CAT FIGHT 2.0…MEOW! Kelis Calls Katy Perry Crap
Kelis is not a fan of Katy Perry's
brand of pop music and is not afraid to say it.
R&B singer Kelis is not a fan
of "California Gurls" hitmaker Katy Perry.
According to Britain's Daily Star newspaper she said, "Katy Perry is crap. It's just poor pop. Her name might be on her stuff but that doesn't mean it's any good."….OUCH!
Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera recently ended Perry's record-breaking run at the top of the U.S. pop chart.
Perry's "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)," which became the fifth single from her "Teenage Dream" album to reach number one on the Hot 100, drops to five after spending two weeks on top.

GAY FRIENDLY OVERLOAD???? The Game Calls 50 Cent Gay
The Game recently opened up about
his views on the homosexual community in an interview with VLADTV. News source
TMZ caught wind of the interview and posted an article titled ‘The Game:
Closeted Gays Spread Aids’. Apparently The Game wasn’t too happy about the title
of the post and fired back at TMZ on twitter. While making his point to TMZ
though, he dropped a name: 50 Cent. In his interview with VLADTV, he never said
any specific names but did say that there were some gay rappers in the industry.
Interesting that he took this moment to drop 50′s name. I’m guessing The Game
doesn’t care that he dropped 50′s name either because he still hasn’t deleted
the tweets and he said it hours ago. Check the tweets out for
yourself!
Do you think 50 Cent
will fire back to what The Game said? 50 is known for ending careers. Do you
think The Game’s statement about 50 is even true?

Cooler than a DeLorean: Nike releases self-lacing Back To The Future sneakers
Nike is going back to the
future.
The company said Thursday that it has created a limited-edition shoe based on the model audiences saw in the 1989 movie Back To The Future II.
Sneaker and movie fans have urged the company for years to create the self lacing shoe, a cult classic worn by actor Michael J Fox during the 80's movie.

It will auction them on eBay and

Rosie O’Donnell blames her rage issues on ‘zero estrogen’
Rosie O’Donnell is the co-cover
girl on Oprah’s O Magazine this month (because Oprah never lets anyone get the
cover unless she standing right next to them as they lick her ass). Rosie is
attempting to remake her image after seeming so pissed off at the world when she
stood her ground against View co-hostess Elisabeth Hasselbeck, quit that job and
then later mildly trashed her then-employer, Barbara Walters. (Who deserved it,
but still.) She’s got a new show on the OWN network and Oprah has to present
Rosie as reformed and back to her old ’90s koosh-throwing self. I think that
ship has sailed, but admittedly I haven’t listened to Rosie on satellite radio
lately. Many of you have commented that she’s got a great show despite the dumb
sh*t she often says.
So here’s how Rosie explains away her breakup with her longterm girlfriend, and her anger issues. She tends to place blame on external factors instead of taking personal responsibility, but it sounds like she understands that she needs to change her image.
Rosie O’Donnell opens up to Oprah Winfrey in O, The Oprah Magazine about her split with Kelli Carpenter, how she calmed her rage, why she takes to being a mother-of-four, what led her to the OWN network and more in an in-depth Q&A between the talk show legends.
In the interview, O’Donnell opens up about her 2007 split from ex Kelli Carpenter, calling it “humbling” and “humiliating.”

“In the O’Donnell
family, no one had ever been divorced,” the Exit To Eden star
explained.
O’Donnell told a story about their conflicting lifestyles that ultimately led to their split.
“She wanted to play tennis at the country club, and I don’t do country clubs. I tried,” O’Donnell said. “They made an exception for a gay family, and we joined. It was a big thing: ‘They let in a gay family – whoo!’

“So I show up to
play with her, and somebody comes out and says, ‘You can’t play unless you have
tennis whites.’”O’Donnell told Winfrey that receiving estrogen treatments
has helped her stop seeing red all the time.
“I had, like, zero estrogen. And since I got some, I’ve been able to function more normally,” O’Donnell said. “I’ve stopped being so angry. You know, I think I had a lot more rage than I was aware of.
“But I’ve gotten back access to my other feelings. I’m not cut off from my emotions anymore.”
O’Donnell held little back in discussing her four children, admitting that she often connects better with the young’uns than she does adults.
“The truth is, I’m a little socially awkward — with adults, I still need Relationship 101. But I was always comfortable around kids and always wanted a family of my own.

“I would
die for any of my children, and, more importantly, I would live for any of
them.”
O’Donnell returns to the air with the debut of The Rosie Show on OWN next month; Winfrey gave her prize acquisition huge words of praise, saying that “in 25 years of doing my show, only one competitor ever seriously challenged me in the ratings: Rosie O’Donnell.
“From the day Rosie took her place among the crowded field of talk show hosts, I knew she had the ‘It’ thing,” Winfrey said.
O’Donnell returned the praise, admitting she passed on a network deal to hitch her wagon onto Oprah’s brand.
“I was actually on the verge of signing a new deal with NBC, and — this probably sounds kiss-assy, but it’s true — just before I was about to sign, I remember saying to my agent, ‘Doesn’t Oprah have her own channel? Can we call there?’
“If I was going back to entertaining, I wanted to work with you,” O’Donnell said.

