Jennifer Hudson gives PUNK..The HASAN CHOP? Calls of Wedding?

According to Star Magazine, Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson has called off her engagement to wrestler David “Punk” Otunga.

He loved her when she was thick but, due to her low self esteem, Jennifer couldn’t love herself enough to lose weight in moderation, through dieting and exercise. Instead, she chose to lose weight drastically through gastric bypass surgery (allegedly), and now she’s lost her man.

After a three-year engagement, Jennifer Hudson has abandoned plans to walk down the aisle.

The American Idol alum, 30, and WWE star David Otunga – who have a 2-year-old son, David jr. – are on the outs, clashing over Jennifer’s career obsession, commitment issues and reluctance to have more children.

“They were going to tie the knot in August in Jennifer’s hometown of Chicago… but it’s not going to happen,” an insider reveals...

However a rep for J-Hud told E! News, , "I can confirm that the story is not true."

Interestingly, Jennifer has not mentioned this rumor on Twitter....and we all know how Jenny likes to blow up Twitter!

Bishop Eddie Long ACCUSED Of Targeting Church Members With Ponzi Scheme?

Bishop Eddie Long is facing more legal woes as he's been named in a high profile civil lawsuit claiming he encouraged some of his New Birth Missionary Baptist Church members to invest in a Ponzi scheme.

Bishop Eddie Long, the pastor of New Birth, who recently made headlines after it was revealed that a tell-all book is being written by the several young men who have accused him of sexual misconduct, is know being accused of financial misdoings. Shocker.

In a new civil lawsuit filed in the state of Georgia, 10 members of New Birth claim they were "coerced" into investing with Ephren Taylor Jr., the former chief executive of City Capital Corp. in Chicago. The members say they were "...promised 20 percent annual returns on safe investments," but instead, their money was diverted to a failing company."

Joseph Borg, the Alabama securities commissioner and a past president of the North American Securities Administrators Association, told the Wall Street Journal.

"I've seen more money stolen in the name of God than any other way. Seven out of 10 of our cases involve affinity fraud, and in the South, probably 40 to 50 percent have a religious angle."

Kanye West, Chris Brown and Beyonce lead the way in Soul Train Award nominations with five each according the full list of nominees that was recently released. Kelly Rowland and Adele also look to win big when the award show is taped November 17 in Atlanta with three nominations a piece.
The 24 annual edition of the STA's scheduled performers include Robin Thicke, Jill Scott, Mindless Behavior, Melanie Fiona, Lloyd and others.

Cheer up, Doll! Nicole Scherzinger looks glum as she steps out for first time since split from Lewis Hamilton

A break-up is never easy to cope with.
But for two high-profile celebrities such as Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton, it must be even harder.
X Factor USA judge Scherzinger was spotted looking downcast and upset, hiding her eyes behind a huge pair of sunglasses, as she arrived at the CBS Studios in Los Angeles for the first time since announcing her split from the racing car driver.

It was announced earlier this week that Scherzinger and Hamilton had split after dating for the past four years.
A friend said: 'Yes, they've split. It's a real shame because Nicole really tried to make it work.

'They are still very good friends and it was an amicable split, but they just decided it was impossible to keep the relationship going with such conflicting work schedules.'
But while Scherzinger is understandably down about the whole situation, she has apparently been seeking comfort from X Factor USA host Steve Jones.
A source told the Daily Mirror: 'Nicole is crushed and has shed so many tears. Steve’s been a shoulder to cry on and a real gent.

'They have become close and have met up outside the studio. He listens to her and makes her laugh. There is unmistakable chemistry there.'
But whether or not Jones wants to take his relationship with Scherzinger to the next level, the 33-year-old singer is apparently not ready to start dating again, and sees her friendship with Jones as 'all very innocent'.
The source added: 'Steve flirts with her whenever he can but she laughs it off.'
Nicole is based in Los Angeles, California, due to her commitments with the X Factor USA.

Hamilton, meanwhile, travels all over the world as one of the leading drivers in F1 and has a home in Switzerland.
The couple met at the European Music Awards in Munich in November 2007, before going public at the Monaco Grand Prix six months later.
Miss Scherzinger, 33, was by his side as he was crowned world champion in Brazil in November 2008.
But they spent increasing amounts of time apart due to their busy careers.
In July there was unconfirmed speculation the couple had become engaged.

The couple split in January 2010 when they had been together for 20 months.

ACLU Charges FBI With Racism

The American Civil Liberties Union has accused the FBI of the racial profiling of minorities through systematic analysis.

Standing their claims on FBI documents obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, the ACLU said the Feds use a systematic way for racially profiling, linking criminal behaviors with certain racial and ethics groups, according to a report by the Huffington Post.

The Union also claims the FBI then uses U.S census data to map the location of those communities in order to launch investigations.

