Jennifer Hudson will be releasing her new memoir called I Got This: How I Changed My Ways and Lost What Weighed Me Down, detailing her weight loss of 80 pounds, but she also talks the movie roles she’s turned down, including the lead role in Precious.

ENGAGED! LeBron James & Savannah Brinson!

After an 8+ year relationship, 2 kids, and 2 basketball teams, Lebron James and longtime girlfriend Savannah got engaged! 

At a Remy Martin V private NYE dinner party hosted by Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade in Miami Saturday night, LeBron popped the question to a surprised Savannah.

And the sweet moment was captured in this pic.

Bron asked one of the most important questions of his life in front of a room full of friends and fam--guests included Nas, Jessica White, Chris & Adrienne Bosh, Queen Latifah, Gloria James, and LeBron & Savannah's two sons were in attendance as well.

Following the engagement, as told to us by the reps at Remy V, LeBron was surprised with a tremendous birthday cake with "LJ" on the top, adding to the celebrations.

The congratulatory tweets started rolling in from the couples' celebrity friends. LA Clipper & one of Bron's besties, Chris Paul, tweeted:

Happy for my brother @KingJames and sis @SavannahRB on their engagement!!! Extremely happy for them and the good times to come #HappyNewYear

Chris' wife Jada, who is good friends with Savannah, tweeted:

The Miami Heat owner Micky Arison tweeted:

And when Bron celebrated his 27th b-day last week, his wife-to-be sent a sweet tweet saying:

GOOD DEEDS;Magic Johnson Wants to Unite Hip-Hop Against Homophobia:

Well I feel it’s a start!

Since Magic Johnson famously revealed that he was HIV positive in 1991, the retired NBA legend has been one of the most successful advocates for HIV prevention and education and become a face of knowledge and change for the epidemic. And now the famous mogul is taking on a new cause – battling homophobia. Johnson recently revealed that he wants combat homophobia in hip-hop as well as stereotypes surrounding HIV infections.

While speaking with The Huffington Post Canada about his HIV prevention and education efforts, Johnson explained that he was inspired to make changes in the way minority communities perceive and treat HIV by the white gay community.
“I learned a lot from the white gay community because they had gotten their community, rallied them, educated them and did a wonderful job about driving the numbers down. That is the best approach that I’ve seen; it’s been the most effective,” explained Johnson. “So what we try to do in our community is bring those results to us. So I’m working hard to continue to educate minorities about HIV and AIDS and we’ve got to band together. We’re too fragmented right now, but if we can do that, we’re going to do well.”

Johnson now wants to take elements of that same approach and apply it to the hip-hop community.

“As a hip-hop fan, you realize that homophobia is still an issue everywhere, but especially in the black community. When people are scared to talk about it, that’s how the disease spreads. So what have you been doing to get that risk reduced?” said Johnson. What we’re trying to do is reach out to the hip-hop community because they have power — power with their voice, power with that mic in their hand and power with the lyrics that they sing. I have a lot of friends in that industry and so what we’re trying to do is rally them to get behind the cause, deliver the message to these young people that HIV and AIDS is big and it’s not going anywhere. They can make a difference right away by speaking out, because they have a big fan base.Johnson continued, “So we’re finding out that a lot of them want to be involved; they’re just looking for a group like ours to latch onto and be a part of it. We haven’t really had any push-back from the hip-hop community.”

Johnson explained that he will soon announce a number of his celebrity friends who are joining his cause in fighting homophobia and HIV.
“We’re going to name everybody in a little while because it’s more than one person. We’ve got about five or six people that we’re talking to. We’re going to come out next year with everybody and we’ll have a nice big press conference and what we’re going to do, what our plan is, because it’s so important that we rally — not just them, either. I need the Hip-Hop community but I also need the basketball players and football players. We need a little bit of everybody, so that’s what we’re working on now.”

Well, kudos to Johnson for recognizing the negative impact that homophobia has on society as well as HIV infection rates and trying to combat the problem head on. Though Johnson has yet to reveal his list of celebrity supporters I’m sure they will be many who will get on board.

NO MORE TEENAGE DREAMS; RUSSELL BRAND Files for Divorce from Katy Perry

Russell Brand has filed for divorce from Katy Perry . In the docs, filed in L.A., Brand cites "irreconcilable differences." The two were married Oct. 23, 2010 in India. They have no kids.

The divorce docs say there are "community property assets" -- it's a sign there might not be a prenup, or if there is one it doesn't cover all of the earnings and other assets they accumulated.

The docs do not give a date the couple separated.

Russell has released a statement, claiming, "Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends."

Russell proposed to Katy in India on New Year's Eve 2009 -- nearly two years ago ... to the day.

Sources said the couple was having problems, evidenced by the fact that they spent Christmas apart and neither was wearing a wedding ring.

