New Birth church members reacted to the news that Bishop Eddie Long’s 5th accuser had been found with enduring support. Fox News 5 Atlanta recently stopped by the church after Wednesday Bible Study to interview parishioners regarding their opinions about the continuing scandal. Those that did stop and talk with the reporters expressed that they didn’t care what the media said about the Bishop, they weren’t going anywhere. One guy said, “That doesn’t matter to me. I know who he is and it’s just talk. He’s a good spiritual dad. So that’s all I can say.” One woman, when asked about the 5th accuser said, “I think that’s just a scam to bring him down. He’s bringing the word out so strong right now. They just trying to bring him down.”
Fox News also found an old facebook post by the 5th accuser, Centino Kemp, that stated, “I may be bad but I got paid perfectly good for it.”

Brietbart’s Bid to Toss Shirley Sherrod’s Defamation Lawsuit Rejected

Breitbart attempted to leverage DC’s new anti-SLAPP law by claiming Sherrod’s lawsuit was an impingement on his free speech, but a federal judge has denied that motion as well as another to move the case to California.
Sherrod is suing Breitbart, Breitbart’s colleague Larry O’Connor and an unnamed defendant over the release of a video clip and accompanying text on Breitbart’s Web site claiming the video offered proof that Sherrod, who is black, discriminated against white farmers. Sherrod, in her complaint, argues Breitbart made defamatory accusations of racism based on a “deceptively edited” clip that was taken out of context.
Breitbart and O’Connor had argued that they were engaging in protected speech under the First Amendment when they posted the clip and comments online. They also argued that if the case is not dismissed, it should be moved to U.S. District Court for Central California because it’s where Breitbart and O’Connor live and work on the Web-based businesses in question.

Randy Moss Retires from Football
*One of the NFL’s greatest all-time receivers is hanging up his cleats.
After 13 seasons, Randy Moss has announced he will retire from the National Football League.
Moss’s agent, Joel Segal, said Monday that the receiver was considering offers from several teams, but made the decision to retire. Segal declined to comment specifically on the offers, instead saying his 34-year-old client felt the time was right to step away.
“Randy has weighed his options and considered the offers and has decided to retire,” Segal said.
His career started with seven electric seasons with the Minnesota Vikings before he went dormant for two years in Oakland. He re-emerged as a force with the New England Patriots in 2007, hauling in a single-season record 23 TD passes from Tom Brady to help the Patriots reach the Super Bowl.
Moss was traded back to the Vikings in October of last season, but the celebrated reunion lasted just four weeks. Fed up with his petulant behavior, Vikings coach Brad Childress cut Moss in November, a stunning move that played a role in the coach’s dismissal a few weeks later.
Moss finished the season with eight games in Tennessee, but made little impact with the Titans. Segal said earlier this summer that the receiver was training hard and determined to prove to the doubters that he could still dominate the game like he had in the past.
“Randy has been a great player for a long time,” said Bob Pruett, Moss’ college coach at Marshall. “He’s choosing this on his own terms and I think that’s good. If that’s what he wants to do, that’s what he should do.”

The football player was released from prison after serving 20 months on a gun charge stemming from an attempting criminal weapons possession. But he’s coming out on top with a one-year deal with the Jets.
Excited about the new move, the athlete wrote on his Twitter page: “East Coast here I come!”
Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez retweeted his new receiver and added: “Paperwork in hand??? Haha welcome to the squad.”
In the past, he mentioned he had interest in other teams like the San Francisco 49ers.

Clearly not in the midst of a fallout as reports alleged earlier in the day, Kanye West and Jay-Z were side-by-side for an exclusive listening event for their upcoming album "Watch The Throne" in New York City on Monday night (August 1).
The hip-hop superstars laughed it up with one another at the Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History with Beyonce Knowles and Destiny's Child gal pal Kelly Rowland also in attendance.

Amy Winehouse Drug Connect Comes Forward
A London drug dealer is telling police he hooked Amy Winehouse up with $2000 worth of crack cocaine the night she died.
A London drug fixer claims he helped Amy Winehouse buy £1,200 of crack cocaine and heroin the night before she died.
Tony Azzopardi, who is due to be re-interviewed by police today, alleged he helped the late singer buy the Class A narcotics in the early hours of July 23rd - the same day she was found dead in her London home.
The 56-year-old, who was introduced to the tragic star by her ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil, claimed he wanted her family to 'know the truth about what happened'.
Azzopardi told the Daily Mirror he bumped into the singer in a black cab near The Eagle pub around 11:30pm on July 22nd.
Several people had previously claimed to have seen Amy outisde the Good Mixer bar in Camden that night.
Azzopardi claims Amy asked him to help her buy some drugs and they rode together in the taxi to West Hampstead, where he made a phonecall to a local dealer.
A short time later, he alleges the singer handed over £1,200 for half an ounce each of crack and heroin.
He claims he last saw her when she dropped him off in Archway, North London before heading back to her Camden home.
Hours later, Amy's lifeless body was found by her bodyguard around 4pm.
Despite Azzopardi's claims, police said they found no drug paraphenalia at the singer's house.
However, the Winehouse family say Azzopardi's story does not match up with Amy's movements.
Winehouse's father Mitch told mourners at Amy's funeral last week how she had quit drinking recently after giving up drugs several years previously.
The family have confirmed they believe Amy quitting booze may have contributed to her untimely death, with her body going into shock or a seizure from alcohol withdrawal.
Mitch said Amy was happy with her boyfriend Reg Traviss and was looking forward to the future in the days leading up to her death.
It could be several weeks before the cause of Amy's death is discovered as her family await a toxicology report.
An initial post-mortem proved inconclusive.