[From Radar Online]
I find it very hard to believe that Rosie was on the verge of signing a deal with NBC. She had a live variety show on NBC in the fall of 2008 that was absolutely unfunny, awful, and completely tanked in the ratings. Oprah kind of says it all when she explains that she’s never had competition from any other talk show hostess. Now she’s Rosie’s boss, and I’m sure she’s relishing that.
As for the estrogen stuff causing mood problems, I’ve heard that before. It must be really tough to go through menopause. US Weekly has some more quotes from the interview in which Rosie says that hormone shots changed her life.

There’s a promo clip for Rosie’s
new shown on the OWN website. It’s kind of disjointed and annoying.
Oh and the cover is just so fug. Rosie is holding a stage curtain over her front, but it looks like she’s lifting up her dress to reveal fishnets and gold combat boots with her toes pointing inward. It’s awful and they made her all clownish while Oprah got to look glam. Typical.

Is Jay-Z's Realty Company Harassing
Renters Out Of Condos?
This is a strange Jay-Z
news.
According to FoxsNews.com, current and former tenants of a luxury building in Philadelphia co-owned by Jay-Z are being harassed in order to get residents to vacate the premises.
"I'm scared of Jay-Z," a tenant told Fox News. "I've endured endless harassment from his team of lawyers, and I can't take it anymore. I don't know when this drama is going to end."

Fox News reports:
The 24-unit condominium complex was
purchased by SCC North American Realty, LLC, in January of 2009. According to
the Philadelphia Inquirer, SCC North American Realty, LLC, is partially owned by
Shawn Carter, otherwise known as Jay-Z.
"The whole thing has been so unsettling,” former tenant Liza Tedeschi tells FoxNews.com exclusively. “I've been in tears over this.”
Tedeschi claims Jay-Z's legal team has been trying to evict tenants at his four-year-old building.
“They filed a lawsuit against me knowing that I had paid the rent. The lawyer admitted it to me, yet they still filed the lawsuit against me,” says Tedeschi.

harassment. They're filing frivolous lawsuits. They gave my personal cell phone
number out to what seems like every realtor in town to show my apartment. I've
gotten phone calls at 9 p.m. on a Friday night. They're on a coordinated crusade
of harassment–everyone who's left in the building is being sued."
It's a good thing Jay-Z didn't send Memphis Bleek to the building to handle business. Those tenants would really be scared then.

Nicki Minaj's Multi-Stop Fashion Night Out and DRAMATIC ENDING!
Fully immersing herself in the
Fashion's Night Out festivities, Nicki Minaj had quite the busy evening as she
trekked about New York City
The "Pink Friday" hitmaker kicked things off as the Yves St. Laurent store's guest of honor, as she tweeted of the stop, "Barbz, the President of YSL said we made history for the most pandemonium ever. *kisses the barbz*"

Proceeding forth with her

a message reading, "Believe it or not, we've driven over 20 blocks and a couple
ken barbz r still trailing us. Lmaooo. If this ni€€a bang my window 1 more time!

Once arrived at her destination, the 28-year-old joined alongside store namesake Giuseppe Zanotti Boutique while holding a pair of neon green and black kicks in-hand.

Closing things out at Versace, But
while at Versace Leave it to Nicki Minaj and her Barbz & Kenz to turn a
typically only slightly rambunctious but with a touch of snob appeal type event
into an all-out mob scene. When Drake hit the 1's and 2's at the Versace
boutique on NY's 5th Avenue to help celebrate Fashion's Night Out, Nicki Minaj
and Jay-Z stopped by to visit. And so did stacks on stacks of fans--causing a
police controlled mob scene outside the store.
Most of the hundreds of fans
outside never even got a whiff of inside the Versace store tonight. But the
crowds were so large and spilling over into the streets, and the crowds inside
were busting at the seams, we hear the police had to shut it
down.
Drake make a guest appearance as a
celeb DJ for tonight's event. And his Young Money labelmate Nicki stopped by.
And so do Mr. Shawn Carter. Apparently that was all just too much star power
for the fans to handle, because Nicki was whisked out of the store and on to the
after parties once police started shutting down the hoopla.Folks were all
a-twitter about the madness going on.
Nicki tweeted upon the end of her
style-strong night on the town, "Ok barbz, we had a blast tonite. Love u always