Although it's not 100%, based on what we now know it appears Brand may have blindsided Perry by filing the divorce petition.

Russell appeared on "Ellen" just this month, slamming divorce rumors claiming, "I'm really happily married ... I’m married to Katy. Perpetually, until death do us part was the pledge. I’m still alive."

Michael Jordan Is ENGAGED To Girlfriend Yvette Prieto

It's official! Rumors have been swirling all week, and now it's confirmed. Basketball icon Michael Jordan plans to walk down the aisle with longtime girlfriend Yvette Prieto, his rep confirmed

According to his rep, who confirmed the news to WCNC in Charlotte, the Bobcats owner and basketball legend popped the question on Christmas Day. It will be the first marriage for the 32-year-old Cuban-born model Yvette and the second for Michael, who is 48.

His last marriage to Juanita lasted 17 years and produced two sons, Jeffrey Michael and Marcus James, and a daughter, Jasmine. And the divorce cost him $168 million! Good luck Mike...

Chris Brown and Rihanna Still in Love?

It's been a long road between these two. And we mean long. Also, bumpy.

After the highly publicized 2009 assault, which we all wish we could forget but will always remember, Rihanna and Chris Brown's tumultuous relationship seems to have struck up again after the former couple each posted tweets about love that appeared to be directed toward the other.

The Twitter mystery started when Breezy posted, "Love U more than u know!"

Two minutes later, Ri-Ri responded with, "I'll always love you #1love."

Coincidence? Maybe, but that's hard to believe. Rihanna has already defended why she even follows Brown on Twitter and has shared that she's still a "fan" of his and "excited" for his comeback, which is fine. We get it.

But what's going on here? Is the duo thinking about rekindling their romance or are these tweets totally unrelated? Was it just a little something to get off their chest or is this their way of making something public? So many questions!

Bradley Cooper and Zoe Saldana are 'totally dating'

She became the envy of millions of women worldwide when photographs emerged of her locking lips with Bradley Cooper for upcoming movie The Words earlier this year.
And Zoe Saldana better get used to being the focus of the actor's jealous female fans, as it has now been claimed the pair have become more than just friends following their celluloid hook up in June.
A source has claimed the pair have started to tell their friends and family that they are in a relationship, and were planning to spend the holidays together on a skiing break in the Rockies.

The source told E! News: 'They are totally dating.'
The claims come just months after the pair first sparked rumours they had taken their friendship to the next level following a picture of the couple together at a New York nightclub.

At the time, a representative for Avatar actress Saldana denied the claims.
The rumoured relationship comes just a month after Saldana and fiancé Keith Britton announced they had amicably split after 11 years together.
Meanwhile, Cooper, who was voted People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive earlier this year, has recently been linked to French actress Melanie Laurent following a rumoured dalliance with Jennifer Lopez.

Jennifer Williams, star of VH1′s hit reality series “Basketball Wives has 99 problems and feuding with co star Evelyn Lozada isn’t one of them. With season 4 of Basketball Wives around the corner, iPower 92.1 FM’s caught up with Jenn to clear up her dating life, alleged fight with Evelyn and her relationship with her cast-mate.

Don’t expect for her ex-husband Eric Williams to get a kiss for New Years, Jenn is adamant that chapter of her life is over. ”
I am dating, not one specific person though…I’m not trying to rush into anything.”She is interested in someone who’s not an athlete so we shall see.

When asked about rumors of another fight between her and her sassy co star 

Evelyn Lozada she replied:
“We’re definitely not on speaking terms…..If you follow me on Twitter, I don’t do subliminal tweets. I don’t throw jabs at my friends. If you have my phone number, just text me or whatever. She threw a couple of jabs at me on Twitter…I don’t have a problem with her. She has one with me. I definitely think there’s a bigger issue, but you guys will have to tune into Season IV to figure it out..

She did spill the beans on the rumors of her and Evelyn getting physical (we’re talking “throwing handbags”) at Shaunie bday dinner.”You know what… (Laughs) I don’t think I can confirm or deny, but I just want to say this. I think anybody that has tuned into Season I through III knows that I’m definitely not a fighter, that’s not even in my character whatsoever. You definitely won’t find me fighting in Philippe Chow and I’m just going to leave it at that she said.
She still hasn’t patched things up with castmate Royce so there may be a fairy tale ending to this saga . Jenn states” I don’t even have an issue with Royce. I just felt like we connected on a different level with the whole makeover for her”. If her friendships with Evelyn or Royce fizzle forever she may find a friend in her new castmates Kenya Bell and Kesha Ni’cole Nichols. Kenya Bell is the ex-wife of Golden State Warrior Charlie Bell. 

