The Michael Jackson Manslaughter Trial against Conrad Murrays Days 8 & 9
OMG! MJ’s Naked Autopsy Pic Shown in Court

Plus, autopsy doc says MJ could not have given himself propofol

*Prosecutors in Conrad Murray’s involuntary manslaughter trial showed an image of Michael Jackson’s dead, naked body on a gurney in the hospital — taken moments after the singer died, reports TMZ.
The date shown near his hand reads August 25th, 2009 — but the autopsy doctor Christopher Rogers claims the date was wrong … it should have read June 25th.
Also, Rogers, who declared Michael Jackson’s death a homicide, claims it’s extremely unlikely the singer killed himself with a deadly dose of Propofol — insisting Dr. Conrad Murray is more likely to blame.
He said Murray’s description of the final moments leading up to Michael’s cardiac arrest just doesn’t add up.
Murray claims he left for two minutes to go to the bathroom — and when he returned, Michael wasn’t breathing. The defense will argue MJ self-administered a deadly dose of Propofol in that time.
But Rogers insists … Murray’s scenario is nearly impossible — because in that two minute window, MJ would have had to wake up (under the influence of several powerful sedatives) and skillfully administer the deadly dose … which would then have had to travel to his brain, causing him to stop breathing.
What’s more likely, according to Rogers — Murray administered several doses of Propofol in the hours leading to Michael’s death without properly measuring them out, resulting in an overdose.

Also today in court Dr. Murray’s Team Drops Claim MJ Swallowed PropofolAttorneys for Dr. Conrad Murray told the judge in his manslaughter trial that they were dropping their claim that Michael Jackson swallowed propofol when Murray was out of the room. However, the defense is still arguing that the singer could have injected himself with an extra, fatal dose on June 25, 2009.
With the jury out of the courtroom on Wednesday, Murray’s attorneys and prosecutors presented medical studies to the judge that have shown propofol has no major effects on a person when swallowed.
“We are not going to assert at any point in time in this trial that Michael Jackson orally ingested propofol,” Murray’s attorney J. Michael Flanagan told the judge.
Murray has admitted giving the 50-year-old Jackson 25 milligrams of propofol.
Also this morning, a cardiologist testified that Dr. Murray made major mistakes in giving the singer the anesthetic propofol to help him sleep.
Dr. Alon Steinberg, a cardiologist who reviewed Murray’s treatment of Jackson for the California medical board, said even if the singer administered propofol to himself, the physician still would be responsible for his death.
“It’s like leaving a baby that’s sleeping on your kitchen countertop,” Steinberg said. “You look at it and it’s probably going to be OK and you’re just going to go grab some diapers or go to the bathroom but you would never do it.”
Steinberg said Murray displayed six “extreme deviations” from the generally accepted standard of care.

Those were:
Administering propofol for sleep when it is meant for anesthesia
Administering the propofol at a home instead of a medical facility
Not being prepared for an emergency with enough staff and equipment on hand
Not taking the proper measures to revive Jackson when the singer stopped breathing
Not immediately calling for an ambulance
Not keeping proper records

“If these deviations hadn’t happened, Mr. Jackson would have been alive,” Steinberg said.
Murray, who has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter, faces up to four years in prison if convicted.
