Playboy Models Recreate Their Most Iconic Covers Decades Later
Today, more than ever, society is really latching onto the idea that age is “just a number.”
Case in point, Playboy, a magazine known for its provocative images of the young and beautiful, changed things up with a recent photo shoot. Seven former Playboy models (or “playmates”) joined forces with the magazine to recreate their iconic covers decades later. For most of the models, their original covers were shot 30-40 years ago! Despite the vast jump in time, the ladies still look unbelievably gorgeous.

One of the models, Kimberly Conrad (above), 54, was actually married to Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and is the mother to two of his sons, Cooper and Marston Hefner. Cooper himself invited his mom to partake in the cover shoot (on Mother’s Day, ironically!)

#RHoA: Former ‘RHOA’ Claudia Jordan seeks love on ‘Million-Dollar Matchmaker’
(ajc) Former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member and Rickey Smiley morning show co-host Claudia Jordan is looking for love on Patti Stanger‘s WE-TV show “Million Dollar Matchmaker” this Friday at 9 p.m.
At age 44, the former model and current actress has never been married and has attracted plenty of lying cheaters to her nest.

According to the WE-TV promo for Friday’s episode, “Patti goes to extreme measures to get Claudia to thoroughly vet guys to find her Mr. Right and calls the man who Claudia needs to confront in order to move on and find true love. Jordan, who was on “Real Housewives” season seven in 2015 and was last seen on the short-lived TV One reality show “The Next 15,” said she had just gotten out of a relationship and knew friends who had worked with Stanger before. “I thought it would be fun to have someone else help me find a man,” Jordan said. “Why not let a professional intervene and kind of see what they come up with?”

She moved back to Los Angeles a couple of years ago after her brief time in Atlanta and said it’s hard to find decent dudes to date. She feels there are plenty of pretty women in town and potentially viable guys prefer to play the field rather than commit.

Jordan was also surprised how quickly Stanger dug into her past to find the roots of her issues regarding her father. “That was a real emotional moment,” she said. “I left it drained. I wasn’t expecting to go there. I thought it would be more surface. But if I was going to do this, I was going to respect the process. Trust her and go for it.”
She said she has a tendency to seek validation in the men in her life, seek their approval. “I give people more credit than they deserve,” she said. “I’m very trusting until I see otherwise. I’m not a private investigator. I don’t want people to Google me. There’s a lot of fake stuff about me out there. Unfortunately, not everyone is as honest as Claudia Jordan. I’m straight up with people. But so many folks will pretend. They’re nothing like what they seem on the surface.”

But despite getting burned, Jordan said hasn’t given up on finding the right guy. “It hasn’t hardened me,” she said. “I’m still a hopeless romantic.”
Since returning to Los Angeles from Atlanta, she has partnered with a company to sell Just Peachy wine and another one to start a cosmetic line called Celphie Cosmetics.
She also began taking acting seriously and booked several movie roles, including “Jason’s Letter” about police brutality starring Vivica A. Fox.

And she said she is also in another movie starring Columbus Short and Brian White called “The List.” And with her radio background, she has been doing a podcast called “Unstable’D” with Mike Hill, Guy Torry and Steve Wilson where they discuss comedy, news, sports and entertainment.

“Once I stopped standing in my own way, things have been happening,” Jordan said. “Now I’m getting more calls for more roles. I love it!”

#EMPIRE Finally Made The Tiny Change It's Always Needed!
As a primetime soap, Empire is, by design, A Lot. Feuds, schemes, and general treachery are constantly afoot, and people happen to say, “To the empire,” far more in one episode than I’ve said in my entire life. But, amid all of this drama-filled chaos, Empire is at its heart about one Miss Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson). That’s the reason the story begins on the day Cookie gets out of prison and heads to New York City to reclaim her part of “the empire.” I mean how many times over the last four seasons have we heard the former convict purr some variation of, “I’m going to get what’s mine?” That’s why it was so fulfilling to finally see the FOX drama make a huge change in the smallest of ways during the season 4 premiere, “Noble Memory.” That much-awaited moment arrives when viewers finally see Cookie’s golden likeness emblazoned above the Empire insignia during the title card sequence.

