Fantasia REVEALS That She's Got A Son On The Way!

Fantasia's upcoming delivery may have her confined to bed rest, but that won't stop her and her family from throwing a party!
The "Bittersweet" singer is set to have a baby shower next month and we have the little detail that she revealed on the invites inside.....
Down in Charlotte, NC on October 1, Fanny, Teeny, Aunt Bunny (Chile please!) and the rest of the family are having a big baby shower to celebrate the upcoming birth of the singer's second child.
And S2S is reporting that Fantasia is set to deliver a baby boy. How did she reveal the news? She cleverly dropped a line on the invite that read, "It's a Boy."
Whether you feel some kind of way about the circumstances or not, Fantasia has had a helluva ride the past year or so. With the torrid affair, the suicide attempt and now the pregnancy, she has a lot to sing about and I'm sure that next album will be full of passion. Babies are always a blessing. Congrats Fanny!

Rihanna and Beyonce Collaboration in the Works?

Rihanna is back in the studio working on album number six and Beyonce is rumored to be working on new music with her.
There’s no stopping Rihanna. Less than a year after releasing ‘Loud’ Rihanna is already back in the studio working on her sixth album.
According to Verse Simmonds, who is part of the production duo working on her album, she’s “closing up” recording already. That was quick!
He told MTV: "From what I understand, she is closing the album up now, and we did two records for her that she really, really loved and I'm really excited about them as well. They are records that we wrote and produced as the Jugganauts."
Jugganauts worked on ‘Man Down’ with Rihanna, but Verse insists its going to be a completely different sound.
Verse said: "It'll definitely not sound the same, because we always try, constantly - as producers, as artists - we try to always come with something different, a whole new sound."
Rumor has it that there’s going to be a Rihanna/Beyonce collaboration on the new album—which would be amazing! It’s about time these two get together.

Whitney, Jordin Sparks Confirmed for ‘Sparkle’ Remake

*Whitney Houston is reportedly in final negotiations for a big-screen comeback in Sony’s remake of the 1976 film “Sparkle,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Jordin Sparks will make her feature film debut in the movie, and Mike Epps has also been cast.
Mara Brock Akil wrote the script and her husband, Salim Akil is directing. The latter worked with Epps on Sony’s “Jumping the Broom.”
Houston, meanwhile, hasn’t been in a movie since she traveled to Portland, Maine to make Penny Marshall’s 1996 “The Preacher’s Wife” opposite Denzel Washington.
“Sparkle” focuses on three sisters who form a musical group and then have to contend with the ups and downs of stardom. Debra Martin Chase is producing the Sony project. Production is scheduled to begin next month.

Tupac Shakur Estate Commemorates His Death

The estate of Tupac Shakur commemorated the 15th anniversary of his death with a new section on the official 2pac website and a statement about his musical legacy.
Shakur's estate, run by his mother Afeni, said Tuesday, "It was Tupac's greatest wish to inspire minds and spark ideas that would change the world. She also says she feels like it was just yesterday that her son was shot dead. To honor Tupac’s death, she’s spending time with family and friends out in Northern California. She went on further to say that she feels the same pain now that she felt back in 1996.
"It is the greatest privilege of 2pac.com and Universal Music Enterprises to keep his music and message available to all."
The website also posted Shakur's poem, "In the Event of My Demise" from his book of poetry, The Rose That Grew From Concrete. "In the event of my Demise/When my heart can beat no more/I Hope I Die For A Principle/or A Belief that I had lived 4/I will die Before my Time/Because I feel the shadow’s Depth/So much I wanted 2 accomplish/Before I reached my Death/I have come 2 grips with the possibility/and wiped the last tear from my eyes/I Loved All who were Positive/In the event of my Demise."
Shakur was killed Sept. 13, 1996 in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. He was 25.
Joseph Simmons and Kim Kardashian were among those that remembered the rapper Tuesday. Simmons, aka Reverand Run of Run-DMC and MTV's Run's House tweeted, "RIP Tupac.. I often wonder what the Tupac twitter feed would read like if he was still with us #thingsthatmakeyougohmmm."
Kardashian is tweeting lyrics from Tupac songs throughout the day. She wrote Tuesday, "#TupacTuesday! RIP. I'm gonna tweet random lyrics all day! Guess what songs they are!"

Is Christina Aguilera about to get fired from “The Voice”? 

