The account was created last week and is already verified. Plus, it’s run by Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment. So far, there’s just a few throwbacks photos on the page, but it already has 33,000 followers waiting with bated breath for every post.
This year marks the tenth anniversary of their disbandment and next year will be the 20th anniversary of the group. What better time to plan a reunion than this?!
#RHoA: Still Whinning! Kordell Stewart: The Real Housewives of Atlanta RUINED MY LIFE!
The Real Housewives of Atlanta was responsible for the demise of Kordell Stewart's marriage, the NFL alumnus says in his new memoir.
Well, that and the minor detail that he was married to Porsha Williams.
Kordell was married to Porsha for just two years before it unraveled, as you know if you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online.
Why? People watching The Real Housewives of Atlanta, according to him.
It's not that the show single-handedly wrecked something amazing, but it didn't help, making a tough situation demonstrably terrible.
“As I unlocked the doors and allowed Bravo’s camera crews into our house and our lives," he writes, everything began to fall apart.
"All existing problems in our marriage seemed to be brought to light."
The 44-year-old former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback is delving into the split in the forthcoming Truth: The Kordell Stewart Story.
“Over time," he writes, "I felt like my only choice was to file for divorce.”
A single dad to pre-teen son Syre, he also accuses the series’ “lifestyle” of having a “negative impact” on his “young, impressionable” boy.
We don't doubt that it did for one minute, but ... had he never heard of Bravo, or the Real Housewives franchise, before signing up?
According to Stewart, divorce in the spotlight can get very, very ugly.
“The show made the divorce worse, but I chose to keep my mouth shut,” he says of his breakup with the mercurial, combative Porsha.
“Whenever you see people running their mouths about things, it’s difficult, especially when those things are not true," he says.
"But the reality is that I have a child who is more important than a foolish reality TV show and people who are trying to make themselves relevant.” Now, without Williams, “my family is ten times better,” he adds.
“I can be around my son and have the right, positive energy.”
#EMPIRE: A new ‘Empire’ song “Starlight”
Reports also have it that a new song, titled “Starlight” will be featured in the upcoming fifth episode of “Empire.”
The song shall take that sweet, intoxicating, and overwhelming feeling of a young love in a song, said Serayah, who sang the song, in a recent interview.
She said that “Starlight” will take viewers back to that place when they had their first love or crush, or when it was just pure infatuation.
Incidentally, the synopsis for the sixth episode of “Empire” Season 3 is now out and accordingly, it would have a big revelation of information as it would feature the conflict between the music artists and the Lyon family.
Chris Brown Releases ‘Attack The Block’ Mixtape
Breezy is back with another mixtape.
Along with OHB (Only Hood Bosses) and U.K.’s Section Boyz, Chris Brown returns with a 16-track project, Attack the Block.
Ray J, French Montana, Hoody Baby, Young Lo, and Young Blacc all pop up on this effort, which follows Chris Brown and OHB’s Before Da Trap: Nights in Tarzana mixtape, which dropped in April.
Breezy isn’t afraid to get raunchy either. On the French Montana-assisted “Erday,” he sings: “You a pretty little lady, f*ck the devil out of you / I’m about to roll some dice, daddy needs some new shoes.”
But he isn’t just singing to the ladies. He also has a message for his foes. “Pull up, if you ‘bout it, ni**a,” he raps on “New Gang.” “Where I’m from, we body ni**as.”

New Hip Hop Music: Big Sean – ‘Bounce Back’
Just hours after unleashing the buzzworthy “No More Interviews,” Big Sean bounces right back with the Hitmaka and Smash David-produced banger “Bounce Back.”
“Last night took an L, but tonight I bounce back,” rhymes the Detroit MC. “Wake up every morning, by the night, I count stacks / Knew that ass was real, when I hit, it bounced back.”
Listen HERE
The cut, which boasts additional production from Metro Boomin and Amaire Johnson, also allows Sean to continue rhyming about his foes. “I heard your new shit, it’s pathetic,” he raps. “Your contract should be shredded.”
Though these bars are subliminal, “No More Interviews” takes aim at Kid Cudi. On the song, he also addresses his current girlrfriend Jhené Aiko and his famous ex, Naya Rivera.
The fact that both “No More Interviews” and “Bounce Back” were released on the same day is prompting fans to wonder if a new album is imminent. Sean’s last effort, Dark Sky Paradise, dropped last year to critical acclaim.
WOW! Broadway’s Color Purple To Close In January After Lukewarm Box Office
“The Color Purple,” the Broadway production that won the 2016 Tony Award for best musical revival, will close in January after just 14 months, due to a sluggish box office.
The show earned a Tony for lead actress Cynthia Erivo, but its initial box office boom began to wane after the holidays, when it last topped $1 million a week. According to Variety, its weekly totals ran a wide gamut, sometimes slipping down toward $550,000. In recent months, the production’s sales have come in between $600,000 and $700,000 per week.
Following its initial reviews when it opened in December, the revival earned a second batch of high-profile raves in May when Heather Headley took over for Jennifer Hudson in the production. Jennifer Holliday moved into the same role earlier this month, joining a cast that also includes Danielle Brooks (“Orange is the New Black”).
“The Color Purple” has yet to recoup it capitalization costs. If the production still hasn’t made it into the black by the time it closes on Broadway, producers will get a second chance to earn some money when a North American tour of the production launches in fall 2017.
“The Color Purple” will close at the Jacobs Theater Jan. 8.