Although the gesture only appears onscreen for about five seconds, what it actually means for the Lee Daniels series is monumental. Over nearly 50 episodes, the face of Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) traditionally appears in that spot. You know, the same Lucious Lyon who allowed Cookie to go jail for his own crimes, went on to use his wife’s money to create an empire, cut her out of the narrative, and divorced her while she rotted in jail, alone. Yes, that Lucious Lyon. Despite all of Lucious’ actual and spiritual crimes, the title card signaled the rapper-turned-mogul was still the top dog of the series and his company, whether he deserved it or not.

By finally giving Cookie the spotlight above Empire’s name, the show is suggesting this will finally be the Year Of Cookie when it comes the company she built with her blood, sweat, tears, and incarceration. Since the beginning of the show, Cookie has desperately been trying to get a handle on Empire Entertainment while continuously being thwarted by the boundless ego of Lucious. Despite all of the hits Cookie has made, starting with her “ex”-husband’s iconic career, and the fires she put out, Lucious insisted he would never hand over a single drop of power to the woman who gave him everything he holds dear.
After seeing Cookie take center stage in the “Noble Memory” title card, it’s especially exciting to watch where this new season will take her. During the season 3 finale, she and Lucious were ready to give their relationship a real try by traveling the world together. They would take in the sights while eldest son Andre Lyon (Trai Byers) would lead the family company — everyone gets what they want. This happily-ever-after plan was foiled by the explosion of a car bomb hiding under Lucious’ vehicle, which left the Lyon patriarch in a coma. As we learn in the season 4 premiere, he also lost his left leg.

Considering the proclamations of love between Cookie and Lucious before the accident, that could mean the former hypothetically could have left Empire Entertainment behind to care for her man full-time. But, this is Cookie Lyon we’re talking about. In the first moments we see the businesswoman after the title card, she’s in full CEO mode. She making big decisions about press briefings, media coverage, and the upcoming Empire 20th anniversary concert. “Our share prices are high, or revenue is strong, Lucious’ back catalog is more valuable than ever,” Cookie rattles off to an underling, sounding every bit the chief operating officer she is. While Cookie easily could have ran to Lucious' side and handed the company over to Andre, as she had originally planned before the explosion, she’s instead continuing to be the boss we’ve always known her to be.

The Lyon mom’s calm, cool, and collected stewardship of Empire comes in stark contrast with the only other person who has dethroned Luscious in the deeply metaphorical opening sequence. That person is her son Hakeem Lyon (Bryshere Y. Gray). Please let it sink in that Mr. “Drip Drop” himself got the keys to the Empire kingdom long before the wildly capable Cookie ever did. As you can expect, the entire thing was a disaster. In "A Rose By Any Other Name," Hakeem makes a manipulative, eventually fatal sex tape, Mimi Whiteman (Marisa Tomei) is murdered by her wife — and Hakeem’s lover — Camilla Marks-Whiteman (Naomi Campbell), and Lucious bullies Camilla into committing suicide. Literally all of that happens in a single 43-minute episode because Hakeem was in charge. Yet, Empire’s answer to Joffrey “Baratheon” (Jack Gleeson) made it to title card infamy in less than 25 episodes. It took Cookie nearly double that amount to get the same golden treatment on a show that’s arguably hers before anyone else’s.

At least we can rest assured knowing we’re going to see more of supreme boss lady Cookie going forward in season 4. As previews confirm, with Lucious’s garbage self sidelined following his traumatizing accident, Cookie will be in charge of protecting the Empire Entertainment ship from all sides. Not only will she be leading the business as we see in "Noble," she’ll also be going toe-to-toe with Diana Dubois (Phylicia Rashad) as she attempts to completely dismantle the Lyon family by whatever means necessary, blackmail and sexual collusion included

While Diana is a formidable opponent, she should probably watch her back. As I said, Cookie has been trying to get what's hers for four seasons now. Now that she's grabbed it by the gold-plated credits sequence, not even Claire Huxtable can get in her.

#HIPHOPNEWS: Forbes' Annual Hip Hop Cash Kings List Features Some New Blood
Forbes has unveiled their annual Hip Hop Cash Kings list, which features new high-earners in addition to some familiar faces.

Diddy tops the list once again, earning an astounding $130 million over a 12-month span that Forbes ended calculating in June 2017. That’s more than double what he made ($62 million) to wear the crown as 2016’s Hip Hop Cash King.
Drake, JAY-Z and Dr. Dre maintained their positions in the Top 5, albeit in a different order. Drizzy secured the #2 spot by a wide margin, earning $94 million as opposed to JAY-Z’s $42 million and Dr. Dre’s $34.5 million.