The real reason why TIP is back in Jail till the end of the month!
It appears that T.I. getting put
back into jail was not because of his tricked out bus, as his lawyers claimed,
but because prison officials found out that his manager and a VH1 producer on
board the bus to talk business! According to Bureau of Prisons documents
obtained by CNN,
“such
people were not authorized to travel with him in the conditions of his furlough.
[T.I.] further indicated he was discussing a new reality series and a book with
those individuals.”
Because T.I. broke the rules of his probation, in which he was to stay in a halfway house until the last day of his sentence on September 29, he will stay in a federal penitentiary until that date. Lawyer Steve Sadow still say that the feds are wrong and that “no business was conducted on the bus,” and goes on to say that even those accusations aren’t a violation,
“The provision itself speaks in terms of conducting a business or conducting or directing an investment transaction. The purpose of that provision is not so that people can’t talk about their business, it’s so that you don’t run a business while you’re in the Bureau of Prisons.”

This much we know for sure: T.I.
will be getting out of the big house by the end of the month.
As for why exactly he wound up back behind bars following what was supposed to be an early release—that still seems to be a bone of contention between the feds, who claim his VH1 reality show was the reason, and the rapper’s lawyers, who are crying foul.
Furthermore, the lawyer says that VH1 and T.I. had long signed a deal back in July and that there was no need to do business on the bus.
T.I.’s case will go before the disciplinary hearing officer and I’ll have news on who the officer thinks is right or wrong. According to Sadow,
“T.I. is doing all right. He believes he’s been singled out in this instance for his celebrity status and would just like the opportunity to return to the halfway house and complete his sentence.”

Slain Mississippi Man's Male Partner CANNOT Join Wrongful Death Lawsuit Against White Teens
More developments in the horrific
case of James Craig Anderson, the Black Mississippi man killed in an alleged
racially motivated hit-and-run murder.
Anderson's family filed a
wrongful-death lawsuit on Tuesday against the group of white teenagers that
police say is responsible. Anderson had a long-term male partner of almost two
decades and they were raising a daughter. Anderson's long-term partner cannot
join the legal action, reports the New York Times.
The lawsuit, filed in Hinds County Circuit Court in Jackson, depicts the death of James C. Anderson as a racially motivated attack and outlines an evening of drinking that culminated with a caravan of teenagers from a largely white suburban county driving 16 miles to Jackson intent on harassing African-Americans.

"We want to send a message to
people who want to use race as a reason to target someone," said Morris Dees of
the Southern Poverty Law Center, who joined Winston Thompson III, the family’s
lawyer, in filing the suit. "It appears this group went out to target a black
person."
The suit did not specify an amount for damages, but it included accusations of negligence as a way to tap into the homeowner’s insurance policies of some of the families of the young people involved, Mr. Dees said.
The lawsuit makes public for the first time the names of all seven people who had piled into the two vehicles that night, charging that while some were directly responsible for assaulting and killing Mr. Anderson, others were negligent because they acted as lookouts and did not try to help Mr. Anderson.
James Bradfield, Mr. Anderson’s partner of 17 years, is not a plaintiff. Under Mississippi law, same-sex partners have no claim in civil actions like this, Mr. Dees said. There was no indication that Mr. Anderson’s sexual orientation was a factor in the crime.

two carloads of teenagers driving into the parking lot. Several approached
Anderson, who was beaten and robbed. The video shows Anderson being struck by a
truck. Witnesses report one teenager yelled "white power" and the driver of the
pickup shouted the n-word.
Two of the seven defendants in the suit have been charged. Nineteen-year-old Daryl Dedmon, who was driving the pickup, faces capital murder charges and is being held without bond. The driver of the second car was charged with assault and has been released on bond. Prosecutors say they will try to charge the other teens before a grand jury later this month. The FBI is also involved in the case.

The slain man's partner of almost
two decades is forced to sit on the sidelines—courtesy of the Defense of
Marriage Act and the lack of statewide protections for LGBTs and same-sex
couples in Mississippi. Yet another example of Mississippi
justice.

Designer John Galliano has been convicted of hurling anti-Semetic slurs in Paris.
A court in Paris convicted John
Galliano of anti-Semitic slurs, but he will not serve jail time. He was issued a
suspended €4,000 fine (meaning he'll have to pay if he screws up again) for
slinging anti-Semitic insults at a couple in a Paris café and was ordered to pay
the two plaintiffs a symbolic €1. He was also issued a suspended €2,000 fine for
a separate incident in October of 2010, which is not the one captured so
shockingly in a video filmed in December of last year.
Galliano, who was not in court to
hear his sentence, faced a maximum of six months in jail plus a €22,500 (about
$31,000) fine. At his June trial, the prosecutor asked judges for a guilty
sentence with no jail time and a €10,000 (about $14,000) fine. Plaintiff
Geraldine Bloch sought a single euro and "expression of regret" from Galliano,
while her significant other, Philippe Virgitti, also a plaintiff, wanted
compensation for "moral damage."
With Fashion Week starting today, expect the mood in the tents to be light. Galliano is now free to take a job at another label, if he's asked. Surely, with such expressions of support from the industry's most influential people, and that pretty new Vogue spread he appeared in, someone is interested.