In a statement to Attorney General Eric Holder, the ALCU said it possesses "grave concerns about the overbroad investigative authorities." They also pointed out mounting evidence, "that the FBI is illegally and unconstitutionally targeting innocent Americans for investigation based upon their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, and political activities protected under the First Amendment."

ACLU findings also noted that the FBI:

-- Noted an increase in the "black/African American populations in Georgia" and non-violent protests by the African-American community in the state after police shootings to identify potential threats from "Black Separatist" groups.
-- Used the fact that San Francisco is "home to one of the oldest Chinatowns in North America and one of the largest ethnic Chinese populations outside mainland China" to justify opening an investigation involving racial and ethnic mapping because within the community "there has been organized crime for generations."
--Used the threat posed by the criminal gang MS-13, originally started by Salvadoran immigrants, to justify broad investigations targeting Latino communities in Alabama, New Jersey and Georgia.
--Sought to collect information about Muslim and Arab communities in Michigan "because Michigan has a large Middle Eastern and Muslim population, [so] it is prime territory for attempted radicalization and recruitment by ... terrorist groups."

"Targeting entire communities for investigation based on erroneous stereotypes produces flawed intelligence,” said Michael German, ACLU senior policy counsel. “Experience shows that terrorists and criminals do not fit into neat racial or religious stereotypes -- law enforcement programs based on evidence and facts are effective, and a system of bias and mass suspicion is not."

Drake Plays ‘Mr. Wrong’ on Mary J. Blige’s Second Single

Mary J. Blige has added another big name to the already star-studded lineup for her upcoming album. The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul holds court with Drake on her second single.
The people over at Rap-Up.com attended an exclusive listening for Mary’s 10th studio album My Life II… The Journey Continues (Act I), which features appearances from Beyoncé, Nas, Rick Ross, Busta Rhymes, and the Young Money rapper, who guests on “Mr. Wrong.” Mary sings about falling for bad boys over the midtempo record produced by Jim Jonsin and Rico Love.

“Don’t it seem like I’m always there when it matters, but missing most of the other time, a terrible pattern,” raps Drizzy, while Mary sings, “Bad boys ain’t no good/ Good boys ain’t no fun.”

Rico Love explained the meaning behind the track, for which a video has already been shot. “It’s an extremely soulful song that expresses the true level of love that a woman can have for a man who simply is no good for her,” he said. “I wrote it because in many ways I am Mr. Wrong.”

The R&B songstress also teams with hitmaker Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins for a dance floor-ready cover of Chaka Khan’s classic “Ain’t Nobody.”

Mathew Knowles' former mistress, Alexsandra Wright, who he made 20-month-old baby Nixon with, is making some outrageous claims about Mat trying to BUY her baby for his own daughter and son-in-law. And, on top of that, she's now raising their son with her new boyfriend--celebrity trainer Harvey Walden! 

Pappy Knowles' jumpoff tales just got more messy. In the new issue of tabloid Star magazine, Mathew Knowles' mistress of 18 months, 40-year-old Alexsandra Wright, is showing off her and Mat's baby, Nixon, for the first time. And she's also telling some eyebrow-raising tales about Mathew trying to buy their baby....for his own daughter Beyonce & her husband Jay-Z to raise.

She claims to Star:

'My first thought when he asked me if I would give up our child to Beyonce and Jay-Z was, 'Are you out of your mind?'

'Nothing in the world, no amount of money would make me give up my child, you can't buy my child from me!'
'Maybe Mathew thought money could buy anything. I don't know why he suggested it.'

Alexasandra claims she recorded their alleged conversation, yet no recorded audio or video has been released...yet. It's unclear when exactly Mat asked her to give up the baby, if he did at all. And it's unclear as to whether Mat wanted The Carters to raise baby Nixon as their OWN child and/or in place of their own baby people are for whatever reason doubting they are actually having. Or if he wanted them to raise Nixon just because...for whatever reason. And this is if these convos even went down at all.

Alex says she and the 60-year-old Mat were living together in Beverly Hills while he and Tina were still married. And she filed a paternity suit in October 2009 when she was 6 months pregnant when Mat denied being the father. Yet she also says, Mat prayed for a boy and really wanted the child.

She also says she doubts if Beyonce, who reportedly hasn't spoken to her dad since she fired him as her manager several months ago, knew anything about Mathew making an offer to buy the baby.

'I don't believe that Beyonce or anybody else has a clue about what was flying out of Mathew's mouth. I don't think it was anybody but Mathew.'

Eyebrows are being raised because Oprah Winfrey refused to contribute to the Martin Luther King monument in Washington D.C.

Oprah Winfrey reveres Martin Luther King Jr., but how does she feel about the civil rights leader's Washington memorial?
The media phenomenon, who once said her TV career would not have been possible without King's achievements, is conspicuously missing from the memorial foundation's "Dream Team" of supporters and major contributors - and we hear she declined more than one request for a donation.

