Rihanna Announces Clara Lionel Foundation Global Scholarship Program
A number of students will be getting a helping hand from Rihanna as they head off to college. The “Work” singer has announced the launch of her Clara Lionel Foundation (CLF) global scholarship program, which will award scholarships to international and U.S. students who plan to continue their education in college in the United States.
“To be able to give the gift of an education is actually an honor,” says Rihanna. “Higher education will help provide perspective, opportunities and learning to a group of kids who really deserve it. I am thrilled to be able to do this.”
According to USA Today:
In order to be eligible, applicants must be residents of Barbados, Brazil, Cuba, Haiti, Guyana, Jamaica, or the U.S., and have already been accepted into a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States for the 2016-2017 year.
The scholarship is based on need and the number of students will vary, but the goal is to accept as many students as possible, according to the announcement. Scholarships granted will range from $5,000 to $50,000 and may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta ladies — past and present — know the importance of maintaining appearances, meaning several of them have gone under the knife in order to keep everything nice and tight.
Some gals, like NeNe Leakes, like a nip here and a tuck there more than others, but almost all of the women have done something to stay youthful.
NeNe Leakes
The last OG H’wife left standing has been open about her plastic surgery procedures, which have included a breast lift, rhinoplasty in 2010, and liposuction.
The mother of two even let RHoA cameras film as she opted to replace her large breast implants with smaller ones during Season 3 of the show.
“If anything falls, I pick it up!" the 48-year-old told Us Weekly. “As long as you don't look plastic, a little nip and tuck is OK!”
Porsha Williams
At 34, Porsha is the youngest of the bunch, but that doesn’t mean she’s anti-plastic surgery.
The divorcée got a breast augmentation following her 2014 divorce from Kordell Stewart, and she couldn’t be happier with her “twins” — AKA Coco and Chanel.
“I haven’t had any other work done except for the new girls and I love them,” she told talk show host Steve Harvey in 2015. “I’m enjoying them, probably more than anybody!”
The Go Naked hair founder has also been accused of getting her nose done and fixing her teeth, but (so far) she’s only owning the boob job.
She did, however, get a non-surgical nose job in March 2016.
Kandi Burruss
As far as we know, Kandi is one of the few RHoA cast members who hasn’t had any plastic surgery, or at least not any procedure she’s confirmed publicly.
The new mom, 39, has denied having her breasts done in the past, though some experts say she’s gotten a nose job since her Xscape days, because her nose now appears more refined with a less round tip.
Cynthia Bailey
Though she doesn’t model much anymore, Cynthia’s still got looks to die for, so she’s been very careful and cautious on the plastic surgery front.
The 48-year-old denied getting a nose job in 2013 — calling her beak “God given” — but she was open about her post-baby boob job, intended to fix the “teardrops” left behind from breastfeeding daughter Noelle, now 16.
“I filled up the air in the tires with mine,” Cyn told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live in 2012. “They’re cute, no one really knows I’ve had a boob job.”
You can say that again, girl!
Phaedra Parks
Phaedra has never admitted to having any plastic surgery, but even to the naked eye it seems glaringly obvious the mom of two has had a breast augmentation.
During Season 8 of RHoA, Todd Tucker accused Phaedra of getting a boob job, even though she didn’t have the money to pay him for the work he did on her workout DVD. According to Tamara Tattles, the 42-year-old also had body liposculpture and a Brazilian butt lift.
Kenya Moore
Kenya hasn’t copped to any plastic surgery just yet, but she has denied getting butt and breast implants in the past.
Telling Andy Cohen her bust is “all natural,” the 45-year-old admitted it doesn’t always look that way, explaining, “They get bigger as I'm aging. If I gain, like, two pounds, it's going to my boobs. It's crazy. I'm, like, going up in a bra size lately.”
Given the ever-changing size of her bust, Kenya told the WWHL host she’d be open to a breast lift in the future if need be. “I might need to get 'em hiked later on,” she said. “But there's nothing wrong with a little jiggle — a little meat underneath.”
Kim Fields
It was rumored back in the late 80’s that Kim Fields had a nose job and skin peel. And Some sources say the 46-mother of two has had a breast reduction. Anything other than that nothing else.
Sheree Whitfield
We also couldn’t find any solid evidence Sheree has gone under the knife, but back in 2009 her ex-husband (with whom she’s since reconciled) Bob Whitfield intimated the mother of his children isn’t all natural.
“She didn’t have that nose; I put that nose on her! She didn’t have them breasts, I put them breasts on her,” he declared during a radio interview.
Kim Zolciak
Likely the queen of RHoA plastic surgery, former Housewife Kim Zolciak has had a boob job and a tummy tuck, though she vehemently denies getting a facelift. So far.
“I will always nip and tuck if I feel the need to do so, but I'm open about it. I don't care. You only go around one time, and I especially understand that,” the 37-year-old recently said.
Anywho, Go ahead and keep on being fabulous, RHoA ladies — we’re not judging! LOL!