The biggest change this year is the inclusion of Chance The Rapper, who cracked the Top 5 with $32 million. Despite having no physical albums, the Chicago MC was able to rake in the big bucks thanks to streaming and touring as well as major deals with Apple and Kit Kat.
Kendrick Lamar just missed the Top 5, coming in at #6 with $30 million. That’s still a significant jump from 2016 when he was #9. Lil Yachty was another newcomer to make the list at #20, which is another sign of the changing times in Hip Hop.

Check out the Top 10 below and head over to Forbes for the entire list.
1. Diddy ($130 million)
2. Drake ($94 million)
3. JAY-Z ($42 million)
4. Dr. Dre ($34.5 million)
5. Chance The Rapper ($32 million)
6. Kendrick Lamar ($30 million)
7. Wiz Khalifa ($28 million)
8. Pitbull ($27 million)
9. DJ Khaled ($24 million)
10. Future ($23 million)

#PRAYERS: Julia Louis-Dreyfus reveals she has breast cancer
Julia Louis-Dreyfus, the star of the hit HBO show "Veep," revealed on Thursday she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
She wrote on Twitter, "1 in 8 women get breast cancer. Today, I'm the one. The good news is that I have the most glorious group of supportive and caring family and friends, and fantastic insurance through my union. The bad news is that not all women are so lucky, so let's fight all cancers and make universal health care a reality."

"Veep" recently announced that the upcoming 7th season of the HBO show will be its last. The actress recently took home the Emmy for Best Actress for her role in "Veep." She received her cancer diagnosis one day after the Emmys.
HBO said, "Our love and support go out to Julia and her family at this time. We have every confidence she will get through this with her usual tenacity and undaunted spirit, and look forward to her return to health and to HBO for the final season of 'Veep.'"
The last season of "Veep" is currently being written, and HBO will adjust the production as needed, a source told Fox News.
Louis-Dreyfus, 56, has two children with actor Brad Hall. She is best known for her role as Elaine Benes on "Seinfeld."
Tony Hale, her "Veep" co-star, tweeted about the diagnosis. He posted the actress' message and wrote, "We love this woman."

Family reunion! See the cast of 'Family Matters' together again
It's been nearly 20 years since "Family Matters" went off the air, but that doesn't meant it still doesn't matter a whole lot to its fans and cast members,
And thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we're now getting a peek behind-the-scenes of what it was like to make the classic ABC sitcom, which ran for 215 episodes from 1989-98 and introduced the world to Jaleel White's Steve Urkel.

Yes, they did that!

EW spoke with several cast members (including White, JoMarie Payton, Reginald VelJohnson, Kellie Shanygne Williams, Darius McCarry, Telma Hopkins, Shawn Harrison and Bryton James) recently as part of a (sadly) magazine-only reunion recently, and we got the full scoop on everything from where the cast is today to how exactly Urkel became such a cultural phenomenon.
"I was actually on my way out of the business," recalled White about creating his memorable character. "But my [agent] sent me out for this audition because I had braces on my teeth. I knew I was going to quit acting to play on a basketball team the next year, but this role I felt like I could get."
So he threw all of his might into making him memorable: "I made the conscious decision to go into the room and never let them meet Jaleel White. I just started kind of walking like a geek and I was just like, 'Hi, nice to meet you.' I did the voice."
Twenty-four hours later, he had the job, and TV would never be the same. Even though the show was a spinoff of characters from "Perfect Strangers" — Payton's elevator operator Harriette Winslow, her husband Carl, played by VelJohnson, and their family — White's Urkel, a neighbor, became the signature face and voice of the series.
The article is full of great behind-the-scenes intel, including how the "Matters" cast often played basketball against the cast of "ER," who filmed on the same Warner Bros. lot. And at the time, "ER" starred one pre-A-list George Clooney, who became a friend to the gang, even helping Payton move onto the set.
So would they do it all again, even though the house that served as the show's exterior is being torn down? You bet!
"There's something really magical about this cast, and the real feelings that are here," noted Hopkins. "It wasn't just for the screen. Family really did matter, and still does."

#WOMP: Vince Herbert Loses Legal Battle, Ordered To Pay Sony $3.7 Million
Vince Herbert and his business partner took a major loss in their legal battle with Sony resulting in him being ordered to pay the label $3.7 million dollars! BRUH!
According to the Sony, Tamar Braxton’s husband received an advance back in 2013 to find new talent, but he started intercepting payments from Interscope Records that should have made their way back to Sony.