Christina Aguilera’s life is one full of enablement. She’s a staggering, fall-down drunk who has spent the better part of this year boozing it up and passing out in (of all places) Jeremy Renner’s bed before ratcheting up the drunken drama factor and botching the National Anthem, falling down onstage at The Grammys, and threatening to fire any and all staffers who suggest that she needs some professional help.
All the while, she’s been enabled by her jumpoff boyfriend, Matt Rutler, who doesn’t appear to be employed in any profession other than holding Christina steady as she stumbles out of restaurants and clubs. In addition, NBC has enabled her with a fancy new job on “The Voice.” Of course, we’ve already heard that Christina has been annoying the other judges on the show by refusing to associate with them off camera, and it turns out that the producers of the show aren’t terribly happy with her either. Could she be getting the boot?
X17 can report exclusively that producers at NBC’s “The Voice” plan to axe Christina Aguilera as a coach on the show.
While Aguilera is under contract for season two, a source close to the show tells us bosses are not happy to be stuck with her and they plan on replacing her for season three. Said our source: “She doesn’t spend time with her contestants like she’s supposed to. She doesn’t participate. She spends most of her time on the set with her boyfriend.”
AND we hear she is doing some drinking on the job. But, our source tells us this is part of the on-set culture — we’re told Adam Levine and Blake Shelton frequently take shots while filming to loosen up.
Earlier this year, “The Voice” host Carson Daly said the show would succeed without its original coaches. “This show is bigger than any of its coaches or the host,” he said. “This show will live on in perpetuity with many a star in those chairs.”

Naturally, Christina’s rep was quick to deny this story as “completely false” to Gossip Cop, but that certainly doesn’t mean that NBC isn’t preparing to can Christina’s drunken ass after her contract ends. In all likelihood, they’re already putting out feelers for a female judge to replace her. So this particular denial means nothing because, essentially, Christina exists in a world of drunken denial and is content to believe that her own music career took a nose dive thanks only to Lady Gaga, who obviously copied her and stole her fanbase. Interestingly enough in the X17 article, Cee Lo Green is not included in the shot-taking club of judges. Good for him.

Jennifer Hudson's SURPRISE 30th Birthday Bash!

When Jennifer Hudson flew to DC recently for the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz's 25th
Anniversary Celebration, she had no idea that her family and friends had planned a big surprise for her.

But they did! The family threw a huge party to celebrate her 30th birthday at Opera Ultra Lounge. Lil' Mo was on hand to sing happy birthday.

Raheem Devaughn also stopped by to show Jen some love.

Jen was also greeted by DC-based fashion designer Dana Ayanna Greaves of the label ARTAYA.

During the party, Lil' Mo posed with Raheem.

And Jamie Brown also attended.

Next up for Jen, you'll hear her on the dance floor as she recently recorded a song called "Night Of Your Life" with David Guetta off his latest album.

Talking about Jen, David said, "I always love to take singers and take them out of their boxes, and to come with a dance song with her was really exciting," he says. "She is beautiful in every way: as a person, as a singer, as a human being."

Chris Brown, Kelly Rowland, T-Pain, And Tyga Amaze At The F.A.M.E. Tour Kickoff

Chris Brown and Kelly Rowland kicked off their F.A.M.E. tour in Toronto, Canada to a sold out audience. While Chris may continue to get harassed by the media, it looks like fans don’t care anything about that and cherish his talent instead. Critics from the Toronto Sun had nothing but good things to say about Chris saying that he was the “whole package in terms of dancing, performing, and general showmanship.”

On the other hand, hottie Kelly Rowland did her thing too looking sexy as always. She performed a ton of her new material from her latest album Here I Am. In addition to this, she gave fans a treat by performing some of Destiny’s Child’s big hits.

Other performances from the show came from Tyga. Tyga’s album is set to release later on this year.

T-Pain also made an appearance at the show. T-Pain’s most recent song is 5 0′clock in the morning which features Wiz Khalifa and Lily Allen.

One thing is for sure, Chris Brown tore down the house in Toronto. This is his first show in Canada in six years and I can’t think of a better way to make a comeback to the city. Check out more pictures from the show below:

Singer Kelis's Twitter fury after she is subjected to racist abuse at a London airport

American singer Kelis has launched into an angry Twitter tirade against Britain after she was allegedly subjected to racial abuse in a London airport.
The 32-year-old was waiting at passport control at one of the capital's airports when she was apparently labelled a 'slave' by a middle-aged white man.
She had been travelling home to America with her two-year-old son Knight after performing at Bestival on the Isle Of Wight over the weekend.

The incident took place when Kelis was accused of queue-jumping by a 'red-faced sweaty man (I use the word man loosely here)'.
She went to say he then called her 'slave' and declared she was 'probably a disgusting Nigerian'.
The R&B singer explained: 'He called me kunta kinte and ranted and raved some more.
'The man behind the passport desk laughed, shook his head in agreement I guess, and said "kunta kinte".

