Designer Reco Chapple show his
collection for NY Fashion Week
Reco Chapple first rose to national prominence as a
season one finalist on Bravo's The Fashion Show. And with Kelly Rowland as one
of his supporters, he continued on after the show to make several appearances at
fashion week in New York.
Asked about The House Of Chapple was the lifestyle
it evokes, he said his consumer is a sexy and confident individual who knows he
or she wants out of life. Focusing on confident lines that accentuate the human
frame, he adds that his garments are for people who are confident in the
sexuality.
- On his 2012 Spring Collection"I make timeless, classic pieces that will last." And with old Hollywood glamour and Bob Mackie among his influences, he says this collection represents the inspiration he received from his recent travels. The line in a mixtures of different cultures and experiences.

Reco made his first showing in NY a few seasons ago with a $10,000 investment. Since then, he has shown consistently and remarked that NY has been very supportive of his talent. He added that is was always his dream to show in NY and that over the years both his business and production strengths has grown as a result of the great reception he's received.

And although his schedule prevented him from attending
other shows, he lists Marc Jacobs and Oscar de la Renta as his favorite
designers.

He lists Michelle Obama and Sarah Jessica Parker as two women he would love to see in his collection. He says he would take their "classic" look and give it a little edge.

supporters of his work, and that Kandi Burress is not only a client, but also a
close friend.

"making it personable." He says adding bangles, bracelets and unique
accessories are the key to keeping your look fresh.
Reco showed his Spring 2012 line last week to rave
reviews. Just another fresh face in the design world to look out