Via TMZ: According to the suit … Sony paid Herbert to find new talent, and part of the deal required payments back from Interscope Records.
However, Sony sued Herbert, claiming he started intercepting the money from Interscope in October 2015 … thereby screwing Sony out of recouping the advance.
Herbert failed to respond to the lawsuit, and the judge issued a default judgment. Now, including interest, Vince has to pay $3,738,515.93 to Sony.

Welp. It looks like Tamar may want to reconsider her decision to stop making albums.

Rihanna’s Blatant Message To Trump Amid Puerto Rico Devastation
Rihanna has a message for Trump.

The singer took to Twitter on Thursday afternoon to blatantly remind the president of the United States to do something about the hurricane Maria victims in Puerto Rico.

Badgalriri shared an image of The Daily News’ recent cover that reads: Puerto Rico needs more help, Mr. President. She captioned the photo: “Dear @realDonaldTrump I know you’ve probably already seen this, but I just wanted to make sure! Don’t let your people die like this.”
The singer’s message comes on the heels of a seemingly lackluster response to the island’s devastation.
Earlier this week, the President tweeted a series of heartless tweets regarding the disaster, which included a comment about the island’s “old electrical grid.”

He also tweeted: “Much of the Island was destroyed, with billions of dollars … owed to Wall Street and the banks which, sadly, must be dealt with.”
The Donald was not only criticized for his blasé tweets, but waiting as long as he did to react. Instead, the nation’s leader harped on the NFL and professional athletes peacefully protesting human rights.
RIhanna is not the only star to blast Trump for his hurricane response. Late night talk show host, Seth Meyers, said during his show this week: “Hey, weren’t you the guy who was going to put Americans before Wall Street? You couldn’t even do that in a tweet!”

Meyers explained, “People don’t even have clean drinking water and your first instinct is to tell them they owe money. What are you, some kind of [expletive] landlord? Oh, right. You were a [expletive] landlord.”
He added, “You wanted to make American great again, so I’ll say it again. Puerto Rico is America. They’re included in the whole ‘Make America Great Again’ thing.”
After getting major backlash, the president did some damage control and agreed on Thursday to visit the island next Tuesday.

Ryan Leslie Talks Hustling And Barbering With Rolling Out!
Ryan Leslie makes no bones about it. He loved his time as a student at Harvard University. Having graduated the Ivy League university at 19 with honors, he knew he wanted to be an entrepreneur. Working for himself has always been his preference.

“I was also a hustler at Harvard when I was there. I did whatever job I could, starting with cleaning toilets as part of the dorm crew, and finally realizing that I preferred to work for myself. All the guys who were going to social events would come [to me] to get their hair cut. My [barbering] customers were also a focus group. While they were waiting to get their haircuts, I would play songs or music that I was working on,” says Leslie, who obviously always has next money moves on his mind. The pursuit of music is what drove him. It was to his benefit because he’s worked with P. Diddy, Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Snoop Dogg, Usher and Fabolous, to name a few. BREAKING NEWS: Hugh Hefner, Playboy founder, dead at 91!
Hugh Hefner, who founded Playboy magazine and described the magazine as being there to "ignite the flame that became the sexual revolution," has died, the magazine said Wednesday. He was 91.

Hefner died at home, surrounded by loved ones, according to a press release from Playboy. The magazine said he died from natural causes.
His son, Cooper Hefner, credited his father as living "exceptional and impactful life as a media and cultural pioneer and a leading voice behind some of the most significant social and cultural movements of our time in advocating free speech, civil rights and sexual freedom."
"He defined a lifestyle and ethos that lie at the heart of the Playboy brand, one of the most recognizable and enduring in history. He will be greatly missed by many, including his wife Crystal, my sister Christie and my brothers David and Marston, and all of us at Playboy Enterprises," Cooper Hefner said.