On last Sunday, thousands flocked to the National Mall in Washington to see President Obama dedicate the three-story statue of King, carved from granite by Chinese sculptor Lei Yixin. Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin sang "Precious Lord," and Stevie Wonder, Sheryl Crow and James Taylor also performed.

According to the foundation's website (mlkmemorial.org), $6 million remains to be raised for the $120 million project, which has dozens of A-list celebrities behind it.
Among those on the foundation's "Dream Team" of boldface names who contributed their "time and resources to promote and support the memorial" are Muhammad Ali and his daughter Laila Ali, Dr. Maya Angelou, Whoopi Goldberg , Harrison Ford, Morgan Freeman, Carlos Santana, Angela Bassett, Samuel L. Jackson and Chris Brown.
The 57-year-old Winfrey is not on the list, nor is the billionaire's OWN cable network among the media companies featured in the "Major Contributors" section. They include Disney, CBS, BET Networks, Sony and Paramount.
An insider tells us Winfrey's camp was approached for $1 million and, later, $500K, but has yet to contribute.

A spokeswoman for the foundation declined to comment.
Winfrey's spokesman referred us to Chance Patterson, senior vice president of corporate affairs for her Harpo Productions. He did not respond by deadline

So....Tyler Perry has made a surprising casting decision for his movie The Marriage Counselor, which is based on his play of the same name. He just signed on Kim Kardashian and her acting "skills" to co-star alongside Jurnee Smollett. Yes, we're serious.

According to Deadline Hollywood, Tyler P. just gave birthday girl Kim K. (she turned 31 last week) a present she will of course love: Another chance to appear on the big screen and more opportunities to get publicity.
She previously appeared in the satirical movie Disaster Movie. And it's pretty clear Tyler went the publicity-over-actual-talent route this go round in order to have a built-in publicity horse and an additional expanded audience. Which means more cash. But will it work?

Here's what the plot of the movie is all about.

The film tells the story of Judith, an Ivy League-educated relationship expert who makes her living dispensing marital advice, but is so bored with her own marriage that she breaks her professional code and cheats with a smooth talking client only to realize she has made a huge mistake. Jurnee Smollett plays the marriage counselor and Kadashian will play Ava, a co-worker who gives Judith a big city makeover and new confidence as she struggles with her personal issues.

The 82-year-old television host and veteran journalist recently debuted what appears to be a freshly-tightened face sparking rumours that she went under the knife.

With the iconic stars appearing to have rejected the option of aging gracefully or naturally, RadarOnline.com asked a plastic surgery expert why they may have gone to such extremes to fight back the years.
Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Ashkan Ghavami (who has not treated either star) told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview that he thinks both women have had what he calls “the last straw” in facial plastic surgery.

“By last straw, I mean that they have likely had procedures before and now with this extensive work, they look overdone,” Dr. Ghavami told RadarOnline.com.
“Barbara Walters appears to have had another facelift combined with way too much fat or filler injections,” he explained, adding that her face doesn’t look like it has settled yet and still has post-operative swelling.
Dr. Ghavami went on to say that The View host looks like she has had too much fat removed from around her eyelids, causing an “A line” deformity.

“The combination of excess pull and too much fat transfer are likely the culprits here,” he told RadarOnline.com. - Radar Online

I really think Barbara, and Melanie, looked better before. At least Barbara is almost 30 years older and doesn’t have a mask-like face yet. Those cheeks are really bad though. I don’t give a crap about her and found her so pompous during her book tour. She’s a piece of work. I hope she ends up looking like Priscilla Presley or Joan Rivers. Melanie, I like though and I really want her to stop with the visits to her surgeon. It must be hard to see positive results and then take a step back and realize you need to stop or there’s no going back. There are always things we want to improve, but less is best when it comes to surgery and injectables.

Former B2k Member Sued for Running Illegal L.A. Pot Shop

One of the guys from the R&B group B2K is being sued by the State of California for over ONE MILLION DOLLARS for allegedly operating an illegal marijuana dispensary in L.A. Law enforcement officials believe 25-year-old Dreux Pierre Frederic – aka Lil’ Fizz – is one of the owners of the Little Amsterdam weed shop in West Hollywood, CA., which opened for business on July, 1, 2010.

Problem is … dude opened the shop in an area where weed shops are strictly prohibited … this according to the lawsuit, filed Wednesday in L.A. County Superior Court.

In the docs, prosecutors want Lil’ Fizz to shut down his operation ASAP … PLUS, they want him to pay a $2,500 fine for every day the shop has been open … which currently totals 477 days … so, $1,192,500.

And there’s more … prosecutors also want Fizz to pay for law enforcement costs and attorney’s fees related to the case … which could add up to another $750,000.
Wow, hope he has some of that “Bump Bump Bump” money saved up! Do you think he should be forced to pay the fine or should they just make him shut down the shop?
