Is Lil Kim In Danger Of Losing Mansion Over Unpaid Taxes?
Lil Kim hasn’t released a studio album since 2005 but maybe the legendary rapper should make her way back to the recording booth.
The IRS has the 41-year-old star born Kimberly Jones on their radar and the end game always has them coming out on top.

According to Bossip: With Lil Kim making domestic violence allegations and facing a child custody battle, it’s no wonder that she let her finances lapse.
But the IRS doesn’t care, and last month, slapped the pint-sized rapper with a federal tax lien for nearly $127,000. That means the IRS could seize her $3 million, two acre North Jersey mansion, which she bought in 2002, in order to clear the tax debt.
Lil Kim is currently fighting her ex, Mr. Papers, for custody of their one-year-old daughter, Royal Reign. Mr. Papers filed for one day a week parental visitation of the tot, and agreed to have a court-appointed monitor supervise the visits.
An IRS spokesman told BOSSIP that it doesn’t comment on individual cases.
Kim has been in hot water with the taxman before. In 2010, the IRS filed a $510,000 tax lien against her. New York State has three tax warrants totaling $70,628 for back taxes from 2008 through 2010.

The news leaked a day after Lil Kim claimed her child’s father, Mr. Papers used to go upside her head. Obviously, he’s not playing fair either. DAMN KIMMY BOO!

Did Kris Jenner hash things out with Caitlyn Jenner?
Things between Caitlyn Jenner and Kris Jenner have been rocky ever since the former married couple split and Jenner came out as transgender earlier this year. But after months of tension between the two, a new report claims that Caitlyn and Kris may have finally made peace with each other.

As previously reported, Kris didn’t take Jenner’s transition well and she publicly mourned the “loss” of her husband on a special episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” telling Jenner that she was shocked about his transition and that he’d mentally checked out of their marriage.
However, Jenner claimed that Kris knew of her desire to become a woman and that she’s been mean to her throughout their marriage.

Suffice it to say, the couple ended their marriage on a sour note and when Jenner finally did make her debut as woman and received praise from her children, Kris was noticeably silent.
Things were so bad that Jenner reportedly didn’t even invite Kris to the ESPY Awards to watch her receive the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.
But there may be hope for peace between the two because TMZ is reporting that Kris met up with Jenner on Tuesday to begin hashing out their issues.

Sources say that Kris is sad that, despite having been married for 23 years and having kids together, she and Jenner rarely ever speak anymore. So when she went to Jenner’s home on Tuesday, the two got personal and began to really open up to each other about where things have gone wrong between them.

The sources say that not everything was settled in the conversation, but Kris is hopeful that this is the start of a new beginning with Jenner.

Confederate Flags Left Near Rev. Martin Luther King's Church Ebenezer Baptist!
Police worked Thursday to identify two white males who were caught on surveillance camera laying Confederate battle flags neatly on the ground near the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.'s church.
It was the latest provocative act involving the Civil War-era symbol since nine black church members were gunned down during Bible study in South Carolina, and it happened in the heart of an area devoted to the slain civil rights leader, near his birthplace, his crypt and a center devoted to preserving his legacy.

Atlanta police Chief George Turner said his agency was working with federal authorities and they have not determined what charges might be levied. Turner said they have not ruled out a hate crime, though Georgia has no state hate crimes law.

An officer from the Atlanta FBI's joint terrorism task force was on the scene "to better determine if any specific threats were received" and to provide support to Atlanta police, FBI Special Agent Steve Emmett said in an email.
The Rev. Raphael Warnock, senior pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church, called placing the flags on church grounds a "terroristic threat."
"This act by a cowardly and misguided individual or individuals is provocative to say the least. It ought to get the attention not only of black people but of freedom-loving people," he said. "To place Confederate flags on the campus of Ebenezer Baptist Church after this horrific act in Charleston, in the wake of all this happening in our country, whatever the message was, it was clearly not about heritage, it was about hate."
King preached at Ebenezer Baptist Church on Auburn Avenue, once a bustling center of commerce for Atlanta's African-American businesses and residents. The area is home to the historic church and a new church building where the congregation now meets and where the flags were placed. Nearby is the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change, and all of those buildings are just a short walk from the home of King's grandparents, where he lived for the first 12 years of his life.