Hugh Marston Hefner was born in Chicago in 1926. He thought he'd be a cartoonist. But when he was 27, he started his own magazine.  Heffner told CBS Sunday Morning that he wanted to call it "Stag Party," but changed it to something more upscale.
Women were warned from the first issue: "If you're somebody's sister, wife, or mother-in-law," the magazine declared, "and picked us up by mistake, please pass us along to the man in your life and get back to Ladies Home Companion."
Playboy proved a scourge, and a temptation. Drew Barrymore, Farrah Fawcett and Linda Evans are among those who have posed for the magazine. Several bunnies became celebrities, too, including singer Deborah Harry and model Lauren Hutton, both of whom had fond memories of their time with Playboy. Other bunnies had traumatic experiences, with several alleging they had been raped by Hefner's close friend Bill Cosby, who faced dozens of such allegations. Hefner issued a statement in late 2014 he "would never tolerate this behavior." But two years later, former bunny Chloe Goins sued Cosby and Hefner for sexual battery, gender violence and other charges over an alleged 2008 rape.
One bunny turned out to be a journalist: Feminist Gloria Steinem got hired in the early 1960s and turned her brief employment into an article for Show magazine that described the clubs as pleasure havens for men only. The bunnies, Steinem wrote, tended to be poorly educated, overworked and underpaid. Steinem regarded the magazine and clubs not as erotic, but "pornographic."
"I think Hefner himself wants to go down in history as a person of sophistication and glamour. But the last person I would want to go down in history as is Hugh Hefner," Steinem later said.

"Women are the major beneficiaries of getting rid of the hypocritical old notions about sex," Hefner responded. "Now some people are acting as if the sexual revolution was a male plot to get laid. One of the unintended by-products of the women's movement is the association of the erotic impulse with wanting to hurt somebody."
But Hefner wanted the magazine to be more than just naked pictures. He was an rebel at heart, and he spent decades tearing down barriers.
At a time when America was black and white, Hefner's earliest TV shows (such as "Playboy's Penthouse") brought the races together, casually and comfortably, as if to say, Doesn't everyone live like this?
In the '60s when Playboy franchises in Miami and New Orleans refused to admit black patrons, Hefner bought back the licenses to those clubs at a loss, said Berman, "and then had whoever - black, white, doesn't matter - everyone was welcome."
Around the centerfold, the magazine published controversial authors, discussed controversial topics.

"We know about the sexual revolution," Hefner said. "People are less aware of the part I played related to racial equality, gay rights, the changing of drug laws. We were the amicus curiae, friend of the court in Roe v Wade. It gave women the right to choose."
Hefner added that he was a strong advocate of First Amendment, civil rights and reproductive rights and that the magazine contained far more than centerfolds. Playboy serialized Ray Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451" and later published fiction by John Updike, Doris Lessing and Vladimir Nabokov. Playboy also specialized in long and candid interviews, from Fidel Castro and Frank Sinatra to Marlon Brando and then-presidential candidate Jimmy Carter, who confided that he had "committed adultery" in his heart. John Lennon spoke to Playboy in 1980, not long before he was murdered.
The line that people read Playboy for the prose, not the pictures, was only partly a joke.
Playboy's clubs also influenced the culture, giving early breaks to such entertainers as George Carlin, Rich Little, Mark Russell, Dick Gregory and Redd Foxx. The last of the clubs closed in 1988, when Hefner deemed them "passe" and "too tame for the times."
By the 1990s, sex was moving from magazines to computer screens. Playboy came to be seen as a relic of an earlier time. Circulation dwindled, playboy clubs closed.
By then Hefner had built a $200 million company by expanding Playboy to include international editions of the magazine, casinos, a cable network and a film production company. In 2006, he got back into the club business with his Playboy Club at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas. A new enterprise in London followed, along with fresh response from women's groups, who protested the opening with cries of "Eff off Hef!'"
The twice-married, twice-divorced octogenarian was unabashed proponent of Viagra.

"Couldn't have had seven girlfriends without Viagra," he said. "I don't want to create the false impression that I am partying on the same level that I did back in the 1970s - had multiple girlfriends for a period of time ... I'm very happy."

Hefner told Whitaker he would like to be remembered "as someone who played an important part in changing the social-sexual values of my time."

#RHoA: Kim Fields Talks Real Housewives of Atlanta On WWHL!
One season of Real Housewives of Atlanta was all it took to show actress Kim Fields that reality TV was not her dream job, but she hasn’t sworn off Bravo completely. She stopped by Watch What Happens Live last night and dished with Andy Cohen about her stint on the show and talked about her upcoming work, as well.

