T.D. Jakes’ Daughter Cora Condemns ‘Le’andria Johnson’s Behavior On Show (P.O.A)!

T.D. Jakes’ Daughter Cora Jakes Coleman Condemns ‘Preachers Of Atlanta’, Particularly Le’andria Johnson’s Behavior On Show
A popular mega pastor’s daughter is totally turned off by a new faith-based reality show and she’s not afraid to speak out.

Like father, like daughter. When Oxygen’s “Preachers of LA” first hit the small screen, Bishop T.D. Jakes called it “junk.” Now the mega pastor’s daughter is sounding off against the latest franchise installment, “Preachers of Atlanta.”
“I’m sorry. I don’t agree with it,” said Cora Jakes Coleman in a Periscope video condemning the unsavory behavior of cast member, Pastor Le’Andria Johnson.

On the program, the leader of Imperfect People Changing Ministries, also a GRAMMY® Award-winning vocalist, passes out cigarettes on the street, dresses as a prostitute and hands out condoms to hookers, and cusses her husband out.
“This is a poor representation of what we as preachers and ministers of the gospel are supposed to be showing the people of God,” said Jakes Coleman, who expressed both confusion and concern.
Johnson, who is no stranger to controversy, was recently hit with criticism for a drunken, profanity-filled rant on Periscope and swearing on Twitter. Yet, the defiant and unapologetic BET “Sunday Best” alum seems unmoved by public opinion.
“I was simply being me and enjoying being me,” the controversial preacher said in an interview with Praise 102.5 FM’s Darlene McCoy, addressing her Periscope controversy. “At the end of the day, I am imperfect before my fans, before my family and imperfect before God.”
Jakes Coleman, who acknowledges that no one is perfect, argues that Christian leaders must use discretion when publicly revealing aspects of private life.
“We have to be very careful about what we allow people to see,” she explained. “There is an issue I have when you open up the world to seeing your struggle in such a way and then you don’t offer a resolution or a solution or wisdom or encouragement or something right off the bat.”

“Preachers of Atlanta,” which also stars Pastor Corey Hambrick, Pastor Canton Jones, Pastor Kimberly Jones-Pothier, and Pastor Judah Swilley, showcases unorthodox ministry approaches and real issues both believers, and non-believers face.

According to Jakes Coleman, a line has been crossed. Says the one who got pregnant out of wedlock!