'All the while the entire line full of people I just sat on a plane with for almost 3hours, over 50 people said nothing. I mean literally nothing. Didn't flinch.
'We all no (sic) I'm no saint, so I retaliated. Not the way I wanted to or how that pig deserved. But #1 my gorgeous baby boy was literally sitting on my hip and #2 I'm a believer. And we are better. Supposed to be..
Kelis then brought up the London riots in August - which were committed by British people from a range of races, classes and ages.
Obviously upset, the Milkshake singer declared the incident had made her believe the UK was 'decades behind progression'.
She continued: 'I didn't say anything at the time of the riots in London for a lot of reasons. But I am in London all the time and today I'm gonna say that the racial issues in the UK are disgusting.
'Its racially decades behind progression because everything is swept under the rug. People don't talk about it. People don't fight about it. Not mentioning a problem doesn't make it go away.'
After many fans pointed out America's on-going racial tensions - which were most recently highlighted during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Kelis acknowledged her home country also had issues.
She added: 'I bring it up now because as an American it is abundantly clear that my country has a Smorgasbord of disgusting racial problems.
'We are the poster child for racial inequality even still with a black president. But its NO SECRET! And that I can fight against. I can try to prepare and teach my son. Because its out there. But you can't fight for or against something no one is willing to talk about or even admit exist.'

Anti-racism groups were keen to point out that while racism still exists in some pockets of society, the man's alleged behaviour was not representational of British people.
A spokesman for the Runnymede Trust, the U.K.’s leading independent race equality group, told WENN.com: 'It’s worth noting that we’re not a multi-racial paradise in the U.K. but there is a fight back here, and there are lots of ways in which musicians like Kelis can contribute to that. Things like the UpRise music festival in London – 10,000 people making it clear they are against racism.

'But I don’t think we have got a huge amount to learn from America in terms of the racism that operates over there. We are struggling against racism in the same way as people are in the States.'

50 Cent Loses Suit Against Nigerian Author Over Movie Title

A famed Nigerian author won a recent legal battle against 50 Cent to court over the title of his film "Things Fall Apart."
It looks like things are falling apart rather quickly for 50 Cent's upcoming football flick Things Fall Apart. After being sued for $200,000 for unpaid services on the film, the Queens rapper recently lost a major legal battle against famed Nigerian author Chinua Achebe over the movie's title.
According to BroadwayGhana.com, 50 Cent was recently forced to change the name of his upcoming film Things Falls Apart over a copyright dispute involving the title. Upon learning of the film's title, Chinua Achebe, who wrote the iconic 1958 novel of the same name, threatened to sue Fiddy and the film's backers over a violation his celebrated book's copyright.

50 and company attempted settle out of court with the African author's foundation, offering them $1 million to use the title. Ultimately, the Chinua Achebe Foundation refused the offer, and the film's producers persuaded the G-Unit general to change the title to All Things Fall Apart to avoid a more serious legal battle.
"The novel with the said title was initially produced in 1958 (that is 17 years before rapper 50 Cent was born), [is] listed as the mostly read book in modern African literature, and won’t be sold for even $1 billion,” Achebe's legal representatives said.
All Things Fall Apart, which was written by Brian A. Miller and 50 Cent, follows the story of a college football player whose sports career is cut short by cancer. The film was directed by New Jack City maestro Mario Van Peebles and stars Peebles, Ray Liotta and 50 Cent in the lead role.

Ne-Yo and Sony Music Head Clive Davis have been receiving death threats from a deranged fan.
Ne-Yo is victim to some very serious death threats so intense that the FBI had to get involved. A man is threatening to shoot him in the head!
This man is threatning him to get $800,000 from Sony music for him or else. Ne-Yo is pissed and blames Sony music and head honcho Clive Davis. Ne-Yo claims he is being used as a pawn. I would be scared to leave the house. Poor guy, hope this gets resolved soon.

Atlanta’s own TP turns 42 and According to the new Forbes magazine tally, the list of the highest-paid men in entertainment is led by actor/director/screenwriter/producer/author Tyler Perry, whose films have grossed more than $500 million worldwide.
He tops a list — measuring the entertainers’ earnings from May 2010 to May 2011 — that also includes Steven Spielberg, Simon Cowell and one of the only actors on the list, Leonardo DiCaprio.

How did Perry make it to the top with $130 million over the past year? Mark Jackson Doubles as Coach and Pastor

*Mark Jackson stands without a sound in the front left corner of his Southern California church, rocking from foot to foot with his eyes closed and his hands clasped behind his back, reports Fox Sports.
This dance lasts several seconds before he interrupts the silence with piercing claps and starts bellowing prayers in a distinctive, deep voice. This solo act lasts several minutes more before the congregation joins with vociferous offerings and more clapping.

Sisters Beyonce & Solange Knowles made their way to the Lincoln Center today to take in a load if New York Fashion Week festivities. Bey donned a fun gold tulle ruffled mini skirt and matching gold top. Then changed into a gold sequin 3/4 sleeve dress.

While Solange played it colorful with a hot pink top with a huge bow, blue printed tailored pants, and yellow heels. We've got their day at Fashion Week inside...