Andy plays a clip for Kim that shows Queen Latifah saying she thinks Kim restrained herself on Real Housewives of Atlanta. So Andy asks “Were you restraining yourself?” Kim says “I think, first of all, there’s a difference of ‘what are we talking about?’ and a lot of times the stuff Dana and I..when you’re making a TV show and talking about that and your careers and everything, it’s kind of different than somebody ripping you apart over a he said/she said. You’re trying to be real. It’s like mmm whatever.”
Any chance of a Living Single reunion? “They have been talking about the reboot, but like Dana said, first things first. Lets make sure everybody gets to watch it on every place they want to watch it.”
Andy asks Kim to share her opinion on some of the drama happening on RHOA.

What did she think of the drama between Phaedra, Porsha and Kandi? Has she spoken to Phaedra since she was on the show? “Not at all.” Was she surprised by what went down? “No, because that’s what happens. Right?”

Does she believe that Kenya‘s marriage is the real deal? She sort of reacts like she didn’t know Kenya got married. “Niiiiiiiice. Good for her.” She doesn’t really answer Andy when he asks if she really didn’t know about it. When asked if she was invited to the wedding, Andy says that nobody was invited, but Kim definitely wouldn’t have been invited. Kim laughs hard over that.

Does she still carry snacks and a book in her bag? “Sometimes, so I can stay svelte.”
She says the last Atlanta co-star she talked to was Cynthia Bailey because they have a friend in common (the beauty editor for Essence Mag).
Her biggest takeaway from being on the show? “Easy. That I needed a happy place and time for myself. Not because I was on the show and needed time, I’m saying that I totally learned that from that experience.”

When asked one thing she misses about the women in the group, Kim gives the longest pause in WWHL history. She jokes that there were “so many” she was having trouble deciding on just one. She giggles and never does come up with even one thing she misses.
How does she feel about NeNe and Kim coming back? “Oh great because everybody loves them. They’re favorites, right?”

A viewer asks if Kim was worried about her reputation and did she hold back when she was on the show. “No, I wasn’t worried about my reputation. No, I wasn’t holding back. But, there’s some strategy when you’re designing a career and I absolutely was myself in those situations.”
Andy says that after seeing the whole season air, Kim was most herself and let it out at the reunion. “I was present the whole time, it was really just more so that at the reunion is where it was like they kind of like trying to figure out actual for real ‘triggers’ and that stuff just ain’t going to fly with me.”
A caller asks Kim if she would’ve done anything differently regarding the women questioning her husband’s sexuality. “Not at all.”

She says the worst part of being on Dancing with the Stars was getting eliminated so early. (She lasted 7 of the 10 weeks).

#EMPIRE: Taraji P. Henson responds to ‘Empire’ exit rumors
Is Taraji P. Henson saying goodbye to “Empire” for good? The rumor mill began buzzing earlier this month, as FOX was reportedly knee deep in negotiations to lock down the cast — the hit series returns for its fourth season on September 27.
According to Radar Online, Henson’s contract ends this year, and while the network would like her to sign on the dotted line for future seasons, she’s been a bit hesitant. “Taraji is the franchise, and she’s milking it big time,” a source told the entertainment site. “One minute she’s telling them she wants it go to continue for the foreseeable future, the next she’s changed her mind and talking about the next step of her career elsewhere, or needing a break for her personal life.”

That said, the insider claimed that, “Everybody is bracing for the fact that once she is tired of all this, the whole universe of the series is going to wrap up, and they resent her for it.” Adding that, “It’s a big reason why she is treated like royalty on the set and everybody is walking on eggshells around her.”

Now, it appears that Henson is ready to put a rest to all the gossip, telling “Extra”, “I don’t know what this rumor is that I’m done after episode four… I have bills to pay… I love Chanel too much to walk away from a hit show.” Adding, “Who is spreading that? Who walks away from that money?”

#hiphopnews: Rapper Young Dolph critically wounded in Hollywood shooting
A gunman critically wounded Tennessee rapper Young Dolph outside a Hollywood hotel Tuesday afternoon in what Los Angeles authorities are investigating as possible hip hop rival violence.

The 32-year-old Memphis artist suffered multiple gunshot wounds after being knocked to the ground during a fight at the Loews Hollywood hotel and was rushed to a local hospital, according to police. He is expected to survive.
Los Angeles police spokesman Det. Meghan Aguilar said Young Dolph was confronted by three men outside the hotel and one of the suspects brandished a gun. The men left in a gold Cadillac escalade and ditched the vehicle at a gas station.