Atlanta police Officer Gary Wade said a maintenance worker discovered the flags at 6 a.m. Thursday and notified the National Park Service, which operates the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site, which is adjacent to the church.
The flags weren't stuck in the ground but instead laid flat. One was placed near a bell tower under a poster that said: "Black Lives Matter." The slogan, which has been spray-painted on Confederate monuments across the South this summer, has become part of a movement of civil rights supporters who say police treat blacks unfairly.

Two former Georgia prosecutors said it might be tough to prosecute the people responsible.
"It was certainly divisive and not acceptable behavior the way it was done, but I cannot find a criminal act to it," said Bob Keller, the Clayton County district attorney for nearly three decades until 2004.
Ken Hodges, who served as Dougherty County district attorney from 1997 to 2008, said a charge of vandalism to a place of worship might be possible.

Warnock, the church pastor, said black clergy from around the country were gathered at Ebenezer on Thursday to discuss the role of black churches in social justice issues, including mass incarceration. The placing of the flags only strengthens their resolve, he said.
Superintendent Judy Forte of the National Park Service said her office at the King historic site received a threatening phone message the day before the shooting at the South Carolina church. The message was rambling and "very alarming and they did mention coming here to the historic site," she said. There was no indication that was connected to the flags.
At some point within the last two years, a Confederate battle flag was placed at the tomb of King and his wife Coretta across the street from the church, said Forte, who couldn't recall exactly when that happened.

"It was disturbing and sickening, but unfortunately not terribly surprising," Warnock said of the latest incident. "We've seen this kind of ugliness before."

Chris Tucker Sues Comedian, Blasts Lawsuit Filed By Man Over Netflix Special
Chris Tucker is blasting the comedian who sued him accusing him of not paying him a dime in years for his work on his recent Neflix special, claiming his generosity was taken advantage of and the man actually owes him over 25k. According to TheJasmineBrand

Earlier this month, a man named Terry Hodges filed suit against Chris Tucker claiming he did a ton of work – starting in 2008 – for Tucker and his recent Netflix special — editing, writing, acting and producing – and hasn’t been paid in a dime in years. Hodges claimed in his lawsuit that he racked up 66k in fees, traveling to Philly, L.A. and Atlanta and had not received a paycheck regularly since 2011. Further, he accused Tucker of lying, by telling him that he would be listed as co-producer for the Netflix special. He sued for unspecified damages for the unpaid work he did for the comedian

Then on July 28th, Tucker fired back, explaining that he consulted with Hodges in regards to his concert film and to warm up the audience along with introducing him before he came out on stage. However, he says he never hired him to write, edit, produce, act or do voice over announcing for his special.

He denied all the allegations in the complaint and says that Hodges has been paid the full amount he was owed. He also claims that any damages Hodges may have incurred are offset by the wrongful conduct he committed including personal loans that Tucker gave to Hodges.

Tucker also accuses Hodges of not performing his obligations per their deal.
He then counter-sued Hodges saying he loaned the man 25k, on an open book that Tucker opened for him — which was to be paid back. However, he claims he was never paid and Tucker says he has been damaged to the tune of 25k + interest for him not paying him back.

Tucker explains he has demanded the 25k payment numerous times but Hodges has yet to pay. He is suing Hodges for the money back and attorney fees for having to fight this battle in court.

Is K.Michelle Announcing a Home Furnishing Line really NOT HERS?
What should be an exciting time for K.Michelle (real name Kimberly Michelle Pate) has turned into a bit of a controversy. The soulful singer — who most of us were introduced on the Love & Hip Hop franchise, coupled with her own spin-off — has announced her latest business venture, a home goods line.

She announced on Instagram:
Can’t believe this is really happening. So excited about my new home good line. It has everything from my custom designed furniture, my doggie beds, candles, bed and bath accessories. Coming to a retailer near you. Thank you so much @nicologyrules bringing my vision and passion to life. Details coming soon???? Custom orders will be available! Pick your own colors
So what’s the issue? An Atlanta area furniture company called Huff Furniture in Buckhead claims that K.Michelle’s furniture isn’t exactly authentic. One of the company’s owners wrote the following on Instagram:
They say imitation is the best form of flattery. We say it’s simply poor form especially when it’s done using images from within our showroom.

