uses her married name, refused to comment.

Keyshia & Daniel and Evelyn and Chad are a part of EBONY Magazine's "Hot Couples 2012
In the latest issue of EBONY Magazine, Evelyn Lozada & Chad Ochocinco (who plan to marry this summer) are profiled alongside Keyshia Cole and Daniel "Boobie" Gibson, Eric Benet and his wife Manuela Testolini, T.I. and Tiny, Roland Martin and Jacquie Hood Martin and "The View" co-host Sherri Shepherd and husband Lamar Sally in the "Hot Couples 2012" article.
In the piece, the couples share their love stories and how they make love work in their relationship.

Here are highlights from Keyshia and Daniel's profile and Chad and Evelyn's profile:

Keyshia on why she decided to give Daniel a chance-
"I was kind of through with relationships. I didn't feel like guys were mature enough. What made me gravitate toward Gib was his faith in God, more than anything. He seemed like a loving person. He talked a lot about his grandmother, who had passed away, and the things she instilled in him."
Daniel on Keyshia-
"She has morals and a big heart. Once we met things happened fast. I felt like she was perfect for me. I proposed to her on New Year's Eve, right when the ball dropped. I got down on one knee at the same time."
Why Chad knew Evelyn was The One
"She was up-front and honest. I never had that before. I always [say to] people in early conversations, 'Tell me about yourself.' They always skip a story and try to come off squeaky clean. They tell me wha they think I want to hear. she didn't send her representative. She told me what she went through. She gave me A,B,C. She said, 'Take it or leave it.'"

How do they make love work (Evelyn)?
"You must be open. That's something I had never done before. I didn't want anyone telling him something about me. He doesn't judge me on my past or anything."

Check out the other couples in EBONY's February 2012 issue on newsstands now.

And finally from “THE CRAZY PEOPLE SHOPPING AT WALMART” FILES
“No Butts About It”
At first I was like “Why is that butt winking at me?” Then I quickly realized that it was not winking, but rather cringing from the smell.