A law enforcement source said the shooting may be connected to Young Dolph’s rivalry with another rapper, according to Associated Press.
TMZ reports that the other rapper is Yo Gotti, and he is being eyed as a person of interest.
The feuding crews got in a disagreement at the hotel, where Yo Gotti was a guest, just before gunfire erupted, the gossip site wrote

Cops apprehended one person after the shooting but two more men are on on the lam, authorities said.
Young Dolph claims he was the target of a Charlotte, N.C., shooting in February that left more than 100 shell casings scattered around the crime scene, and his SUV riddled with bullets.

He was not wounded in that shooting and local police have since arrested three people.
The following month, the rapper released a new album referencing the Charlotte shooting and called it “Bulletproof.” He said he later had custom bulletproof panels installed into the SUV.
Young Dolph, whose real name is Adolph Thornton, Jr., released his debut album, “King of Memphis,” in February 2016. It peaked at No. 49 on the Billboard 200 chart. He also appeared on the single “Cut It” with O.T. Genasis, which hit No. 35 on the Billboard 100 list.

Yo Gotti most recently performed his song “Rake it Up” on “The Tonight Show” with Nicki Minaj.

STOP IT! … Tank DID NOT Admit To Performing Oral Sex On Men!
STOP THE MADNESS! Some were saying, what in the world did he just say? That was the exact question fans asked after Tank made a comment during a show that sounded like: “I’ve been sucking d*ck and foreheads for for 40 years.”
Instantly, fans started to raise eyebrows because the remark, which came out of left field, sounded like the singer admitted to performing oral sex on men.

But lets be realistic here Tank has mentioned his wife in interviews on several occasions and there’s no doubt this man loves the mother of his children.

The singer, however clarified his comments and suggested, “Yall tried it!..lol ‘suckin dents in foreheads’ has been used as a term for eating c**chie for years..lol.”

He added on our social media page, “Stop it and just go get the album this Friday SAVAGE 9/29!”

Broncos’ Von Miller Loses Spokeman Gig Over Protest
*When you truly stand for something, you’re going to have to sacrifice something. Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller just came to the realization.
Miller is the latest player to lose an endorsement deal as result of his protest during the national anthem. This past Sunday, Von Miller along with other Broncos players took a knee during the national anthem, resulting in Denver based Phil Long Dealerships asking CBS 4 to stop airing ads featuring Miller.

The company released a statement, which read:
“We are evaluating the events of the weekend. It is important to state that we haven’t fired Von. We are in the middle of contract renewal and this weekend’s events remind us that sometimes we feel that we best represent ourselves. We support Von and his first amendment rights, we know Von and he’s a good person. He donated a police car to his hometown police dept. All that notwithstanding when we bring in celebrities to represent us we run the risk of being misrepresented.”

The manager of the company noted that Von Miller is not fired, but that advertising is being swapped out instead.

Yeah, whatever. We know what the deal is.

#NFL Justin Timberlake 'Is Finalizing' Deal to Perform at Super Bowl Halftime Show
Justin Timberlake is getting back in the game. Thirteen years after his controversial Super Bowl halftime performance with Janet Jackson birthed the term “nipplegate” the 10-time Grammy winner — who’s currently working on his fifth solo album — has been asked to take the stage at the NFL championship in Minneapolis on February 4.
An insider reveals the 36-year-old “is finalizing” his deal, and though reports suggested the dad of 2-year-old son Silas (with wife Jessica Biel) might perform with onetime collaborator Jay-Z, the insider says, “as of right now, it will just be Justin — no surprise performers.”

Timberlake threw it back to his ’NSync days at the 2017 Super Bowl, when he appeared in a surprise Bai Antioxidant Infusions water commercial alongside Christopher Walken. In the ad, the legendary actor, 74, did a dramatic reading of the pop band’s hit “Bye Bye Bye.”

Timberlake and the official Twitter account for 'NSync shared the commercial afterward. "Here goes... #BaiBaiBai. With the one and only #ChristopherWalken. @DrinkBai #SB51," Timberlake tweeted. The band's page added: "Bye Bye = Bai Bai."

Timberlake’s 2004 performance with Jackson not only caused a stir, but changed the rules of the annual broadcasted sporting event as well. Following the shocking end to their performance of Timberlake’s hit “Rock Your Body” – in which he pulled part of Jackson's costume off, briefly revealing her pierced nipple and right breast – the Federal Communications Commission cracked down on new policies and a five-second broadcast delay during live performances was implemented.