The second new cast member is Kesha Ni’cole Nichols. She was dumped in 2009 by her ex-fiance, San Antonio Spur Richard Jefferson, via e-mail the night before the wedding. PS. Don’t expect to see Meka Claxton to receive nay blows on the show, she wasn’t invited back to film the show.

THE JAILBIRD BLUES; Man in Prison Sues Jamie Fox and Tyler Perry for Stealing Script Idea?

Shamont Lyle Sapp, who is serving time in Oklahoma for 10 bank robberies, filed a lawsuit, claiming he pitched the idea to Foxx and Perry but they cut him out the deal. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Shamont had the idea to unite the three characters in one film — but his version wasn’t a comedy about bank robbers … it was a drama about a mental hospital.

Shamont is also suing Fox Broadcasting and producer David Zuckerman for a total of $4 million in damages.

WOW…. Alfonso Ribeiro SPEAKS OUT About Original Aunt Viv And SAYS "That B*TCH Was Crazy!"

Talk about reinforcements? Who knew that Alfonso Ribeiro was so funny? During a recent stand-up routine, the actor lets actress Janet Hubert (the first Aunt Viv) have it! He calls her a few choice words and questions her sanity.....
During a pretty funny comedy routine, Alfonso Ribeiro reveals that early in his career, he was up for a role on "A Different World" but later chose to shoot "The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air" pilot.

The rest, as they say, was history......but he added season one was a mess because of the first Aunt Viv. Basically he said,

"That b*tch was crazy."

He said that Janet made the set a very hostile environment and would often just "go off" on people. He also called her "Coo Coo."
But once she was fired......they returned to being one big happy tv family. Sounds like Will may not be the culprit afterall....

LIL’ KIM HANGS WITH 50 CENT AND THE MONEY TEAM

Lil’ Kim was the only female in the crew while kicking it with 50 Cent and the Money Team. The fellas, including boxing champ Floyd Mayweather, Jr., enjoyed some down time over the Christmas vacation.

Earlier in the week, the Queen Bee hit the studio with her “Magic Stick” collaborator to record some new material. It’s unknown where their latest work will end up, but Kim is expected to drop her EP any day now and announce a new record deal at the top of the year.

Over the summer, Kim declared her loyalty to 50 and G-Unit while sharing the stage with G-Unit South signee Shawty Lo at Hot 107.9’s Birthday Bash 16 in Atlanta.

RIHANNA IS LOOKING FABULOUS AS SHE VACATION BACK IN HER HOMELAND OF BARBADOS

 

 We've always known Rihanna is smoking hot, but these pictures of her only cement it further.

The RnB pop princess, 23, will be the every of every girl across the globe as she parades her incredible curvaceous figure during a dip in the sea in Barbados.
Leaving little to the imagination in a barely-there orange bikini, Rihanna displayed her womanly physique with curves in all the right places and a flirtatious attitude to match.

Obviously benefiting from the high-energy dance routines she performed almost every night on stage during her tour, Rihanna's body looked toned yet curvy.
She hit the beach in her native Barbados with family members and friends - of course, she was the centre of attention throughout the duration of her time on the beach.

 At one point she had a wrestle in the sea with her brother, revealing her playful side as she tried to dunk him under the water - but her brother was up to the challenge and the both ended up flying into the sea head first.

As she emerged though, she was dangerously close to an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction as the left side of her bikini top was pushed up a little too far.
She also headed into the water on her own to let the waves crash against her tones body, lifting up her arms and jumping as they did so.

 This was most definitely a well-deserved, relaxing break after Rihanna went through a punishing series of shows for her world tour - clocking in 101 concerts around the globe. 

She also hit the water aboard a jet ski with a young girl named Ali.

And, at one point, the woman who has been appointed the official ambassador of youth and culture for Barbados picked up a young boy as she was surrounded by fans and photographers.

 Of course, being used to such attention, Rihanna took it in her stride and appeared calm and relaxed in all of the pictures that were taken of her.

UMMMM GABRIEL WHO IS LADY WITH HALLE’S BABY?

Has Gabriel Aubry moved on from Halle Berry? The former Versace model was spotted in the park with his daughter Nahla and the duo was joined by a "mystery" woman and her two kids.

Gabriel Aubry and Halle Berry's gorgeous 3-year-old daughter Nahla was spotted having a jolly old time at LA's Pan Pacific Park. Loving these pigtails! She's getting so big!

The Daddy/Daughter duo wore matching outfits (plaid shirts and jeans) and looked like they were fresh out of an American Eagle catalog.

 As they hit the swing set, rode a scooter and played in the sand, little Nahla had to take a break.

Seems like Nahla knows the mystery woman's child pretty well. Hmmm....

And although Gabe's visits must be supervised by a nanny (according to the court docs), I suspect this WAS NOT the nanny as she had her OWN kids to tend to.

Does Gabe have a new woman? Hmmm..