Folks if you want to actually find a gossip page you can trust, check out @spillth3tea2 as opposed to people with an agenda instead of slanting the truth. @theshaderoominc continually post half truths to suit their interests instead of truths. Repost that! #clapbackseason

This is business and business etiquette 101. Clients and friends, do business with whomever you choose. Just know, when you put your 50% deposit of hard earned money into another persons hands, you want to make dang sure that person knows business. After 59 years sitting on Peachtree, trust and believe this is not the first time and won’t be the last that people try to come for us. That’s okay and that’s the American way. Many of our followers know I’m a female and I continually support female entrepreneurship. The difference is professionalism and ethics. I wish@KMichellemusic all the best. I just wish we had the opportunity to have met before all this so I could have mentored her along her journey in this business.#SundayNotSoFunDay ????????????

K.Michelle caught wind of the furniture store’s response, and wrote another post with the caption:

It’s the lifestyle! An Upscale affordable home good line created by Kimberly Michelle for the EVERDAY ladies who desire to “Live Like A Queen” Coming to a store near you. @nicologyrules we are more than ready! Custom orders will be available! Pick your own colors! ***THANK YOU NEW AGE UPHOLSTERY for this design, and making all my other designs. *** I’m pretty sure you’ve made other beds for other companies and they sell them. Hate to upset you, but me and Huff have the same distributor. Mine will be several different colors and textures. They will be on sale soon! Sorry, not sorry.

Anywho, no details have yet been released on the official date for K.Michelle’s launch.

Ciara Gets talks to VICE Magazine, Shares Her Love For Janet Jackson
In the midst of her budding romance with footballer Russell Wilson, "Dance Like We're Making Love" singer Ciara opened up to VICE Magazine about her critically-praised tribute to Janet Jackson at the BET Awards, the tips she's learned about relationships and how becoming a mother has changed her life.

The pictorial for the magazine was shot by Louie Banks and carried a very "presidential" theme.  Here are the highlights:

Would you ever run for president?
It definitely hasn’t crossed my mind.

Well, I'd vote for you. So, first off, please tell me everything about the Janet Jackson tribute video you were involved with, in intricate detail.
Oh, it was so fun. Everything about it was surreal, up until the point of being on stage like “this really happening?" Y’know, I just have so much respect for her. She truly is, to me, the best to ever do it when it comes to entertainment. I really wanted to make sure that I did the best that I could do, and honor her. It took tonnes of rehearsals, and I was also in for my video rehearsals as well as her rehearsals so it was just non stop. When I finally got to the stage, I was like “this is happening. It’s about to go down.” It was super exciting.
The latest album is named Jackie after your mother and your previous album was eponymous. Is there any significance behind that?
With this album, it was named after my mom but it was inspired from the fact that I’m a new mom and I understand what it’s like to be in her shoes and see the world from her point of view. So I guess if you think about it, my last album was self-titled and now I’m naming it after my mom, it does have a progression and it makes me feel something really cool. I’ve been really in tune with my growth over the past few years, and I’ve been yearning to grow and to learn more and keep on discovering more about myself. In this case, with this album, I definitely feel like it’s my best body of work to date. I allowed myself to be the most vulnerable I’ve ever been and I was really in tune with what I felt. I thought it was really important to get lost in the music and not overthink things. That’s what these past few years have been about for me - growing and self-discovery. And also for my fans to get to know me more and to know that we’re all the same, we all go through the same things. What better platform than music to be able to share something that everyone can relate to, and help or inspire or just be able to relate with people. That was really important to me. That’s what this album is about. And I do feel like a mini Jackie!
Let's talk about love. You have a lot of songs in your back catalogue that promote zero-tolerance on fuckboys. What have you learned about men over the course of your career?
I think that the one thing that’s important for a man when it comes to love is just timing. And that’s true for men and women. When it comes to love, females… we’re more likely to be more sensitive and allow ourselves to be more vulnerable. Guys, they’re used to being a little more fearful when it comes to love. I think when they decide to open up to love it’s really about timing, and what’s going on in their lives and when they want to. You can’t force anybody to love, they have to want to do that themselves. I think men are very simple. We are way more complicated beings, as females.