Update: Galliano's lawyer Aurélien
Hamelle spoke to the BBC about the verdict. Noting that his client got no jail
time and has to pay no fines, he said, "There is no penalty so to speak which is
a very strong sign by the courts, because it shows the court took into account
his sincere apology, the fact that Mr. Galliano undertook treatment for his
addiction."
At the June trial, Galliano blamed his outbursts on addictions to alcohol and prescription drugs. Hamelle added, "Mr Galliano is relieved. Relieved that these eight months are behind him. He is looking forward to a future with understanding and forgiveness, hopefully, and to put all of this behind him."

She tells the mag,
"I went to a predominantly white school and I was the only black girl. I can remember thinking, 'I don't want to be as dark as I am - I want to be a little fairer.' I didn't want to be me. Tina [Beyonce's mother] sat me in front of the mirror and said, 'Girl, look at how pretty you are.' She made me feel comfortable in my own skin,”

She's mentioned this before in

It's official! Ben & Jerry's confirms Schweddy Balls ice cream is coming to a store near you
As Molly Shannon said on Saturday
Night Live, 'Christmas is a time for traditional foods and bite-sized treats'
and in the much-loved 'Schweddy Balls' skit, Alec Baldwin presents his famous
dessert.
And now the rumours are true, as Ben & Jerry's announced they're releasing a 'Schweddy Balls' ice cream flavour full in time for the holidays.
The ice cream will have a hint of rum and be overflowing with spherical treats - fudge covered rum balls and milk chocolate malt balls.
Baldwin had this to say via a press release: 'For a long time, I thought that "Here Lies Pete Schweddy" would end up on my tombstone. Now, thanks to Ben & Jerry's, the goodness of the Schweddy family recipe won't go with me to the great beyond. It is immortalized here, right now, and it's an ice cream. Ben & Jerry's and Schweddy. Two great names in American dessert, together at last.'

'Ben & Jerry's is coming out with a Schweddy Balls ice cream for Christmas this year'.
The Vermont-based company has previously released limited edition flavours with pop culture tie-ins, including One Sweet Whirled with the Dave Matthews Band and, currently, Stephen Colbert's Americone Dream.
Americone Dream consists of vanilla ice cream with fudge-covered waffle cone pieces and caramel.
Announcing the new flavour on February 14, 2007, Ben & Jerry's called it: 'The sweet taste of liberty in your mouth'.
These offerings join the company's perennial favourites like Chunky Monkey, Half Baked and Chocolate Fudge Brownie.
Ben & Jerry's has long offered Cherry Garcia, honouring the late Grateful Dead singer Jerry Garcia, as well as Phish Food, named after the band.
A Wavy Gravy flavour honoured the 60s era clown of the same name, and featured caramel and cashew/Brazil nut ice cream with a hazelnut-fudge swirl and roasted almonds.
The company renamed a flavour Yes Pecan in honour of Barack Obama's 2008 victory, and donated all proceeds to the Common Cause Education Fund.
The company has also offered flavours unique to specific countries, such as Black and Tan in Ireland, a cream stout ice cream swirled with chocolate.

The Schweddy Balls SNL skit is part of the 'Delish Dish' series, in which cast mates Shannon and Gasteyer played monotone-talking NPR anchors, who repeatedly said 'neat' and 'good times' while covering various culinary misadventures.
Alec Baldwin appeared as a guest on their faux program, named Pete Schweddy, the owner of a 'holiday bakery with a very, very clever name, Season’s Eatings'.
Ms Shannon, in character, told Mr Baldwin that she loved his store name, and that 'Christmas is a time for traditional foods and bite-sized treats'.
Mr Baldwin said: 'There are lots of
great treats this year. Zucchini bread, fruit cake, but the thing I most like to
get out this time of year are my balls'.
A series of double entendre jokes followed, including the words 'glistening' and 'misshapen'.
Mr Baldwin said, 'No one can resist my Schweddy balls'.
Ms Gasteyer also joked, 'I like to leave Santa some tap water and rice. If Santa is anything like me, Christmas foods really wreak havoc on the digestive system'.
Ms Shannon said: 'I can’t ever leave food out in my apartment because I have an excessive rat problem'.

LeBron Finally Shaves His Head?
Bald is beautiful T...
Last summer was the decision, and this year has been the Summer of LeBron’s hairline…The Self Proclaimed King has been the brunt of many hairline jokes the past few months…Has all the hate towards his hairline forced the King to shave his Crown? We just received this picture of what appears to be a bald dome…I can’t really tell if Bron’s hairline is that far back, or did he finally cave and shave.