Ex-Boyz II Men Member Michael McCary Reveals He Has Multiple Sclerosis
For more than two decades, Michael McCary was a part of one of the most successful music acts of the ‘80s and ‘90s, until he and Boyz II Men parted ways in 2003. The split wasn’t amicable, and for years, people referenced an unnamed health condition at the root of the band’s breakup. Now, McCary is sharing what that health condition is: multiple sclerosis.
Appearing on an episode of “Iyanla: Fix My Life” alongside five other men, McCary opens up in a group session about the abandonment and betrayal he felt from his ex-bandmates in Boyz II Men. The conversation then turns to his health, as life coach Iyanla Vanzant encourages McCary to speak the truth he’s kept inside for so long.
“I have MS,” he says. “It sent me into a depression.”
McCary says he was in Boyz II Men when he first noticed strange symptoms appearing. “It was like little back spasms at first, and then they would get stronger and stronger. Each time it would get more harsh,” he says. “Once I was about 22, it started going to full-scale.”
With his health in jeopardy, McCary became extremely concerned by what doctors were telling him about his condition.
“They were saying that I have a nerve around the sciatica that was locked in place that could sever if I stepped wrong,” he says. “It’s a possibility that you could be paralyzed.”
Yet, McCary kept his condition a secret, which Iyanla believes made dealing with his abandonment issues all the more challenging. Iyanla says that by speaking the truth now, McCary can begin to heal the other part of himself that needs care. “His openness here today shows his willingness to fix his heart,” she says.
McCary’s healing (as well the healing of others) continues on Saturday’s “Iyanla: Fix My Life,” airing Nov. 5 at 9 p.m. ET on OWN.
Mariah Carey's Manager to Blame for Break-Up?
Earlier this year most of Mariah Carey's longtime staffers quit because they couldn't stand her new manager Stella Bulochnikov [click here if you missed that].
Is Stella also the reason Mariah Carey's engagement to billionaire businessman James Packer ended..?
According to the Australian news outlet that broke the original breakup story, she is.
From Woman's Day AU
With Mariah Carey today officially confirming her shock split from James Packer, it has emerged there was another woman involved in the billionaire’s decision to dump Mimi.
The other woman is Mariah’s manager, Stella Bulochnikov, who James “just can’t stand” close sources revealed exclusively to Woman’s Day today.
n“He cannot tolerate her dictator style,” our insider says.
“She’s a constant in their lives and can be very abrasive. He can’t cop her at all.”
Sources tell us the fight was over Stella, who has been described as “manipulative” in the US media, with Page Six reporting that almost all of Mimi’s loyal entourage have left because of Stella’s “dictator” style of management.
After the story that Stella broke up Mariah and James ran, Mariah posted a picture of herself and Stella online, that many believe was posted by Stella herself, blasting Woman's Day.

Lady Gaga earns fourth No. 1 album with Joanne
Lady Gaga’s fifth solo LP, Joanne, has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, moving 201,000 equivalent units (including 170,000 pure album sales) to become the fourth highest-debuting collection of 2016.
The studio set, which features songs produced and written by the likes of Gaga, Mark Ronson, RedOne, Josh Homme, Hillary Lindsey, BloodPop, Emile Haynie, and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, becomes the pop icon’s fourth No. 1 album in the United States, following similar positioning held by 2011’s Born This Way, 2013’s Artpop, and 2014’s Tony Bennett collaboration, Cheek to Cheek. Despite selling over 15 million albums worldwide, Gaga’s freshman outing, 2008’s The Fame, reached a peak of No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The album’s eight-track follow-up, The Fame Monster, debuted and peaked at No. 5 in 2009.
With Joanne’s debut atop the weekly list, Gaga becomes the only female artist with four No. 1-peaking albums of the 2010s, surpassing both Beyoncé and Taylor Swift, both of whom boast three chart-topping albums released during the decade.
Joanne’s 201,000-unit launch, which also includes streaming-equivalent albums, is the fourth largest of 2016 (and second best for a woman), falling short of Drake’s Views (1.04 million), Beyoncé’s Lemonade (653,000), and Frank Ocean’s Blonde (276,000). Its traditional sales total sits at the No. 7 position on the list of 2016’s best-selling albums, behind Views (852,000), Lemonade (485,000), Blonde (232,000), David Bowie’s Blackstar (174,000), Radiohead’s Moon Shaped Pool (173,000), and Blink-182’s California (172,000), according to Billboard.
As Gaga traveled the U.S. on a substantial promotional run for the album — which included performances on Saturday Night Live, two Dive Bar Tour sets in New York City and Los Angeles, and a Carpool Karaoke session with late night talk show host James Corden — industry sales projections gradually increased, fluctuating between 140,000 and 180,000 since Joanne’s Oct. 21 release.
Following her stint on Carpool Karaoke, Gaga’s “Million Reasons,” originally released as a Joanne promo track, was upgraded to official second single status after shooting to No. 1 on the U.S. iTunes chart, and will impact mainstream radio this coming week. “Perfect Illusion,” released as the album’s lead single, peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 in September.
The full Billboard 200 albums chart will be published on Tuesday, Nov. 1.