WOW! BET Cancels Celebration Of Gospel
Well I’ll be! More than 2.6 million total viewers tuned in to BET’s annual special “Celebration of Gospel” when it premiered on April 6, making it the number one gospel/religious telecast on TV for 14 consecutive year.
Despite its stellar ratings and continued success, BET revealed during their upfront presentation to advertisers in New York that “Celebration of Gospel” would not return as one of its “Mega-Specials.” The network is bringing back the “BET Awards,” “Black Girls Rock,” “BET Hip Hop Awards,” and “BET Honors.”

Joseline Hernandez Snags Role in Lee Daniels ‘Star’
Congrats to Joseline Hernandez. The Love & Hip Hop Atlanta break-out star has snagged a role in Lee Daniels new Fox series, Star. The Puerto Rican princess confirms with VH1 that her new gig is with Daniels.
"Yes, I did. I did something for FOX. I’ve worked [on] his new show, and it just got picked up.
"Yes, it just got picked up. So that’s amazing so, yeah, you know you’ve got to do you. And be yourself and then people will really gravitate to you and then you won’t be here today and they vote your ass off the island next week."As previously reported, Fox has snagged Stars for the 2016 — 2017 season. Foxx and Holmes have done a pretty poor job of keeping their dating quiet since 2013.
This year, the media reported that Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes were growing serious. But, it looks like Jamie and Katie’s growing relationship hit the skids this month and the couple have gone their separate ways.
Why did Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes break up? That’s a great question. Seeing as how the super secret couple never even really confirmed they were together, the odds of Foxx and Holmes sharing those details with us are slim. But, general consensus on the internet is that the split had something to do with Katie Holmes’ ex Tom Cruise and/or their daughter Suri.
It’s no secret that Tom Cruise never sees his daughter Suri and Katie is the main parent figure in Suri’s. Word has it that Suri was not adjusting well with Foxx in a step-father role, and Katie eventually chose her daughter over her relationship with Jamie.

Prince’s Paisley Park Home Raided by DEA; Feds Launch Criminal Investigation
On Tuesday the DEA showed up in force at Prince‘s Paisley Park home to execute a search warrant.
We’re also learning that there is an active federal investigation into the doctors who prescribed meds to the late entertainer, sources connected with the investigation told TMZ.
Our sources say the feds are conducting the probe under a series of federal laws targeting doctors who sell prescriptions to drug abusers. Our sources say this is precisely the reason for the investigation.
The laws also outlaw doctors and pharmacies who falsify record or forge prescriptions.
Our law enforcement sources tell us … there’s an additional element … crossing state lines to violate prescription laws. Our sources say the feds are also looking at the son of the rehab doctor who flew to Minnesota with a backpack full of synthetic opiates. We’re told Andrew is under the federal microscope.
